SMC Networks’ EZSwitch 10/100/1000 (SMCGS16-Smart/
SMCGS24-Smart) are 16 and 24 port gigabit smart switches that
bring the speed of gigabit copper to the desktop combined with
user friendly web based configuration. SMCGS16-Smart and
SMCGS24-Smart provide a flexible web based management
interface to enable the configuration of port settings, QoS (IP
Port, DSCP and 802.1p), link aggregation and VLAN's. These
features allow traditionally unmanaged networks to increase
throughput and security which is becoming critical in next
generation networks. Ideal for users looking to migrate from
unmanaged to managed networks, these Smart switches
are easy to install and provide 10 times the throughput than
100M switches. Notebook and desktop computers are being

configured with 1000BASE-T ethernet ports, combined with
SMC’s gigabit Smart switches, computers on your network will
work to their fullest potential; downloading files from the sever
or other central network resources, better control and
configuration options, non-blocking wire-speed throughput, and
scalable solutions for increased performance and productivity
needs. The SMCGS16-Smart and SMCGS24-Smart are a perfect
solution for enterprise and SOHO businesses.
