NOTE: The entire Remote Key Injection (RKI) process is managed by EFTPOS
New Zealand when terminals are sent in for key loading. To remotely download the keys to the terminal, program the terminal for Dial up connection and then simply initiate a logon to download the keys and establish connectivity with the ANZ host.
If the message ‘RKI INIT REQUIRED’ appears at attempted logon, then refer to
page 33 for instructions to perform RKI, then proceed to logon terminal.

Broadband Connectivity
NOTE: Before installing an Ingenico 5100 into a site requiring broadband
connectivity to the ANZ host, contact EFTPOS New Zealand on 0800 338 767 with the site’s Static IP address so that the necessary access permission can be enabled by EFTPOS New Zealand.
Internet Service Provider (ISP)
When the broadband internet is installed on the site, the Internet Service Provider (ISP) assigns a Static IP address on their end to enable the site to obtain connectivity to the Internet. This Static IP address will be required by EFTPOS New Zealand from the site to enable access to their switch for transacting.
Merchant
The Ingenico 5100 can be configured to operate via Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) or Static IP address depending on the router connectivity configuration.
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
By standard practice the router is enabled for DHCP connectivity which automatically assigns the IP address to any devices connected to the router.
Static Address
If DHCP is not enabled on the router, the merchant will have to acquire a Static IP address from their Internet Service Provider (ISP). This Static IP address will need to be programmed into the terminal to enable broadband connectivity to the ANZ host.
NOTE: This Static IP address will be different from the one that is assigned from the Telco/ISP end to allow the site to access the internet.
The diagram below depicts the broadband communication link from merchant to acquirer.

This parameter sets up the way that the terminal dials. Select the mode by pressing the corresponding number key.
1 = Tone - is the default setting.
In the default dial mode setting 1 (Tone), the terminal uses DTMF tones to dial the number, but only after detecting a valid NZ dial tone. If a valid dial tone isn’t detected, “Transmission Error” will be displayed.
2 = Pulse Dial – this comms setting is used for the older PABX systems and is rarely used nowadays.
3 = Blind Dial – this is the same as Tone dial, however the modem ignores the health of the dial tone on the line and simply dials the configured phone number to call the host. This is used where the quality of the dial tone is low.
Press ENTER to bypass if no PABX prefix is required.
This parameter specifies the PABX numbers that the terminal dials to access an outside line.
Note: The terminal pauses for 1 second after dialling if a control character ‘A’ is inserted after the PABX number. To insert a control character ‘A’, press the corresponding number key 2 and then the FUNC key.
This parameter specifies the Phone number of the ENZ Host.
Press ENTER.
Terminal prompts to save configuration. Press ENTER to save configuration on the terminal or press CLEAR to exit and return to idle screen.

network.

ENTER.
5.1.1 Pending Reversal
Prior to removing a terminal from a merchant’s site, or reprogramming it with a new merchant ID, it is important to perform a logon to ensure there are no pending reversals stored on the terminal.
To clear any pending reversals stored on the terminal, simply initiate a merchant logon.
Stored pending reversals must be cleared from the terminal in order that all stored transaction data can be processed through the host.
Until stored pending reversals are cleared, it will not be possible to add new merchant details or change existing details. However, the comms mode can be changed to allow connectivity to ANZ network to logon and clear pending reversal from the terminal.

5.10.2 Hospitality Completion Transaction
This transaction is a Purchase completion, which provides notification that the authorised purchase has completed. By utilising this combination of transactions, the merchant is provided with the ability to make an authorisation for the anticipated end value that approves the validity of the card and availability of funds. The approval and other transaction details are stored in the memory of the terminal for later use. Use of a parameter to recall the pre-authorised transaction in the terminal creates a completion message without necessarily requiring their customer to present their card again.

6.3 NEW FEATURES OF THE TERMINAL
6.3.1 DECLINED ALERT
To notify the merchant of a declined transaction the terminal will beep, displaying ‘declined’ and a receipt will not be printed until the merchant presses enter.
6.3.2 ONE OR TWO PIECE UNIT
The Ingenico 5100 can function as either an IPP terminal or as an EPP terminal with the i3010 pinpad attached. This dual functionality allows a merchant to simply unplug a failed pinpad, re-boot the terminal and continue processing transactions until the pinpad can be replaced.
6.3.3 FULL MESSAGE ENCRYPTION
Merchants and cardholders can have confidence in the benefits of increased security standards with full message encryption, allowing the secure transmission of EFTPOS transactions across wireless or internet communications links.
6.3.4 BROADBAND CONNECTIVITY
The Ingenico 5100 terminal allows the choice of TCP/IP communications with the Eftpos NZ host. To enable TCP/IP connectivity with the ENZ host, broadband access must be arranged prior to installing the terminal.
Contact EFTPOS New Zealand on 0800 338 767 to ensure broadband connectivity is activated for the merchant site.
