Welcome and thank you for trying SmartCigs™ ! Please read this user manual before starting to use your
products to ensure correct usage and maximum enjoyment.
The SmartCigs™ electronic cigarette is a state of the art way to smoke. A nicotine solution is heated into a
vapour by an atomizer, allowing the user to inhale what looks and feels just like smoke.
SmartCigs™ create a range of products with dierent strengths of nicotine, we also oer blank cartridges
with the nicotine solution in the form of a juice for you to add to the cartomizers. This way you can
monitor and choose the levels of nicotine you wish to inhale.
SmartCigs™ provide the most realistic smoking experience without any cigarette smoke or oensive
odours, and it is not subject to most smoking bans. You now have the freedom to smoke almost
anywhere you want.

Technology
Your SmartCigs™ electronic cigarette uses the latest cutting-edge technology consisting of a
rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and a vapour cartomizer (lter) which has an inbuilt atomizer. Every
time you replace the cartomizer, you get the bonus of a new atomizer built in.
This fresh atomizer prevents clogging that can reduce vapour volume over time. The vapour cartomizer
contains enough solution for up to 230 approx pus (based on pu size and smoking style).
One electronic cigarette compares to a whole pack of traditional tobacco cigarettes!

• Remove cartomizer from the blister packaging and the rubber ends from the cartomizer, then screw
the cartomizer onto the battery in a clockwise direction. The cartomizer will screw on easily when
you line-up the threads; forcing or screwing too tightly can damage the contents components.
• To start using your automatic SmartCigs™ battery, take 3 short pus to warm up the atomizer.
Continue use of your electronic cigarette, allowing several seconds between pus. For manual
batteries you will need to depress the button to activate the atomizer for the length of the inhale.
Release when nished to avoid wastage.
• The LED at the far end of the battery will light up and will glow either red or blue whilst you inhale.
• When you stop inhaling, the E-Cig will automatically go into standby mode until your next pu.
• Please note the cartomizer avours lose their strength if left open for more than two weeks.
Occasional users are advised to store their cartomizer in the rubber caps that are provided.

Alternatively , connect USB to Wall Charger.

The LED indicator light at the tip of the battery (where the lit end would be on a traditional tobacco
cigarette) will start ashing when the battery has run out of charge. You may also need to recharge the
battery when there is a noticeable reduction in vapour. Follow these simple steps to charge your battery;
• Unscrew the cartomizer from the battery and screw the battery into the USB charger.
• Plug the USB charger into a USB port on a computer or into a USB adapter such as a SmartCigs™
wall plug or car charger. Warning: only for use with a SmartCigs™ approved charger.
• A red light on the wall charger indicates the charger is connected to power. When your battery is
charging the LED light on the USB connector will glow red. When the battery is fully charged, this
LED light will glow green.
• Charge for 3-4 hours. Please note that the batteries are shipped with a partial charge, therefore do
not exceed the rst charge for more than 2-3 hours.

Last? How Many Times Can I Re-Charge My E-Cig
Battery?
All batteries have a nite life span or maximum
charge cycle. The electronic cigarettes battery
will last for around 300 charges.
Can I Really Smoke My Electronic Cigarette In
The Pub/ Restaurant/ Public Place?
Yes! At present there are no laws against using
the e-cigarette in public places. However due to
public ignorance and general lack of awareness
the E-Cig user may nd themselves having to
explain what they are doing is not harmful to
others!

When switching from traditional cigarettes to

strengths until you nd what’s right for you.

How Long Does A Flavour Cartridge Last?
One SmartCigs

cartridge lasts depends on your smoking style. You
will know when a cartridge needs to be replaced
because the vapour will diminish and you will
begin to taste a burnt avour. Simply screw o the

Troubleshooting
The Light Is Flashing When You Inhale:
The battery charge is running low. Unscrew the cartomizer and screw the battery into your USB charger
to re-charge.
The E-Cigarette Produces Little Or No Vapour Or Is Producing A Burnt Smell:
You must replace the cartomizer.
The E-Cigarette Is Still Producing Little Or No Vapour:
Shake the cartomizer and clean the battery and cartomizer connections to help the electrical connection.
Your Battery Still Does Not Produce Vapour After A New Cartridge:
Try another cartomizer and battery, although rare, cartridge and battery defects are possible. Please do
not hesitate to call our helpline on 01622 851436.
Your E-Cig Is Not Lighting Up:
Ensure that the cartridges do not have rubber caps on.

What Do I Do If There Is A Fault With My Product?
Please call customer services for help with the
problem and our trained sta will oer full
assistance. If asked to return a product, download
an RMA form from our website, ll it out ensuring
all your details are current and correct. Then simply
enclose the faulty product in an envelope and
send back to us. We will test the faulty product and
repair or replace where necessary.
How Does The E-Cig Work?
SmartCigs™ are made up of a small rechargeable
battery, a unique, safe, replaceable cartridge
containing propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin,
nicotine and natural avours that emulate tobacco
and other avourings. When you inhale, you
activate the atomizer, this releases simulated
smoke (water vapour).
