SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your vacuum, basic safety precau­tions should always be observed, including the following:
1. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
2. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Do not use vacuum cleaner if it has been dropped or dam­aged, left outdoor or dropped into water. Return appliance to a SINGER service center for exami­nation repair or adjustment.
3. Do not use the machine without dust bag and fi l- ters properly fi tted.
4. Do not leave vacuum cleaner unattended when it is plugged in.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before pulling fi lters out.
6. To avoid the risk of electric shock-do not use out­doors or on wet surfaces.
7. Do not allow children to use as a toy. Close atten­tion is necessary when used near children.
8. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.

9. Do not pull or carry by cord. Do not use the cord as a handle. Do not close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
10. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp
the plug, not the cord.
11. Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with wet
hands.
12. Do not put any objects into air openings. Do not
use with any air openings blocked and do not re­strict airfl ow. Keep all openings free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airfl ow.
13. Do not pick up hard or sharp objects such as
glass, nails, screws, coins, etc.
14. Do not pick up anything that it is burning or smok-
ing such as hot ashes, cigarette or matches.
15. Turn off all controls before plugging or unplugging
vacuum cleaner.
16. Use extra care when vacuuming on stairs.
17. Do not pick up toxic material (chlorine bleach, am-
monia, drain cleaner, etc.)
18. Do not use to pick up fl ammable or combustible
liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.

19. Keep hair, loose clothing, fi ngers and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
20. Always unplug this appliance before connecting or
disconnecting vacuum fl exible hose.
21. Do not allow plug to whip when rewinding.
22. Use only on dry, indoor surfaces.
23. Store your appliance indoor in a cool, dry area.
24. Do not immerse the machine into water or other liquids.
25. Do not use the cleaner to clean your pets or any animal.
26. Keep your face (eyes, ear, mouth, etc.) away from the openings, when the vacuum is turned on.
27. All repairs must be carried out by an authorized
SINGER service center
28. Use only original dust bag, original fi lters and orig- inal accessories from your local SINGER dealer. Use of unauthorized dust bags and fi lters will void the warranty.
29. The appliance may be used by children over the
age of 8 years and by persons with reduced physi­cal, sensory or mental capacity or by persons with a lack of experience or knowledge if they are su­pervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the appliance and the have understood the po­tential dangers of using the appliance.

30. Children must never play with the appliance.
31. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be
carried out by children without supervision.
32. Plastic bags and fi lms must be kept out of the reach
of children before disposal. Risk of suffocation.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. This appliance is for household only. Only dry sur-
faces should be vacuumed. Do not vacuum build­ing materials. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damage caused by noncompliance with the “Safety Instructions” and the warranty will automatically be voided.
2. Do not vacuum toner dust. Toner, such as that used
in printers and photocopiers, can conduct electric­ity.
3. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep packaging ma-
terial (plastic bags, box etc) away from babies and children.
4. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instruc-
tions in the present instruction manual will automat­ically release Singer of any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the machine or injuries to persons or animals.

5. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modifi ca-
tion of the machine made by unqualifi ed persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.
SERVICE & REPAIR
1. For service or repair under warranty, please contact the authorized service company that is
mentioned on the guarantee card that accompanies the product.
2. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord is damaged,
return the appliance to a SINGER service center for examination repair or adjustment. Do not attempt to dismantle any part of the appliance. This should only be done at an authorized SINGER service center.
3. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present instruction manual
will automatically release Singer of any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the machine or injuries to persons or animals.
4. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modifi cation of the machine made by unqualifi ed
persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be automatically canceled.

USE AND FUNCTION:
1. Assembling the vacuum cleaner
Note:
Always remove the power plug from the wall outlet before assembling or removing accessories.
1. Attaching the Flexible Hose into the vacuum connect the fl exible hose into the air intake duct; push in until you hear a “click”, indi­cating it is in its locked position.
2. Fitting the tube to the curved wand/hose extension. Push the tube into the curved wand/hose extension.
3. Attaching the small brush and small crevice on the extension tube by using the connector
4. Fitting the Floor Brush to the tube. Push the tube into the fl oor brush. Adjust the tube to the desired length.

2. Variable suction control
Note:
Once all attachments are in place, unwind a suffi cient length of cable and insert the plug into the wall outlet. A yellow mark on the power cord shows the ideal cable length. Do not pull the power cord beyond the red mark.
1. Insert the power plug into the wall outlet.
2. Press the power on/off button located the unit to turn the vacuum cleaner “on”.
3. To rewind the power cord, press the cord rewind button with one hand and guide the power cord with the other hand to ensure that it does not whip causing damage or injury.
4. To adjust the suction, slide the speed control button on the suction hand to control the suc­tion power of the vacuum cleaner.

3. Change dust bag

Note:
This cleaner has a convenient handle. You can use it to carry easily the cleaner when the cleaner is in vertical position. It also has 3 small direction wheels at the bottom for easy movement on the oor.
5. Removing & cleaning pre-motor fi lter and air outlet fi lter
Warning:
Always unplug the unit from electrical outlet before getting out the dust barrel.

1. Open the front cover 2. Bring out the inlet fi lter grill & clean or change fi lter

1. Press the cover 2. Take out the air outlet fi lter lock knob to open it for clean and change
Please note:
The sponge fi lter material in the cleaner will became dusty over time. This is normal and will not affect the performance of the fi lter. If the sponge fi lter is so dusty that suction does not return to 100%, then we suggest that the fi lter be removed then rinsed under the faucet and allowed to dry for 24 hours by airing not near the fi re or some high temperature objects before refi tting into the vacuum. This should be done once six months or when suction appears to be reduced obviously.
Important:
Please note that there is a safety switch inside the vacuum to prevent the unit from being run with high vacuum rate. If the vacuum is too high, the safety switch will be turned on. In this case, it can diminish the vacuum rate and protect the motor from being broken.

For more detailed information about recycling of this product, please contact your local city offi ce, your household waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.
Note:
The suction hole must be open, free of any obstructions at all times. Otherwise, the motor will overheat and could become damaged.
Important:
All fi lters should be checked regularly for signs of damage, preferably after each cleaning task. The fi lters must be replaced immediately if they become damaged. Always disconnect the vacu- um from the electrical outlet when checking the fi lters.
