SMC2502W
The SMC EliteConnect WLAN Access Manager (SMC2502W) is an ideal solution for protecting, managing, and controlling your wireless network. Supporting up to four Access Points, the SMC WLAN Access Manager utilizes a high performance packet inspection engine to monitor and manage all network traffic. Acting as a secure gateway to the corporate network, the SMC WLAN Access Manager provides control, security, and management features in one easy-to-use device. The SMC EliteConnect WLAN Access Manager (SMC2502W) lies between the wireless clients and the protected network. It connects to your Access Points, enables Layer 3 roaming across multiple subnets, which provides maximum mobility for wireless users, while enforcing pre-configured user rights from the control server once the users have been authenticated. To manage the wireless network, this new SMC Access Manager supports complete session logging and persistent session roaming. When you combine this new EliteConnect WLAN Access Manager with an SMC EliteConnect WLAN Secure Server (SMC2504W), you have the perfect solution to meet any wireless security issues.
