1.
Overview
CO Alarm (SWM816A) adopts electrochemical sensors, is used to detect
carbon monoxide gas generated when fuels such as coal are not fully burned, and
inform users in time to avoid the occurrence of poisoning caused by the
accumulation of carbon monoxide.
If a CO Alarm which is added to BASE intelligent security system (gateway) has
detected carbon monoxide, its own will be issued a high-decibel alarm tone, the
intelligent gateway will also send out alarm immediately and push this message to a
smart terminal such as a smart phone in time.
If a CO Alarm which is added to ganged alarm system has detected carbon
monoxide, its own will be issued a high-decibel alarm tone and the alarm devices in
the same system will also send out alarm.
Notice! Information in this manual may change according to BASE application
system updates.

5.5 Alarm disposal
Once carbon monoxide poisoning occurs, it is very dangerous. If the carbon
monoxide alarm sends out an alarm, the following actions are recommended in the
following order.
1) Stay calm and open all doors and windows for ventilation. Stop using all fuel
burning equipment, if possible, make sure they are all off.
2) If the alarm continues to be activated, please leave the place. Leave the doors
and windows open and re-enter only when the alarm stops. If it is a multi-story
dwelling, ensure that all households are aware of the risks.
3) Anyone who suffers from carbon monoxide poisoning needs medical help.
4) Call the relevant repair or maintenance agency and ask professionals to
troubleshoot and correct carbon monoxide emission sources. Unless the warning
is clearly false, do not use the suspected fuel burning equipment.
