Limiting the Thermostat
The thermostat knob can be adjusted so as to limit the maximum and
minimum temperatures, or locked at a fixed temperature position.
Limiting to a maximum temperature
1.Remove thermostat knob from the heater control panel.
2.Remove the maximum setting plastic cap from the knob (shown
in figure 1 on page 5).
3.Replace the thermostat knob.
4.Turn and place the knob at the maximum setting required.
5.Fasten a small screw (e.g. No.4 x 1/4” self-tapper) in the hole.
The screw should be small enough not to impede movement of
the knob up to the maximum limit.
6.Return the knob to the * position.
7.The knob should turn freely, up to the maximum setting.
Limiting to a maximum and minimum temperature
1.Set a maximum temperature as above.
2.Remove the minimum setting plastic cap from the knob (shown in
figure 1 on page 5).
3.Turn and place the knob at the minimum setting required.
4.Fasten a small screw (e.g. No.4 x 1/4” self-tapper) in the hole.
The screw should be small enough not to impede movement of
the knob between the two limits.
5.The thermostat knob should turn freely between the two limits.
Locking the thermostat knob
1.Remove thermostat knob from the heater control panel.
2.Remove either one of the plastic caps from the knob.

The screw should be large enough to impede movement of the
knob.
5.The thermostat knob should now be locked at the required
setting.
