SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using your vacuum, basic safety precautions should always be observed, including
the following:

1. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before
you connect the appliance.

2. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Do not use vacuum cleaner if it has been dropped or
damaged, left outdoor or dropped into water. Return appliance to a SINGER service center for
examination repair or adjustment.

3. Do not use the machine without dust bag and fi lters properly fi tted.

4. Do not leave vacuum cleaner unattended when it is plugged in.

5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before pulling fi lters out.

6. To avoid the risk of electric shock-do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.

7. Do not allow children to use as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used near children.

8. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.

9. Do not pull or carry by cord. Do not use cord as a handle. Do not close a door on cord, or pull
cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from
heated surfaces.

10. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.

11. Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.

12. Do not put any objects into air openings. Do not use with any air openings blocked and do not

restrict airfl ow. Keep all openings free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airfl ow.

13. Do not pick up hard or sharp objects such as glass, nails, screws, coins, etc.

14. Do not pick up anything that it is burning or smoking such as hot ashes, cigarette or matches.

15. Turn off all controls before plugging or unplugging vacuum cleaner.

16. Use extra care when vacuuming on stairs.

17. Do not pick up toxic material (chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.)

18. Do not use to pick up fl ammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas

where they may be present.

19. Keep hair, loose clothing, fi ngers and all parts of the body away from openings and moving

parts.

20. Always unplug this appliance before connecting or disconnecting vacuum fl exible hose.

21. Do not allow plug to whip when rewinding.

22. Use only on dry, indoor surfaces.

23. Store your appliance indoor in a cool, dry area.

24. Do not immerse the machine into water or other liquids.

25. Do not use the cleaner to clean your pets or any animal.

26. Keep your face (eyes, ear, mouth, etc.) away from the openings, when the vacuum is turned

on.

27. All repairs must be carried out by an authorized SINGER service center

28. Use only original dust bag, original fi lters and original accessories from your local SINGER

dealer. Use of unauthorized dust bags and fi lters will void the warranty.

29. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical

or sensory capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.

30. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. This appliance is for household only. Only dry surfaces should be vacuumed. Do not vacuum
building materials. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damage caused by non­compliance with the “Safety Instructions” and the warranty will automatically be voided.

2. Do not vacuum toner dust. Toner, such as that used in printers and photocopiers, can conduct
electricity.

3. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep packaging material (plastic bags, box etc) away from
babies and children.

4. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present instruction manual will
automatically release Singer of any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the machine
or injuries to persons or animals.

5. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modifi cation of the machine made by unqualifi ed per-
sons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.

ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM CLEANER

Note: Do not plug the power cord into an electrical outlet until the

vacuum is fully assembled.

1. Flexible hose

When installing the fl exible hose, please hold the main suction pipe
button and aim at the air inlet, then push till it is completely locked.

2. Telescopic tube

For installing the telescopic tube, connect the telescopic tube part
to the hand grip of the fl exible hose.
Then, extend the telescopic tube by pushing forward on the plas­tic button and by pulling the inner stainless steel telescopic tube
outward.
Adjust the telescopic tube to the length of you fi nd most comfort-

able during vacuuming.

3. Floor brush

To connect the tube and fl oor brush, you push them together until
they fi t. You can use the fl oor brush on the carpet or on fl oors.

4. Accessories

The accessories can be stored on the accessories holder.

The upholstery nozzle can be used for curtains, blinds and uphol­stery, the crevice nozzle can be used to clean narrow corners, ra­diators or hard-to-reach places and the dust nozzle can be used for
cleaning books, etc.
Connect the nozzle directly to the handgrip or to the tube.

CONTROLS

Note: Once the vacuum is fully assembled, unwind a suffi cient length of cable and insert the plug

into the electrical outlet. A yellow mark on the power cord shows the ideal cable length. Do not pull
the power cord beyond this mark.

1. Insert the power plug into the electrical outlet.

2. Press the on/off switch in order to start or stop the vacuum
cleaner.

3. To rewind the power cord, press the cord rewind button with one

hand and guide the power cord with the other hand to ensure that
it does not whip causing damage or injury.

4. You can adjust the suction power with the speed control button

on the vacuum cleaner. Suction can also be controlled using the
airfl ow regulator on the handle: closed for maximum suction, open
for reduced suction.

REPLACING THE DUST BAG

When the indicator shows bleu, then it is time to change the dust bag. Always unplug the appliance
before you replace a dust bag or fi lter.

1. Remove the fl exible hose.

2. Open the front container cover by push­ing the front container cover release but­ton.

3. Remove the dust bag from the holder.

4. When inserting the new dust bag into
the holder make sure to slide it in com­pletely.

5. Close the front container cover.

WARNING: If the dust bag is not fi xed to its proper position, the dust container cover cannot
close.

CLEANING/REPLACING THE FILTERS

a. Pre-motor fi lter

1. Open the air outlet grid and pull the black sponge fi lter out of the appliance.

2. Clean or change the fi lter:

If the sponge fi lter is so dusty that suction does not reach 100%, then it is suggested that the fi lter
is removed, rinsed with lukewarm water and then allowed to dry for 24 hours.
This should be done every six months or when suction appears to be reduced.
All fi lters should be checked regularly, preferably after each cleaning task. The fi lters must be
replaced immediately if they become damaged.
Always disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet when checking the fi lters.

Note: The sponge fi lter material in the cleaner will become dusty over time. This is normal and will
not affect the performance of the fi lter.

b. Air outlet fi lter HEPA

1. Pull the air outlet grid to open.

2. Take out the white HEPA fi lter to place the new one. This fi lter cannot be cleaned.

MACHINE STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the appliance

- Always switch off and unplug the appliance before you clean any parts.

- Do not clean any part of the vacuum cleaner in the dishwasher. If necessary, clean the parts with
a damp cloth.

Storage

1. Switch off the appliance and remove the mains plug from the socket.

2. Press the cord rewind button to rewind the cord.

3. You can use the handle to conveniently carry the cleaner with the cleaner in vertical position.

You can store the appliance in 2 ways:

- Horizontal parking position: insert the ridge on the fl oor brush into the parking slot to park the tube
and then put the appliance away.

- Vertical parking position: insert the hook on the tubes into the parking slot underneath the appli­ance, and then put the appliance away.

Disposal of old Electrical & Electronic Equipment (Applicable in the European Union and other European
countries with separate collection systems).

This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product shall not be treated as
household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling
of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will
help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could
otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. The recycling of materials will
help to conserve natural resources. For more detailed information about recycling of this product,
please contact your local city offi ce, your household waste disposal service or the shop where you
purchased the product.

ΟΔΗΓΙΕΣ ΑΣΦΑΛΕΙΑΣ

Όταν χρησιμοποιείτε την σκούπα, βασικά μέτρα προφύλαξης θα πρέπει να ακολουθού­νται, συμπεριλαμβανομένων και των ακολούθων:

1. Ελέγξτε εάν η τάση που αναφέρεται στη βάση της συσκευής ανταποκρίνεται στην

τοπική τάση πριν την συνδέσετε στο ρεύμα.

2. Μη την χρησιμοποιείτε εάν το καλώδιο ή το φις είναι χαλασμένα. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε

την συσκευή εάν έχει πέσει κάτω, έχει υποστεί βλάβη, έχει παραμείνει σε εξωτερικό
χώρο ή έχει βραχεί. Επισκεφτείτε ένα εξουσιοδοτημένο κατάστημα σέρβις της SINGER
για έλεγχο ή επισκευή.

3. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε την συσκευή αν δεν έχετε τοποθετήσει σωστά τη σακούλα σκόνης

και τα φίλτρα.

4. Μην αφήνετε την συσκευή αφύλακτη όταν είναι συνδεδεμένη με το ρεύμα.

5. Αποσυνδέστε τη συσκευή από το ρεύμα όταν δεν χρησιμοποιείται και πριν αφαιρέσετε

τα φίλτρα.

6. Για να αποφευχθεί ο κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας μην την χρησιμοποιείτε σε εξωτερικούς

χώρους ή σε βρεγμένες επιφάνειες.

7. Μην την χρησιμοποιείτε ως παιχνίδι. Μην αφήνετε τα παιδιά κοντά στην συσκευή χωρίς

επίβλεψη.

8. Χρησιμοποιείστε τη μόνο σύμφωνα με τις περιγραφές που εμφανίζονται σε αυτό το εγ-

χειρίδιο. Χρησιμοποιείστε μόνο τα εξαρτήματα που συνιστά ο κατασκευαστής.

9. Μην τραβάτε ή μεταφέρετε τη συσκευή από το καλώδιο. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε το καλώ-

διο ως χερούλι. Μην τραβάτε το καλώδιο γύρω από γωνίες, μην το μαγκώνετε σε πόρ­τες και μην το πατάτε. Κρατήστε το καλώδιο μακριά από θερμαινόμενες επιφάνειες.

10. Για να την αποσυνδέσετε από το ρεύμα, τραβήξτε από το φις και όχι από το καλώδιο.

11. Μην ακουμπάτε το φις ή την συσκευή με βρεγμένα χέρια.

12. Μην τοποθετείτε αντικείμενα στα ανοίγματα εξαερισμού. Μη την χρησιμοποιείτε ενώ

κάποιο από τα ανοίγματα εξαερισμού είναι μπλοκαρισμένο και μην εμποδίζετε την ροή
του αέρα. Κρατήστε όλα τα ανοίγματα ελεύθερα από σκόνες, χνούδια, τρίχες, και οτι­δήποτε άλλο μπορεί να μειώσει την ροή του αέρα.

13. Μην περισυλλέγετε αιχμηρά αντικείμενα όπως βελόνες, βίδες, νομίσματα, κομμάτια

γυαλιού κλπ.

14. Μην περισυλλέγετε οτιδήποτε καίγεται ή βγάζει καπνό, όπως τσιγάρα, σπίρτα ή καυτές

στάχτες.

15. Θέστε εκτός λειτουργία τη συσκευή πριν την συνδέσετε ή την αποσυνδέσετε από το

ρεύμα.

16. Ιδιαίτερη προσοχή πρέπει να δοθεί όταν σκουπίζετε σε σκάλες.

17. Μην περισυλλέγετε τοξικά υλικά (χλωρίνη, αμμωνία, καθαριστικά, κλπ).

18. Μην περισυλλέγετε εύφλεκτα υγρά και οποιοδήποτε άλλο υγρό, όπως βενζίνη, ή μην

χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή σε περιοχές όπου μπορεί να υπάρχουν αυτά τα υλικά.

19. Κρατήστε μακριά από τα ανοίγματα εξαερισμού και τα κινούμενα μέρη όλα τα μέρη

του σώματος, όπως μαλλιά, ρουχισμό, δάχτυλα.

20. Πάντοτε να αποσυνδέετε τη συσκευή από το ρεύμα πριν συνδέσετε ή αποσυνδέσετε

τον ελαστικό σωλήνα.

21. Μην αφήνετε το καλώδιο ελεύθερο όταν μαζεύετε.

22. Χρησιμοποιείστε τη μόνο σε στεγνές εσωτερικές επιφάνειες.

23. Αποθηκεύεστε τη συσκευή σε ένα δροσερό, στεγνό μέρος.

24. Μην βυθίζετε τη συσκευή σε νερό ή άλλα υγρά.

25. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή για να καθαρίστε τα κατοικίδια σας ή άλλα ζώα.

26. Κρατήστε το πρόσωπό σας (μάτια, αυτιά, στόμα, κλπ) μακριά από τα ανοίγματα, το πέλ-

μα ή τον σωλήνα όταν η συσκευή είναι σε λειτουργία.

27. Όλες οι επισκευές θα πρέπει να γίνονται σε εξουσιοδοτημένα καταστήματα σέρβις

της SINGER.

28. Χρησιμοποιείστε μόνο γνήσιες σακούλες σκόνης, γνήσια φίλτρα και γνήσια εξαρτή-

ματα SINGER. Η χρήση μη γνήσιων σακουλών σκόνης και φίλτρων ακυρώνει την εγ­γύηση.

29. Αυτή η συσκευή δεν προορίζεται για χρήση από άτομα (συμπεριλαμβανομένων και των

παιδιών) με μειωμένες φυσικές και νοητικές ικανότητες ή έλλειψη εμπειρίας και γνώ­σης, εκτός αν υπάρχει επιτήρηση ή έχουν δοθεί οδηγίες για τη χρήση της συσκευής
από ένα άτομο υπεύθυνο για την ασφάλειά τους.

30. Τα παιδιά πρέπει να επιτηρούνται για να βεβαιωθεί ότι δεν παίζουν με τη συσκευή.

ΕΙΔΙΚΕΣ ΟΔΗΓΙΕΣ ΑΣΦΑΛΕΙΑΣ

1. Η χρήση της συσκευής είναι για οικιακή χρήση σε στεγνές επιφάνειες. Δεν επιτρέπε-

ται να χρησιμοποιείται για την περισυλλογή οικοδομικών υλικών. Αν δεν τηρηθούν οι
συστάσεις αυτές, για οτιδήποτε συμβεί, πλήρη ευθύνη φέρει ο χειριστής και επιπλέον
ακυρώνεται αυτόματα η εγγύηση.

2. Μην επιχειρήσετε να σκουπίσετε σκόνη από toner. Η σκόνη από toner που χρησιμο-

ποιούνται πχ. για εκτυπωτές ή φωτοαντιγραφικά μηχανήματα μπορεί να παρουσιάσει
ηλεκτρική αγωγιμότητα. Εκτός τούτου, είναι πιθανόν να μην φιλτραριστεί από τα φίλ­τρα της σκούπας και να επιστρέψει στον αέρα του δωματίου, μέσω του μοτέρ.

3. Για να αποφύγετε το κίνδυνο πνιγμού από ασφυξία, κρατήστε τα υλικά συσκευασίας

(πλαστικές σακούλες, κουτιά κτλ) μακριά από μωρά και παιδιά.

4. Η μη τήρηση αυτών των κανονισμών και υποδείξεων που περιγράφονται στο παρόν

εγχειρίδιο απαλλάσσει τη Singer από κάθε ευθύνη σε περίπτωση κακής λειτουργίας ή
πρόκλησης βλάβης σε άτομα, ζώα, κλπ.

5. Η κακή χρήση ή παρέμβαση από το χρήστη που δεν επιτρέπονται, ακυρώνουν αυτομά-

τως την εγγύηση του προϊόντος.

ΣΥΝΑΡΜΟΛΟΓΗΣΗ ΤΗΣ ΗΛΕΚΤΡΙΚΗΣ ΣΚΟΥΠΑΣ

Σημείωση: Μη συνδέετε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας στην πρίζα

πριν συναρμολογήσετε πλήρως τη σκούπα.

1. Ελαστικός σωλήνας

Για να τοποθετήσετε τον ελαστικό σωλήνα μέσα στην είσοδο
αναρρόφησης της σκούπας, πιέστε τους δύο διακόπτες κλει­δώματος που βρίσκονται στην άκρη του σωλήνα και τοποθετή­στε τον μέσα στην υποδοχή σύνδεσης του ελαστικού σωλήνα

στη συσκευή μέχρι να εφαρμόσει σωστά.

2. Τηλεσκοπικός σωλήνας

Για να τοποθετήσετε τον τηλεσκοπικό σωλήνα, συνδέστε το
εξάρτημα του τηλεσκοπικού σωλήνα στη χειρολαβή του ελα­στικού σωλήνα. Επεκτείνετε τον τηλεσκοπικό σωλήνα πιέζο­ντας προς τα εμπρός το πλαστικό κουμπί και τραβώντας τον

εσωτερικό τηλεσκοπικό σωλήνα προς τα έξω. Ρυθμίστε τον
τηλεσκοπικό σωλήνα στο μήκος που σας εξυπηρετεί για να
σκουπίζετε άνετα.

3. Πέλμα δαπέδου

Συνδέστε το σωλήνα και το πέλμα δαπέδου πιέζοντας μέχρι
να εφαρμόσουν. Χρησιμοποιήστε το πέλμα για τον καθαρισμό
χαλιών και δαπέδων.

4. Αξεσουάρ

Τα αξεσουάρ μπορούν να αποθηκευτούν στη θήκη στο εσω­τερικό της σκούπας.
Το ακροφύσιο για ταπετσαρίες μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για
κουρτίνες, στόρια και ταπετσαρίες επίπλων, το ακροφύσιο για
γωνίες μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για γωνίες, καλοριφέρ ή ση­μεία με δύσκολη πρόσβαση και το ακροφύσιο με βούρτσα για
τον καθαρισμό βιβλίων, κλπ

.

Συνδέστε απευθείας το ακροφύσιο με τη χειρολαβή ή το σω­λήνα.
