Installing and operating your fridge
Before using your fridge, you should pay attention to the following points:
• The operating voltage for your fridge is 220-240 V at 50Hz.
The mains cord of your fridge is tted with a grounded plug. This plug should be used with a grounded receptacle that has a 16 ampere fuse minimum. If you don’t have a
receptacle which conforms to this, contact a qualied electrician.
• We do not accept responsibility for any damages that occur due to ungrounded usage.
• Place your fridge where it will not be exposed to direct sunlight.
• Your appliance should be at least 50 cm away from stoves, gas ovens and heater cores, and at least 5 cm away from electrical ovens.
• Your fridge should never be used outdoors or exposed to rain.
• When your fridge is placed next to a deep freezer, there should be at least 2 cm between them to prevent humidity forming on the outer surface.
• Do not place anything on your fridge, and install your fridge in a suitable place so that at least 15 cm of free space is available above it.
• Use the adjustable front legs to make sure your appliance is level and stable. You can adjust the legs by turning them in either direction. This should be done before placing food in the fridge.
• Before using your fridge, wipe all parts with a solution of warm water and a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate, then rinse with clean water and dry. Place all parts in the fridge after cleaning.
• Install the plastic distance guide (the part with black vanes at the rear)

EN -5-
Before using your fridge freezer
When using your fridge for the rst time, or after transportation, keep it in an upright position for at least 3 hours before plugging into the mains.
This allows efcient operation and prevents damage to the compressor.
Your fridge may have a smell when it is operated for the rst time. This is normal and the smell will fade away when your fridge starts to cool.
Information on No-Frost technology
No-frost refrigerators differ from other static refrigerators in their operating principle.
In normal fridges, the humidity entering the fridge due to opening the door and the humidity inherent in the food causes freezing in the freezer compartment. To defrost the frost and ice in the freezer compartment, you are periodically required to turn off the fridge, place the food that needs to be kept frozen in a separately cooled container and remove the ice gathered in the freezer compartment.
The situation is completely different in no-frost fridges. Dry and cold air is blown into the fridge and freezer compartments homogeneously and evenly from several points via a blower fan. Cold air dispersed homogeneously and evenly between the shelves cools all of your food equally and uniformly, thus preventing humidity and freezing.
Therefore your no-frost fridge allows you ease of use, in addition to its huge capacity and stylish appearance.

While this department is used as 0 °C department, keeping food in the chiller compartment instead of the freezer or refrigerator compartment allows food to retain freshness and
avour for longer, while preserving its fresh appearance. When the chiller tray becomes
dirty, remove it and wash with water. Water freezes at 0°C, but food containing salt or sugar freezes at temperatures lower than this. Normally people use the chiller
compartment for storing raw sh, lightly pickled food, rice, etc...
• Pull the chiller shelf out towards you. The cover will open automatically.
Do not put food you want to freeze or ice trays (in order to make ice) in this compartment.

• Pull the chiller shelf out toward you (Picture-2)
• Pull the wheels of chiller shelf up from rail to remove (Picture-3)
Fresh dial
If the crisper is totally full, the fresh dial located in front of crisper should be opened. This allows the air in the crisper and humidity rate to be controlled, increasing the life of the food.
If you see any condensation on the glass shelf, you must open this dial, which is located behind the shelf.
Ice pack
If a power failure or malfunction occurs, the ice pack can be used to slow
down the thawing process. The longest storage time is obtained by plac-
ing the ice pack directly on the food in the top compartment. To save space, the ice pack can be stored in the door compartment. The ice pack can also be used to cool food temporarily, for example in
a cold bag.
Visual and text descriptions on the accessories section may
vary according to the model of your appliance.

If your fridge is not operating:
• Is there an electrical fault?
• Is your appliance plugged in?
• Is the fuse of the socket or the main fuse blown?
• Is there a fault with the socket? Examine this by plugging your fridge into a socket which you are sure is working.
If your fridge is operating too loudly: Normal noises
Cracking (Ice cracking) Noise:
• During automatic defrosting.
• When the appliance is cooled or warmed (due to expansion of appliance material).
Short cracking: Heard when the thermostat switches the compressor on/off. Compressor noise (Normal motor noise): This noise means that the compressor
operates normally. The compressor may cause more noise for a short time when it is activated.
Bubbling noise and splashing: This noise is caused by the ow of refrigerant in the
tubes of the system.
Water ow noise: Normal noise of water owing into the evaporation container during
defrosting. This noise can be heard during defrosting. Air Blow Noise: Normal fan noise. This noise can be heard in a No-Frost fridge during
normal operation of the system, due to the circulation of air.
If the edges of fridge cabinet that touch the door joint are warm:
In hot weather, the surfaces of the joint contact may get warmer during operation of the compressor. This is normal.
If humidity builds up inside the fridge:
• Is the food packed properly? Are the containers dry before being placed in the fridge?
• Are the fridge doors opened frequently? Humidity of the room gets in the fridge when the doors are opened. Humidity build up will be faster when you open the doors more frequently, especially if the humidity of the room is high.
If the doors do not open and close properly:
• Do the food packages prevent the door from closing?
• Are the door compartments, shelves and drawers located properly?
• Are door gaskets broken or torn?
• Is your fridge on a level surface?
If your fridge is not cooling sufciently enough:
See page 11. (Warning regarding temperature settings).
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• The compressor protection thermal fuse will blow after a sudden loss of power of after the appliance is unplugged. This is beacuse the gas in the cooling system has not stabilised and is nothing to worry about. Your fridge will start wihin 5-10 minutes.
• If you do not intend to use your fridge for a long time (e.g. in summer holidays) unplug it and clean once defrosting has taken place (see SECTION 4). Leave the door open to prevent humidity and smells.

Tips for saving energy
1.Install the appliance in a cool, well ventilated room , but not in direct sunlight and not near a heat source (radiator, cooker.. etc). Otherwise use an insulating plate.
2.Allow warm food and drinks to cool down outside the appliance.
3.When thawing frozen food, place it in the refrigerator compartment. The low temperature of the frozen food will help to cool the refrigerator compartment when it is thawing. This will help to save energy. If the frozen food is put out, it results in a waste of energy.
4.Cover drinks or other liquids when placing them in the appliance Otherwise humidity increases in the appliance. Therefore, the working time gets longer. Also covering drinks and other liquids helps to preserve smell and taste.
5.Try to avoid keeping the doors open for long periods or opening the doors too frequently as warm air will enter the cabinet and cause the compressor to switch on unnecessarily often.
6.Keep the covers of the different temperature compartments (crisper, chiller ...etc ) closed
7.Door gasket must be clean and pliable. Replace gaskets if worn.
