OVERVIEW
The TigerStore™ 2BAY NAS (SMCNAS02) is an ideal solution for the home or small offi ce with fi le sharing
needs. SMCNAS02 supports Raid 0/1 and JBOD (BIG) modes and can also be used as an iTunes® Server,
DLNA Media Server, FTP Server, and Print Server making it not only a simple NAS device but a very fl exible
centralized multi-functioning storage device for any home or small offi ce. SMCNAS02 also offers a BitTorrent download feature enabling uninterrupted downloads even when the computer is powered off. When using the SMCNAS02 to stream content, quota management for users is recommended by allocating the hard
disk size. SMCNAS02 is easy to install and can be confi gured readily by inserting the auto-run CD that is
included in the packaging. In addition, the TigerStore™ also features easy One-Button backup and compatibility with multiple storage mediums.

Using Hardware RAID 0/1 and JBOD (BIG) confi guration can backup
your data easily and safely. Users can insert and backup the contents of their SD/MMC/MC/ or USB Storage devices to SMCNAS02
with just a push of a button. Up to 2 USB 2.0 devices can be connected to expand network storage as well.
SMCNAS02 can be act as the main download station to download/
upload fi les from the internet constantly. Via its NAS functionality
it is easy to share those fi les later with anybody in your network.
Media Server Capabilities Flexibility UPS Backup Support
Allow your storage system to function as a media server offering
simple storing and sharing of music, video, and photos. Even image
snapshots from SMC’s IP camera can be recorded and stored onto
the SMCNAS02.
Connect a USB-UPS device supporting HID power device standard
for temporary data protection and backup power in the event of a
power failure.
