The EZ Connect Powerline™ Adapter (SMCHPAV-ETH) uses the in-house AC power
network for data transmission and is compliant with the HomePlug AV standard. It provides
up to 200Mbps data transfer speed with push-button 128-bit AES data encryption for
maximum security. Supporting Quality of Service (QoS), the adapter automatically prioritizes
video and audio packets ensuring smooth data transfer and multimedia streaming.
The SMCHPAV-ETH also comes with a configuration utility that runs on Windows platforms
allowing network management for locally connected powerline devices as well as remote
devices. The SMCHPAV-ETH is an easy to set up solution for extending a home or small
office network without having to run expensive cabling or perform extensive network
configuration. Just Plug and Play to power on your digital life.
