THE SKYWELL MISSION
Our goal is simple: To change the way people think about drinking water through the use of a revolutionary technology that creates fresh, clean drinking water from the air.
Utilizing your new Skywell not only results in fewer plastic bottles in the ocean and landfills, but it also represents a more socially responsible way to access your drinking water.
HOW THE SKYWELL WORKS
Your Skywell uses a fan to draw the ambient moist air into the unit where it passes through a chilled evaporator coil that cools the air to below the dew point, at which point the air is no longer able to hold its moisture. The resulting condensation is collected in a tank at the bottom of the Skywell and purified utilizing a proprietary filtration system, UV light treatment and ozone protection.

QUICK SETUP AND INSTALLATION
To reduce risk of injury and/or property damage, please read the
Skywell User Manual in its entirety before assembling, installing and operating the Skywell. Failure to follow the instructions in the Skywell User Manual could cause
personal injury or property damage.
Excessive Weight Hazard. Use two or more people to unpack, move
and install the Skywell. Always use 2 people to move the Skywell.
Unpack the Skywell and recycle the box.
Find the perfect spot for your Skywell on a hard level surface. It should have 8 inches of space,
in each direction, away from walls or furniture to ensure proper airflow and operation.
Plug the Skywell into a standard 3-prong grounded outlet. Turn on the Skywell at the on/off switch located on the rear of the Skywell where the power cord enters the unit. Let the Skywell begin making water. The unit may require at least 24 hours to generate a full tank.
We recommend that you break-in the water filters to avoid any taste inconsistency in your first few gallons of Skywell-generated water. See page 6 for instructions (Water Filter Break-in Prior to Use).
The drip tray may be removed and installed without opening the front door. The drip tray cover
may be removed to clean the drip tray. When reinstalling the drip tray, insert it downward securing it into its docked position below the dispense point.
The Skywell should be upright for at least 4 hours prior to plugging it
into the electrical wall outlet. Plugging in shortly after the Skywell has been on its
side can damage the compressor.
NOTE: AFTER WATER GENERATION, IT MAY TAKE 90 MINUTES FOR COLD WATER TO REACH ITS COLDEST TEMPERATURE.
KEY SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
Plug the Skywell plug into a standard 3-prong grounded AC 120V,
60Hz outlet ONLY. Consult with an electrician if necessary.
The Skywell dispenses water as hot as 203° Farenheit (95° Celsius).
Use caution when dispensing hot water and do not allow children to dispense hot water without proper and direct adult supervision.
If you have a question or a problem, please contact
1-844-SKY-WELL(759-9355) or email service@skywell.com for assistance.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Ensure you read the Skywell User Manual in its entirety before
installing and operating the Skywell for the first time.
When operating the Skywell, always exercise basic safety precautions including, but
not limited to, the following:
1. Prior to use, the Skywell must be properly assembled and installed in accordance with the Skywell User Manual.
2. The Skywell is intended for water dispensing only. Do NOT use other liquids. Do NOT use for other purposes. The Limited Warranty is void if used to dispense any other liquids.
3. For indoor use only. Keep the Skywell in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Do NOT use outdoors.
4. Install and use only on a hard, flat and level surface.
5. Do NOT place the Skywell in an enclosed space or cabinet.
6. Do NOT operate the Skywell in the presence of explosive or inflammable fumes.
7. Position the Skywell no closer than 8 inches from a wall to permit free airflow between the wall and the
Skywell. There must be at least 8 inches of clearance on all the sides of the Skywell.
8. Use only properly grounded outlets.
9. Always grasp the plug and pull straight out from the outlet. Never unplug by pulling on the cord.
10. Do NOT use the Skywell if the cord becomes frayed or otherwise damaged.
11. To protect against electric shock, do NOT immerse the cord plug, or any other part of the Skywell, in
water or other liquids.
12. Ensure the Skywell is unplugged prior to cleaning or changing filters.
13. Never allow children to dispense hot water without proper and direct adult supervision.
14. Service should be performed only by a Skywell Certified Technician. Please contact us at 1-844-SKY-
WELL (1-844-759-9355) for assistance.
Do not tamper with the ozonator. Ozone is released in very small
quantities that have been verified as safe. Attempting to adjust the ozonator may release more ozone than prescribed.
Electrical Shock Hazard
1. Plug your Skywell into a grounded 3-prong outlet only.
2. Do not remove the ground prong from the Skywell power cord.
3. Failure to follow these instructions can cause fire or electrical shock resulting in injury or even death.
A 120 volt, 60 Hz, AC only, 15-amp, fused electrical supply is required. A time-delay fuse or circuit breaker is recommended. Do not overload the circuit. If required, provide a separate circuit to serve only the Skywell. The Skywell must be plugged into a mating, 3 prong, grounding-type outlet; grounded in accordance with local codes and ordinances. In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding will reduce the risk of electrical shock by providing a path of least resistance for electric current. If a mating outlet is not available, it is the personal responsibility and obligation of the user to have the properly grounded outlet installed by a qualified electrician. Do not ground to a gas pipe. Do not have a fuse in the neutral or ground circuit.

CLEANING AND CARE
Disinfecting the Dispensing
Point Time Required: 1 minute
The Skywell is designed with a recessed dispensing point to minimize contact with the external environment. Regular use of the hot water dispenser will
generally disinfect the recessed dispensing point.
We strongly recommend the following extra care of the dispensing point to ensure you always have the cleanest water possible.
Prior to using the Skywell each day:
1. Use a non-toxic cleaning agent to clean the dispensing point (including the nozzle).
2. Run hot water through the dispensing point for at least 5 seconds and
discard the generated hot water.

Cleaning the Collection Tank
Time Required: 30 minutes Recommended Frequency: Quarterly
Since the collection tank can be exposed to environmental elements, it can attract a buildup over time. While the Skywell filtration and water quality systems will ensure your water remains clean and safe to drink, such buildup can ultimately shorten the life of the water filters and reduce the energy efficiency of the Skywell. Therefore, regular cleaning is
essential to ensure optimal performance of your Skywell. Please contact us to have a Skywell Certified Technician perform the necessary maintenance
services.
The collection tank must be cleaned if the unit is without power for more than 4 hours. You must contact a Skwyell Certified Technician to clean the tank.
Cleaning the Skywell Exterior
Time Required: 2 minutes Recommended Frequency: As needed.
Use readily-available stainless steel cleaners. Finish by wiping with a dry cloth. Do not spray any cleaner in the area of the tablet, air filter, exhaust fan or dispensing point.
