To ensure the long-time reliable use of SMART ser ie s
and optimize light output, we recommend cleaning
the internal and external optical lenses and mirror
periodically due to fog residue and dust. Cleaning
frequency depends on the working environment.
Please clean your unit in the following manner:
Clean the external casing with a normal glass

cleaner and a soft cloth;
2.
Brush the cooling vent and fan;
3.
Clean the external optical lens and mirror with a
normal glass cleaner and a soft cloth every 20
days;
Clean the internal optics with a normal glass
4.
cleaner and a soft cloth every 1-2 months.
Make sure the unit is completely dry before

This is a brief guide to DMX address setting. DMX
products must have their own “ address” to receive
DMX signals. Please use the LCD control panel on
each SMART li gh t to s et i ts D MX a dd re ss .
For example, to operate four SSC-1, each with five
DMX channels (please refer to SSC-1 DMX
Channel), their DMX address setting will be as
follows:
DMX address value
Light 1 1
Light 2 6
Light 3 11
Light 4 16
No te : each unit has five channels so each address
advances five values (see DMX address value
above).

unit from carton and, please notify your dealer
immediately if damage occurred during shipping.

When operating a SMART li gh ti ng w it h a DM X
controller, please set the DMX address on the LCD
panel of the lighting. Press “MENU” on the LCD
panel and select “ADRES” and then press “SELECT”
to set the desired DMX address. Please refer to DMX
value guide in Appendix-A.

Connect the DMX controller signal cable to the
input socket at the back of the lighting. Make sure
the signal cable polarity is correct. And then
connect the power cord to appropriate power
supply socket. Now your SMART lig ht i s re ad y fo r
operation with your DMX controller.

If desired, connect another SMART lig ht : pl ug o ne
end of a signal cable into the output socket at the
back of the first light and, plug the other end of the
signal cable into the input socket at the back of a
second light, follow this procedure to link more
SMART lig ht s.

model for their DMX channel setting.

below operating manners:

Press “menu” on the LCD control panel and select
“AUDIO”;
Press “↑” to turn the function ON;

the operating manners as below:
1.
Make sure to unplug all DMX controllers that are in
connection;
2.
Press “MENU” buttons on the control panel of the
master lighting until “AUDIO” appears on the LCD
screen, and then press “↑” to have the function
“ON”; at this moment, the master lighting becomes
an audio controller and controls the movement of
the other lightings;
3.
To connect another lighting: plug one end of a
signal cable into the output socket at the back of
the master lighting and plug the other end of the
signal cable into the input socket at the back of a
second lighting. Follow this procedure to link
more lightings;

The connected master and slaver lights have two
moving patterns:
Synchronous Moving Pattern: to have the other
lights acting synchronously. Please follow
below steps:
1.
Press “MENU” buttons on the control panel of
the master light until “ADRES” appears on the
LCD screen, and then press “SELECT” to set
the value at “1”；
2.
Follow the above step and set the “ADRES”
value of other connected lights at “1”;
3.
Your S MA RT lights are now ready and you can
operate them in synchronous moving pattern.
Dual Moving Patterns: the other lights react to
sound, chasing through the master's built-in
programs. Please follow below steps:
Suppose we have connected four SSC-1, with
each SSC-1 of five DMX channels:
Press “MENU” buttons on the control panel of

the master light until“ADRES”appears on
the LCD screen, and then press “SELECT” to
set the value at “1”；
2.
Follow the above step and set the “ADRES”
value of the 2nd light at “6” (1+5 channels=6, if
the lights are of 6 channels, then set the value
at “7”);
Then set the “ADRES” value of the 3rd light at
3.
“1” and that of the 4th light at “6”; (follow the
same procedure to link more lights)

operate them in dual moving pattern.
