ADJUSTMENT
The brake on this unit is a disc caliper
type
. Toke
the following s
tepstoad
just:
1. If the broke is
too
looseand ne
eds
tightening,
loosen the two a llen screws as shown in Figure 5. Pull
brake
cable
tig htand tighten a llen screws.

ustment is
needed

and tighten
castle nut do wn until the broke

the
drive shoft. There is a notch in each coll
ar.
In­sert a punch into the notch. Top the punch lightl y to loosen the collar (See Figure 2).
9. Remove the three screws wh ich secu re the chain
ccse cover lSee Figure 21.
10. Remove the bolt a nd
washer
from
the
end of
the drive
shaft
(See Figu re 3). Top on
thedrive sproc-
kets with a ha
mme
r. Top them to
the
right side . This
will free
the d rive sh
aft
from
thegearsha
ft.

loosen
set screws which ho ld the drive sp rockets
in place. Slide
them
off the left
endofthe
drive sh
aft
.
12. Replace or
repair
sprockets.
