The ADSL BarricadeTM(SMC7904BRA) is an external Ethernet standards based ADSL2/2+ modem and Router that provides high-speed internet access to both the residential and the small and home offic (SoHo) user. This new Modem/Router provides unrivaled asymmetric high-speed data transport over a single copper pair linking branch offices, home offices and individual subscribers to their network services providers, including internet service providers.

The SMC7904BRA also has a built in DHCP server to make implementing and expanding your network simple and easy. This device supports Full-rate G.dmt, which gives you download speeds of 12Mbps and upload speeds of 896Kbps. Its NAT based Firewall security provides a high level of security for your network. This new device is a complete ADSL solution for PC or MAC users. Graphical user interface software is provided for easy installation, configuration, and management. The LED display panel on the front of the product shows at-a-glance the Ethernet activity, ADSL status and Power.
