most cost effective solution when migrating to
higher port density (32-ports with optional 8-port
module inserted),fiber connectivity to a back bone
with 100 Mbps or 1000 Mbps.
This Fast Ethernet switch is an excellent choice as a
departmental collapsed backbone,as it supports
Fast Ethernet hubs,servers,power users, in additional to legacy Ethernet LAN segments. Its storeand-forward design prevents bad data packets
from propagating throughout the network.
Featuring a large 12000k MAC address table,flow
control and VLAN capabilities,the SMC1026DT
ensures data integrity and delivery even under
heavy loading.
