The EZ Connect Powerline™ Adapter (SMCHPAV-ETH2) uses the in­house power network for data transmission and is compliant with the
HomePlug AV standard. It provides high-speed 200Mbps data transfer
rates with push-button 128-bit AES data encryption for maximum
security. Supporting Quality of Service (QoS), the adapter automatically
prioritizes video and audio packets ensuring smooth data transfer and
multimedia streaming. The SMCHPAV-ETH2 also comes with a
configuration utility that runs on Windows platforms allowing network
management for all connected powerline devices.
