Improper care or use of your blood pressure monitor
may result in injury, damage to the unit or ineffective
treatment. Following these instructions will ensure the
blood pressure monitor’s efcacy and long life.
GENERAL CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
• Measurement results should be discussed with
your physician or healthcare professional; never
self-diagnose or attempt treatment as this may be
dangerous
• Intended for adult use only; this device is not
approved for infant or child use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use the unit if it has any damaged parts, if
it has been submersed in water or dropped
• If any abnormality occurs, discontinue use until the
unit has been examined and repaired

swelling or bruising in some people
• If you experience any discomfort or an
abnormality occurs, stop using the device
immediately; to stop the device during operation,
press the POWER button and the cuff will
automatically deate

INTRODUCTION
It is recommended that you rst seek the advice and
recommendation of your physician or healthcare
professional when using home diagnostic devices,
including blood pressure monitors.
The Blood Pressure Monitor is digital monitors intended
for use in measuring blood pressure and heartbeat rate
with wrist circumference ranging from 5.3” to 8.4”
inches(about 13.5 – 21.5 cm). It is intended for adult
indoor use only.
Automatic digital blood pressure monitors use the
oscillometric method to electronically measure your
blood pressure. The monitor detects your blood’s
movement through the artery in your arm and converts
the movements into a digital reading. The oscillometric
method does not require a stethoscope, making the
monitor ideal for home use.
Blood pressure readings determined with this device
are equivalent to measurements obtained by a trained
healthcare professional using the cuff/stethoscope
auscultation method, within the limits prescribed by the
American National Standard for Electronic or Automated
Sphygmomanometers.

GETTING STARTED
Before taking a measurement
NOTE: THIS RECHARGEABLE DEVICE IS
‘ASLEEP’ FOR SHIPPING AND TRANSPORT.
To activate your monitor, press and hold the SET
button for several seconds. The display will illuminate
and your monitor is ready for set-up and use.
1. Your readings should only be interpreted by your
physician or healthcare professional with access
to your individual medical history. Regular use of
a home blood pressure monitor will allow you to
track and record your readings for discussion with
your physician.
2. Conduct your measurement in a quiet place while
seated in a relaxed position. Rest for 15 minutes
before taking your reading. If an error occurs or
you desire to take a second reading, allow 15
minutes between readings for your blood vessels
to return to normal.
3. Avoid smoking, eating, taking medication,
alcohol, physical activity or any other stressful
activity for 30 minutes prior to taking a reading.
4. Always remove any jewelry or constrictive clothing
that may interfere with the cuff placement.

GETTING STARTED
5. Keep yourself and the monitor still during
measuring; do not talk during the reading.
6. It is recommended that you take your readings
at the same time each day to better monitor any
indications in your results.
7. Record your daily measurement on the included
chart or some other written document to share with
your physician.

Before rst use, the device should be fully charged.
Charging time may take up to 90 minutes from
depleted battery.
1. Connect the wide end of the USB
cable to a wall adapter.
2. Connect the smaller mini USB to the
wrist monitor.
3. During charging the digital display
will show a battery ashing to
indicate the current charge level.
When the device is fully charged,
the battery symbol will be stop
ashing and remain solid on the
display.
4. Unplug the charger and stimulator when fully
charged; never operate the unit while charging.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The ‘Low Battery’
symbol will appear on
the display.
This device includes an internal rechargeable
battery within the electrical stimulator unit
and USB cable. A USB wall charger/adapter
is required for charging; not included.
It is necessary to charge the battery
when ‘Lo’ + low battery symbol
appears on the display, when the
display dims or when the display
does not illuminate.

SETTING DATE/TIME
The date/time feature is on the bottom right of the
display screen. This unit stores the date, time and year
allowing for a date/time stamp on all readings in the
memory recall function. The SET, MEM and START/
STOP buttons are located on the bottom center of the
monitor.

HOW TO SET DATE AND TIME
1. When the unit is off (a blank
display screen), press and
hold the SET button for 3-5
seconds to enter clock setting
mode.
2. HOURS/MINUTES—rst the hour will ash on
the display. Press the MEM button to advance the
display to the desired hour, press the SET button to
conrm your selection and advance to the minute
setting. Press the MEM button to advance to the
correct minute, press SET to conrm.
NOTE: the time will show PM when the set time is
PM, but the same area will be blank for AM.
3. MONTH—next the Month will ash on the
display. Press the MEM button to advance the
display to the desired month, press the SET button
to conrm your selection and advance to the date
settings.
4. DATE—repeat the same sequence of step 2 to
conrm the MONTH.
5. YEAR—repeat the same sequence of step 2 to
conrm the YEAR.
6. After conrming YEAR, the LCD will display
“dONE” and then shut off.

FITTING AND APPLYING YOUR CUFF
PROPER CUFF FIT AND PLACEMENT IS
CRITICAL IN OBTAINING ACCURATE BLOOD
PRESSURE MEASUREMENTS. PLEASE READ
THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND
CONSIDER CONSULTING WITH YOUR
PHYSICIAN FOR FURTHER DIRECTION.
Before applying your blood pressure cuff, be sure your
wrist is within the appropriate cuff range:
Wrist Circumference Range Suitable for 5.3” – 8.4”
(13.5 cm – 21.5 cm).
Reminder, it is important to avoid smoking, eating,
taking medication, alcohol consumption or physical
activity 30 minutes prior to taking a reading.
If for any reason you are unable to or cannot not use
your left wrist, please modify the instructions for cuff
application to your right wrist. Your physician can
help you identify which wrist is best for you to take
measurements from.
Applying Your Cuff
1. Remove any
constrictive clothing
or jewelry that may
interfere with cuff
placement.

2. Be seated at a table or desk
with your feet at on the
oor.
3. Hold your left arm in front of
you with your palm facing
upward.
4. Apply the cuff to your left
wrist so that the digital
display face is positioned on
the inside area of your wrist
facing you, Fig. 1.
5. Adjust the cuff approximately
0.5” from the edge of the
head of the ulna bone, Fig.
2.
6. The cuff should t
comfortably, yet snugly
around your wrist.
If you are not comfortable with applying your cuff,
please seek the assistance of another member of your
household or work with your physician to practice the
cuff application. Incorrectly applied cuffs may result in
inaccurate readings.

TAKING YOUR BP READING
Please read the preceding portions of this manual
prior to taking your rst reading.
Reminder: It is important to avoid smoking, eating,
taking medication, alcohol consumption or physical
activity 30 minutes prior to taking a reading.
Select the desired user, 1 or 2,
before measurement.
The user icon displayed represents the
memory bank where the measurement result
will be stored.
1. When the monitor is OFF, press and
hold the MEM button. The display will
illuminate and the current user, 1 or 2, will
ash on the display.
2. Press MEM again to toggle between user
1 or 2.
3. Press SET to conrm the selection.

Taking the measurement.
1. Rest your elbow on a solid
surface with your palm
facing upward. Elevate
your arm so that the cuff is
at the same level as your
heart, Fig 1. Be certain
that cuff is elevated to the
proper level; you may
choose to support your
hand with a folded towel or
book. Relax your left hand. Be
seated with your feet at on the
oor and legs uncrossed.
2. Press and release the START/
STOP button, the unit will run a
self-test, Fig. 2.
3. As the ination begins, the
display will briey show 0.
4. The cuff will automatically inate
until the reading is detected. You
will see the numbers increase on
the screen and feel the cuff inate
slowly.

DEFLATION PROCESS AT ANY TIME BY
PRESSING THE START/STOP BUTTON.
5. When the measurement
is complete, the cuff will
automatically deate, and your
blood pressure measurement
and pulse reading results will
show on the display screen, Fig
3.
6. The Hypertension Indicator
will indicate your reading
range on the left display
in comparison to the
color bars on the face of
the monitor, Fig 4. See
page 23 for information
regarding interpreting the
Hypertension Indicator
results.

7. If an irregular heartbeat was
detected during the reading,
the Irregular Heartbeat Detector
symbol will appear on the
display, Fig 5.
See page 22 for more
information on the Irregular
Heartbeat Detector feature.
8. The reading will automatically
be stored in memory, up to 60
readings.
9. Press the START/STOP button
to turn the unit off to conserve
energy and battery life. The
unit will also automatically shutoff after 1 minute of non-use.

Irregular Heartbeat Detector
An irregular heartbeat is dened as a heartbeat
rhythm that is more than 25% slower or 25% faster
than the average measurement detected while the
monitor is conducting the measurement. When this
device detects an irregular rhythm two or more times
during the reading, the IHB symbol will appear on the
display screen.
This monitor will operate if the icon appears, but the
results may be compromised, especially if this symbol
appears often. Please consult with your physician or
trained healthcare professional for further information
regarding an irregular heartbeat and if this symbol
appears frequently.

INTERPRETING YOUR READING
Hypertension Indicator
This unit features our unique
Hypertension Indicator. The color
bars on the left side of the monitor
display correspond with an icon
on the digital display, indicating
where the measurement results fall
within the American Heart
Association standards.
This chart should only be considered as a guideline;
always consult with your physician to interpret your
individual results. Never adjust your medication(s)
dosage, or severely alter your diet or exercise routine
without consulting with your physician.

MEMORY FUNCTIONS
Recalling Measurements in Memory
1. Press the MEM button; the display will show the
average of the last three measurements in that
memory bank, Fig 1.
2. Press the MEM button again
to begin scrolling through
the saved measurements.
Measurements will appear on
the display from most current
to oldest; the date / time
shown will indicate when the
measurement was taken.
This monitor stores and recalls up to 60 readings per
user. These measurements can be shared with your
physician or trained healthcare professional.
Select the desired user, 1 or 2, for review.

Clearing Measurements
From Memory
To delete a all results in a given
bank:
1. When the monitor is off, press
and release the MEM button to
access the memory bank feature.
2. Press and hold both the MEM
and SET buttons for 3 seconds.
3. The display will show ‘dEL’ and
‘dONE’, Fig 3.
4. The memory bank is now empty,
Fig 4, and the monitor will turn
off.

Proper care and maintenance of your blood pressure
monitor will help ensure long life for the product;
improper use of the monitor may void the included
warranty.
Monitor Care and Maintenance
• Do not use any liquids on the monitor; use a soft,
dry cloth to clean the monitor as needed
• Storage outside of stated storage temperature may
result in measurement error or device malfunction;
storage environment temperature is: -4°F – 140°F
(-20°C – 60°C); Humidity: 10%RH to 93%RH (noncondensing)
• Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight
• Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for
an extended period of time
• Do not attempt to disassemble your monitor;
disassembling your monitor may void the
manufacturers warranty
• Do not subject the monitor to strong shocks; take
care not to drop the monitor
• No component can be maintained by user in
the monitor. The circuit diagrams, component
part lists, descriptions, calibrations instructions,
or other information which will assist the user’s
appropriately qualied technical personnel
to repair those parts of equipment which are
designated repairable can be supplied

Cuff Care and Maintenance
• The cuff may be spot cleaned with a mild-detergent
as needed
• Never attempt to iron or dry the cuff; if the cuff
becomes wet, allow the cuff to air dry completely
before use or storage
• To disinfect the cuff, wipe the inside (skin contact
side) of the cuff using a cloth lightly moistened with
70% - 90% ethyl rubbing alcohol and allow to air
dry; it is suggested to disinfect the cuff frequently
when used in clinical sittings or if the cuff is
contaminated in any way.
• It is recommended the performance should be
checked every 2 years or after a repair. Please
contact customer care at 866-326-1313.
• It is recommended to clean the cuff every 200
uses.
• The monitor can maintain the safety and
performance characteristics for a minimum of
10,000 measurements of three years.
• The cuff integrity is maintained after 1,000 openclose cycles of the closure.

Congratulations on your purchase of a Digital Blood Pressure
Monitor. Your Digital Blood Pressure Monitor is covered by the
following limited warranty commencing upon the date of purchase,
and subject to the following terms and conditions:
The Warranter warrants that its Digital Blood Pressure Monitor
will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under
normal consumer usage for the life of the product for the original
purchaser.
Periodic maintenance, repair and replacement of parts due to
normal wear and tear are excluded from coverage. Defects or
damage that result from: (a) improper operation, storage, misuse
or abuse, accident or neglect, such as physical damage (cracks,
scratches, etc.) to the surface of the product resulting from misuse;
(b) contact with liquid, water, rain, extreme humidity or heavy
perspiration, sand, dirt or the like, extreme heat, or food; (c) use
of the Digital Blood Pressure Monitor for commercial purposes or
subjecting the Digital Blood Pressure Monitor to abnormal usage
or conditions; or (d) other acts which are not the fault of the
Warranter, are excluded from coverage. This warranty does not
cover batteries or other power sources that may be provided with,
or used with the Digital Blood Pressure Monitor.
If the Digital Blood Pressure Monitor fails to conform to this limited
warranty, return the Digital Blood Pressure Monitor postage
prepaid to: Attn: Repair Department, 1175 Lakeside
Drive, Gurnee, IL, 60031. When returning a product, please
also include: (i) a copy of your receipt, bill of sale or other
comparable proof of purchase; (ii) a written description of the
problem; and (iii) your name, address and telephone number.
Carefully package the product to avoid any damage that may
occur while in transit; shipping insurance with returned receipt is
recommended. At our option, the Warranter will repair or replace
the unit found to be defective in materials or workmanship under
normal consumer usage. The purchaser will be notied of any
additional repairs required prior to completing the repair, and will

INTRODUCCIÓN
Se recomienda que usted primero busca el consejo y la
recomendación de su médico o profesional de cuidados
médicos cuando utilice dispositivos de diagnóstico en el
hogar, incluidos monitores de presión arterial.
El monitor de la presión arterial es monitores digitales
previstos para el uso en tarifa de medición de la presión
arterial y del latido del corazón con la circunferencia de la
muñeca que se extiende a partir del 5.3 “ a 8.4 “ pulgadas
(cerca de 13.5 – 21.5 cm). Se piensa para el uso de interior
adulto solamente.
Los monitores automáticos digitales de presión arterial
emplean el método oscilométrico para medir la presión
arterial electrónicamente. El monitor detecta el movimiento
de la sangre por la arteria de su brazo y convierte dichos
movimientos en una lectura digital. El método oscilométrico
no requiere de un estetoscopio; con lo cual, el equipo resulta
ideal para uso doméstico.
Las lecturas de la presión arterial determinadas con este
dispositivo son equivalentes a las mediciones obtenidas por
un profesional de cuidados médicos capacitado mediante el
método de auscultación con brazalete/estetoscopio, dentro
de los límites prescritos por la norma nacional estadounidense
para esgmomanómetros electrónicos o automatizados
(American National Standard for Electronic or automated
Sphygmomanometers).

CÓMO COMENZAR
Antes de tomarse la presión
NOTA: ESTE DISPOSITIVO RECARGABLE
ESTÁ ‘DURMIENDO’ PARA EL ENVÍO Y
TRANSPORTE.
Para activar al monitor, pulse y mantenga
pulsado el botón SET durante varios segundos.
La pantalla se iluminará y el monitor está listo
para la instalación y uso.
1. Sus lecturas sólo deben ser interpretadas por su
médico o profesional de cuidados médicos con
acceso a su historia clínica individual. El uso
periódico de un monitor en el hogar le permitirá
rastrear y registrar sus lecturas para comentarlas
con su médico.
2. Tómese la presión en un lugar tranquilo y sentado
en una posición relajada. Descanse durante
15 minutos antes de tomarse la presión. Si se
produce un error o si desea tomar una segunda
lectura, deje transcurrir 15 minutos entre lecturas
para que sus vasos sanguíneos se normalicen.
3. Evite fumar, comer, tomar medicación, beber
alcohol, hacer actividad física o cualquier otra
actividad estresante 30 minutos antes de tomarse
la presión.

4. Quítese siempre las joyas o indumentaria
apretada que pudiere interferir en la colocación
del brazalete.
5. Manténgase quieto usted y el monitor durante la
medición; no hable durante la lectura.
6. Se recomienda tomarse la presión a la misma
hora todos los días para controlar mejor las
indicaciones en sus resultados.
7. Registre su medición diaria en la planilla que se
incluye o en algún otro documento escrito para
compartirla con su médico.

Antes de usar el dispositivo por primera vez
deberá cargarlo completamente. La carga
puede tomar hasta 90 minutos desde el
momento en que se agota la batería.
1. Conecte el extremo ancho del cable
USB a un adaptador de pared.
2. Conecte el mini USB más pequeño
al monitor de muñeca.
3. Durante la carga, el monitor digital
mostrará una batería que titila
para indicar el nivel de carga
actual. Cuando el dispositivo esté
completamente cargado, el símbolo
de batería dejará de titilar y
permanecerá sólido en la pantalla.
4. Desenchufe el cargador y el
estimulador cuando la carga esté
completa; nunca utilice la unidad mientras
se está cargando.
Es necesario cargar la batería cuando
aparece el símbolo de poca batería
(“Lo +”) en la pantalla, cuando la luz
de la pantalla se desvanece o cuando
ésta no se ilumina.
CARGA DE LA BATERÍA
Este dispositivo incluye una batería interna
recargable dentro de la unidad del estimulador
eléctrico y un cable USB. Para cargarlo se necesita un
cargador/adaptador USB de pared (no está incluido).

La función fecha/hora se encuentra en la esquina
inferior derecha de la pantalla. Esta unidad guarda
la fecha, la hora y el año; esto permite colocar la
fecha y hora en todas las lecturas de la función
recordatorio de memoria. Los botones de SET (jar),
MEM (memoria) y START/STOP (inicio/alto) están
ubicados en el centro inferior del monitor.

CÓMO FIJAR LA FECHA Y HORA
1. Cuando la unidad esté apagada (pantalla del
visor está en blanco), oprima y mantenga pulsado
el botón de SET (jar)durante 3 a 5 segundos
para congurar el modo reloj.
2. HORAS/MINUTOS—primero titilará la hora
en la pantalla Oprima el botón MEM para
desplazarse hasta la hora que desea, presione
el botón SET [jar] para conrmar la selección
y continúe con la conguración de los minutos.
Oprima el botón MEM para desplazarse hasta
el minuto correcto y oprima SET (jar) para
conrmar.
NOTA: la hora mostrará PM cuando la hora se
haya jado en PM, pero la misma área estará en
blanco para AM.
3. MONTH (MES)—luego el Mes titilará en
la pantalla. Oprima el botón MEM para
desplazarse hasta la hora que desea, presione
el botón SET (jar) para conrmar la selección y
continúe con la conguración de los minutos.
4. DATE (FECHA)—repita la misma secuencia del
paso 2 para conrmar el MES.
5. YEAR (AÑO)—repita la misma secuencia del
paso 2 para conrmar el AÑO.
6. Después de conrmar el AÑO, la pantalla LCD
indicará “dONE” (listo) y luego se apagará.

INDICACIONES Y CONSULTECON SU MÉDICO
PARA MÁS INSTRUCCIONES.
Antes de colocarse el brazalete de presión arterial,
asegúrese de que la muñeca esté dentro del rango de
brazalete correspondiente. Rango de circunferencia
de muñeca adecuado para: 5.3” – 8.4” (13.5 cm –
21.5 cm).
Recuerde: es importante evitar fumar, comer, tomar
medicación, beber alcohol o realizar actividad física
30 minutos antes de tomarse la presión.
Si, por cualquier motivo, usted no puede o no debe
usar la muñeca izquierda, modique las instrucciones
para colocación del brazalete en la muñeca derecha.
Su médico puede ayudarlo a identicar la muñeca
que le resulte mejor para tomarse la presión.

6. El brazalete debe sentirse
cómodo, aunque ajustado,
alrededor de la muñeca.
Si no se siente cómodo al colocarse el brazalete,
procure la ayuda de otro integrante de la familia o
practique la colocación del brazalete con su médico.
La colocación incorrecta del brazalete dará como
resultado lecturas inexactas.

Lea las partes precedentes de este manual antes de
tomarse la presión arterial por primera vez.
Recuerde: es importante evitar fumar, comer, tomar
medicación, beber alcohol o realizar actividad física
30 minutos antes de tomarse la presión.
Seleccione el usuario que desea, 1
o 2, antes de la medición.
El ícono de usuario que aparece representa el
banco de memoria en el cual se guardará el
resultado de la medición.
1. Cuando el monitor esté en OFF
(apagado), presione y mantenga pulsado
el botón de memoria MEM. La pantalla se
iluminará y el usuario actual, 1 o 2, titilará
en la pantalla.
2. Oprima MEM nuevamente para
desplazarse entre usuario 1 o 2.
3. Oprima el botón SET (jar) para conrmar
la selección.

Cómo realizar la medición
1. Apoye el codo en una
supercie plana con la
palma de la mano hacia
arriba. Eleve su brazo de
manera que el brazalete
quede a la misma altura
de su corazón, Fig. 1.
Verique que el brazalete
esté elevado a la altura
correcta; puede optar por
sostener la mano con una toalla
doblada o un libro. Relaje su
mano izquierda. Siéntese con
los pies apoyados al ras sobre
el suelo y las piernas sin cruzar.
2. Oprima y libere el botón
START/STOP (inicio/alto). La
unidad hará una auto-prueba,

3. Cuando comienza el proceso de inado, en
la pantalla aparecerá brevemente el 0.
4. El brazalete se inará automáticamente
hasta que se detecte una lectura. Usted verá
que los números aumentan en la pantalla y
sentirá que el brazalete se ina lentamente.

5. Cuando la medición esté completa, el brazalete

6. El indicador de hipertensión
indicará el rango de su lectura
a la izquierda de la pantalla
en comparación con las barras
de colores en el frente del
monitor, Fig. 4. Consulte en

7. Si durante la lectura se
detecta un ritmo cardíaco
irregular, en la pantalla
aparecerá el símbolo de

8. La lectura se almacenará de
manera automática en la
memoria (hasta 60 lecturas).

Un ritmo cardíaco irregular se dene como un ritmo
cardíaco 25% más lento o 25% más rápido que la
medición promedio detectada mientras el monitor
lleva a cabo la medición. Cuando este dispositivo
detecta un ritmo cardíaco irregular en dos o más
ocasiones durante la lectura, aparecerá el símbolo IHB
en la pantalla.
Este monitor operará si aparece el icono, pero los
resultados podrían verse afectados, especialmente
si dicho símbolo aparece con mucha frecuencia.

FUNCIÓN DE MEMORIA
Cómo consultar mediciones
previas en la memoria
1. Oprima el botón MEM; la
pantalla mostrará el promedio de
las tres últimas mediciones en ese
banco de memoria, Fig 1.
Este monitor almacena y recuerda hasta 60
lecturas por usuario. Usted puede compartir estas
mediciones con su médico o su profesional de la salud
capacitado.
Seleccione el usuario que desea, 1 o 2, para
su revisión.
El ícono de usuario que aparece representa el
banco de memoria en el cual se guardan los
resultados de las mediciones.
1. Cuando el monitor esté en OFF (apagado),
presione y mantenga pulsado el botón de
memoria MEM. La pantalla se iluminará y el
usuario actual, 1 o 2, titilará en la pantalla.
2. Oprima MEM nuevamente para desplazarse entre
usuario 1 o 2.
3. Oprima el botón SET (jar) para conrmar la
selección.
Proceda a los pasos de recordatorio que se describen
a continuación.

2. Oprima el botón MEM nuevamente para comenzar
a desplazarse a través de las mediciones que
ha guardado. Las mediciones aparecerán en
la pantalla desde la más reciente hasta la más
antigua; la fecha/hora que
aparece indicará cuándo se tomó
la medición.
3. Aparecerán todos los resultados
para una determinada medición,
incluidos los resultados de la
medición, la frecuencia del pulso,
el indicador de hipertensión y
la alerta de ritmos cardíacos
irregulares (si corresponde), Fig. 2.
4. Después de la lectura número 60, el registro más
antiguo se eliminará de la memoria y en su lugar se
guardará el registro nuevo.
5. Presione START/STOP (potencia) para apagar el
monitor en cualquier momento durante la revisión
de las mediciones almacenadas.

Cómo borrar las mediciones de
la memoria
Cómo borrar todos los resultados de
un banco:
1. Cuando la unidad está en OFF
(APAGADA), presione y suelte el
botón M para acceder al banco
de memoria.
2. Presione y mantenga presionado
el botón MEM (memoria) y SET
(jar) durante 3 segundos.

El cuidado y mantenimiento adecuados del
tensiómetro garantizarán la vida útil prolongada del
producto; el uso inadecuado puede anular la garantía
incluida.
Desconecte siempre el brazalete y el tubo del
tensiómetro antes de su limpieza y almacenamiento.
Cuidado y mantenimiento del tensiómetro
• No use ningún líquido sobre el tensiómetro; para
limpiarlo use un paño suave y seco.
• Si la unidad se guarda a temperaturas diferentes
a las indicadas, se puede producir un error en la
medición o el malfuncionamiento del dispositivo;
la temperatura ambiente de almacenamiento
es: -4 °F – 140 °F (-20 °C – 60 °C); humedad:
10%RH to 93%RH
• Evite las temperaturas altas y la luz directa del sol.
• Mantenga siempre la unidad desenchufada
cuando no está en uso; retire las baterías si no la
va a usar durante un período prolongado
• No intente desarmar el tensiómetro; esto podría
anular la garantía de los fabricantes.
• No exponga el tensiómetro a golpes fuertes;
tenga cuidado de no dejarlo caer.
• El usuario no puede realizar el mantenimiento de
ningún componente del tensiómetro. Se podrán

proporcionar los diagramas de circuito, las listas
de partes, descripciones, instrucciones para
calibración u otra información que pueda ayudar
al personal técnico debidamente calicado del
usuario a reparar las partes del equipo que

Cuidado y mantenimiento del brazalete
El brazalete no se debe sumergir ni lavar en el
lavarropas, pero si es necesario se puede limpiar
con detergente suave.
• Nunca intente planchar o secar el brazalete; si se
moja séquelo al aire libre por completo antes de
usarlo o guardarlo.
• No intente retirar el tubo ni la bolsa del brazalete
de nylon para no dañar el brazalete.
• Tenga cuidado de no hacer fuerza para no doblar
ni torcer los tubos durante el almacenamiento.
• Para desinfectar el brazalete, limpie el interior
(el lado que está en contacto con la piel) con un
paño ligeramente humedecido con alcohol etílico
al 70 % - 90 % y deje secar al aire; le sugerimos
que desinfecte el brazalete con frecuencia cuando
se lo usa en sesiones clínicas o si se contamina
por algún motivo.

cada 2 años o después de una reparación.

Arterial Automático Digital. Su Monitor de Para la Presión Arterial
Automático Digital está cubierto por la siguiente garantía limitada a
partir de la fecha de compra y está sujeto a los siguientes términos y
condiciones:
El warrantor garantiza que su Monitor de Para la Presión Arterial
Automático Digital estará libre de defectos en materiales y mano
de obra bajo el uso normal del consumidor por el tiempo que el
comprador original sea propietario del producto.
Se excluyen de la cobertura el mantenimiento periódico, las
reparaciones y el reemplazo de partes debidos al desgaste normal.
Los defectos o daños que resulten de: (a) la operación incorrecta, el

o negligencia, como el daño físico (grietas, raspones, etc.) en la

por favor incluya además: (i) una copia de su recibo, factura u
otro comprobante de compra; (ii) una descripción por escrito del
problema; y (iii) su nombre, dirección y número telefónico. Embale
cuidadosamente el producto para evitar daños mientras está en
tránsito; se recomienda contratar un seguro de envío con acuse de
recibo. Según lo que elija, de warrantor reparará o reemplazará la
