Usage and maintenance
The urinal sensor valve is designed and manufactured based on
pyroelectric infrared radial sensor technology, so it is safe to use. It will
bring a comfortable and modern life to you thanks to its designed
features.
Step 1: If a user moves in the sensor area, the indicator light will flash when
using battery and it will be on when using electricity to notify detection of the
user.
Step 2: After 3 seconds, if it still detects the user in the front, the device
will automatically open the valve for wet flush for 2 - 5 seconds (optional).
Within 45 seconds after this flush, if there is user presence, it will not
perform such wet flush again. This is smart feature to save water.
Step 3: The device will wait until the user moves out of the sensor area, it
will automatically flush the urinal cleanly for 6 - 12 seconds (optional).

Maintenance during use
Glass maintenance
After operating in the moist and dusty environment for a time period, the
device’s glass may be foul due to these factors. Thus, it is necessary to
clean the glass.
Solenoid valve maintenance
After a period of usage, if flushing water becomes weaker or the valve
starts leaking, it means the solenoid valve needs to be cleaned. This task
should be done by technicians.
How to clean the solenoid valve:
Step 1: Disassemble the device’s glass and disconnect its power or battery supply.
Step 2: Disassemble the valve hose, leave the device’s front cover at dry place.
Step 3: Lock water supply for the valve.
Step 4: Disassemble the pipe which conveys water to the urinal.
Step 5: Use appropriate tool to remove the filter from the solenoid valve.
Step 6: Clean the valve filter.
Step 7: Reassemble and check the device’s feature.
Replace batteries
When the indicator light flashes every 1 second, it is time to replace batteries.
The device uses 4 Alkaline 1.5V – AA batteries.

After the preset time, the device will perform wet flush, flush duration is 2
- 5 seconds (optional). When detecting a user getting out of its sensor area,
the device will continue to cleanly flush water for 6 - 12 seconds (optional).
Within the next 45 seconds, in case of another user, it only cleanly flushes
water for 6 - 12 seconds (optional) after detecting the user getting out of
the sensor area.
If there is no other use in 45 seconds, it will automatically return to the
initial procedure. It is the smart feature to save water during use.
If there is no other use for 12 hours, it will automatically flush water to rinse
the urinal for 2 - 5 seconds (optional). This smart feature will make the
urinal absolutely clean.
25

The device does not flush or stop flushing.
Checking
The valve is installed in the opposite direction and the water supply has a lot of residue.
The solenoid valve is not connected to the controller.
If the problem is not mentioned above.
Solution
Check the valve installation based on instruction steps in the manual.
Connect the solenoid valve to the controller.
Please contact Customer Contact Center or the shop from which you purchased.
The light flashes continuously (electric valve) or the device does not work properly.
Checking
There is any obstacle in the device’s sensor area.
The device is installed on the opposite side of the mirror within 2.5 m.
The device is close to light source from incandescent lamp.
If the problem is not mentioned above.
Solution
Remove the obstacle from the sensor area.
Move the mirror because it reflects the infrared signal in the device’s
sensing component.
Adjust the direction of the light to avoid reflection towards the device or
replace an energy-saving bulb.
Please contact Customer Contact Center or the shop from which you purchased.
Problem and Solution
Problem 1
Problem 2
26

The indicator light does not flash when there is a user in the sensor area.
Checking
The power line, battery wire are not connected correctly.
A user wears full black coat or shirt (black leather jacket, black coat, etc.)
Solution
Connect the power cable, battery wire properly based on the steps in the manual.
Black absorbs infrared signals fully so please put your hand in front of the
transceiver eye so that the device flushes water.
Please contact Customer Contact Center or the shop from which you purchased.
Flushing water is too much or too little.
Checking
The device’s switches are not correctly set up based on its requirement.
The device’s switch is adjusted but flushing water is still too much.
Solution
Please refer to the mode settings in page 11 and follow the instructions to
set up the mode correctly according to users’ needs.
Please adjust pressure regulator of water supply because the water
pressure at your place is too high.
Please contact Customer Contact Center or the shop from which you purchased.

Problem 4
27

Other problems.
Checking
Technicians misplaced the distance between the valve and the urinal (too far
or too close), it is difficult to install the pipe.
Water leak at the joints occurs.
It is difficult to screw from the bottom because the performance scale is
small.
Solution
You can buy hoses at the sanitary equipment stores such as the type used
for sink, measure suitable distance, cut and install.
Please check the rubber gaskets, wrap thread seal tape (teflon tape) at the
points of screws and the rubber stopper’s slots, etc.
Short screwdrivers should be used. This type of screwdriver is sold at
mechanical appliances shops.
Problem 5
Before contacting Customer Contact Center, please read the
information in this section carefully to solve problems.
If assistance is required, please contact the shop from which you
purchased or the nearest Customer Contact Center.
You need to note the product‘s serial number down before calling
