Instructions

1. Attach Antennas to the back of the CradlePoint Router.

2. Plug in the CradlePoint Power Adaptor (labeled with a White Sticker) into the CradlePoint Power Adaptor port.

3. Make sure the CradlePoint Power Switch is in the on position (solid line). Plug the other end of the Power Adaptor into a standard

110V AC wall outlet or power strip.

4. Wait until the blue antenna signal lights up and stays on. This can take up to 5 minutes. The amount of lights represents your signal
strength.

5. Plug the Orange Ethernet Cable into the Ruckus PoE Injector Port labeled Network.

6. Connect the other end of the Orange Ethernet Cable to the open LAN port on the front of the CradlePoint Router.

7. Plug the other Orange Ethernet Cable into the Ruckus PoE Injector Port labeled AP/Bridge.

8. Plug the other end of the Orange Ethernet Cable to the port labeled 10/100/1000 PoE on the back of the Ruckus Access Point.

9. Plug the PoE Injector Power Adaptor into a standard 110V AC wall outlet or power strip.

10. Plug the other end of PoE Injector Power Adaptor in to the PoE Injector Power Adaptor Port.

11. Wait 2 minutes while the Ruckus Access Point begins to broadcast the WiFi signal.

12. Using your device’s wireless network connection program, find and connect to the network named “Slice WiFi”.

13. Type in the password “sliceitup”.

14. If successful, you should now be able to surf the web.

For Hard-Wired Connections

15. Connect the Blue Network Cable to one of the ports labeled 10/100 on the back of the Ruckus Access Point. Connect the other end

of the cable to the Ethernet port on your computer. Y

Troubleshooting

• If you lose connectivity, first check to make sure everything is plugged in correctly. Next, unplug the router’s power adaptor, wait 20
seconds, then plug it back in. Wait 2 minutes for the router to initialize and connect to the Internet.

• Some cell phone and mobile broadband “dead zones” exist indoors. To help improve CradlePoint signal strength and speed, you may
have to reposition the CradlePoint away from an obstruction (like a wall or pillar). To check your speed, visit: www.speedtest.net

CradlePoint service Tech support calls for malfunctioning equipment provided by Slice Managed Solutions will not be billable to the client.
All other tech support calls will be billable. Billable time will be automatically charged to the client’s credit card on file.

Returning Your Internet Kit

To avoid late charges, we ask that you please return your Internet Kit to a FedEx location no later than 1 business day after your rental.

B. Put the carrying case in a sealed cardboard shipping box to prevent damage during shipping.
C. Place the prepaid FedEx Return Shipping Label on the shipping box.*
D. Call FedEx at [phone] to arrange for a pickup or drop off at a FedEx location. **

* If you do not have a FedEx Return Shipping Label, please contact us to make other arrangements.
** Please note that you will be responsible for the package until it is scanned by FedEx.
