High Gain Parabolic Dish Antenna Assembly Instructions

 Slide Mounting Bracket Holes (2) over the four PEM studs on Hat

Mount (1).

 Fasten the four Lock Nuts (3) onto PEM studs on Hat Mount (1).  Mount the back of the Mounting Bracket (4) to an outside fixture.  The Parabolic Dish antenna has a narrow 14° beam width, which

requires precise alignment to the opposing antenna.

 We suggest you use a compass or other types of alignment aid to

ensure the antennas are pointing precisely at each other.

With the addition of one of these amplifiers, the output power of the Wireless Access Point or Wireless Bridge can be increased to 500mW, or 1 Watt of power.

SMCANT-CAB25F This 25 ft antenna cable is used for extending the distance between SMC’s Access Point/Bridge and an SMC High Gain Antenna.

SMCANT-CAB50F This 50 ft antenna cable is used for extending the distance between SMC’s Access Point/Bridge and an SMC High Gain Antenna.

SMCANT-CAB50FNN This 50 ft antenna cable connects the SMCAMP-500 500mW Amplifier or SMCAMP1000 1 Watt Amplifier to the SMC High Gain Antenna.

SMCANT-CAB75F This 75 ft antenna cable is used for extending the distance between SMC’s Access Point/Bridge and an SMC High Gain Antenna.

SMCAMP-INJ 2.4GHz Power Injector will supply power over Ethernet to the SMCAMP-500, SMCAMP-1000.

Desktop Stand Assembly Instructions

 Place antenna Mounting Screw (2) through Hole (5).  Screw on Lock Nut (3) and tighten.  Attach the Cable to the Connector (1) on the back of antenna.  Attach the other end of the Cable to Wireless Device.  For optimal results, place the antenna tip (4) in the direction of

desired coverage area.

• Attach antenna cable from radio to Amplifier (1).

• Attach antenna cable from Amplifier to Antenna (2).

• Attach supplied power supply to the power input port (3).

• Attach antenna cable from Amplifier to Antenna (2).

• Connect Category 5 cable input (4).

• Connect Category 5 cable output to AP/Bridge (5).
