DESCRIPTION

1/4 wave Ground plane Boomerang antennas working on 27MHz and 10m HAM band. Particularly suitable for balcony
installation where reduced dimensions are required. They are made of high quality materials and supplied with a very strong
die-cast zamac mount. Available in 2 versions: Balcony 27A whose main whip is completely made of anti-corodal aluminium
tubes and Balcony 27W whose whip is made of tapered glass fibre rod with a inside helical winding to reduce the length
and guaranteeing a good performance. Both models have a loaded glass fibre radial.

INSTALLAZIONE

Montare l'antenna in posizione definitiva sulla ringhiera, parapet­to o altra struttura mediante la staffa fornita. Evitare, se possibile,
posizioni troppo addossate a muri o ad oggetti metallici quali
altre ringhiere o serramenti metallici.

TARATURA

L'antenna viene fornita pretarata a 27 MHz. In alcuni casi può
rendersi necessario una ulteriore taratura per il centro banda CB
CH19=27.185 MHz. Mediante l'ausilio di un ROS-metro tagliare il
solo radiale A 5mm alla volta fino a centratura avvenuta.

INSTALLATION

Install your antenna in the chosen position (railing, parapet or
other structure) by using the enclosed bracket. It's recommanded
to mount it not too closed to the wall or to metallic parts to get
the best performance and avoid interferences.

TUNING

Balcony are pretuned at 27 MHz. In case of fine tuning
for the CB center band CH19=27.185 MHz we
recommand to use a SWR-meter and cut only the radial
A of 5mm up to the required frequency.
