The exclamation point within an equilateral

The lightning flash with arrowhead, within an equilateral
triangle, is intended to alert the user of the presence of
uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's
enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to
constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
1. Read Instructions - All the safety and operation instructions should be read before the Soundbar is operated.
2 Reta Instructions - The safety and operating instructions should be kept for future reference.
3. Heed Warnings - All warnings on the Soundbar and in these operating instructions should be followed.
4. Follow Instructions - All operating and other instructions should be followed.
5. Water and Moisture - The Soundbar should not be used near water. For example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet
basement or near a swimming pool.
6. Ventilation - The Soundbar should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, the system
should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug or similar surface that may block airflow past the rear heat sinks; or placed in a built-in installation such
as a bookcase or cabinet that may impede the flow of air past the heat sinks.
7. Heat - The Soundbar should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, furnace outflow vents or other devices which produce
heat.
8. Power Sources - The Soundbar should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in these operation instructions or as marked on
the Component.
9. Grounding or Polarization - The Soundbar is equipped with a polarized alternating-current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other).
This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is an intentional safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try
reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact an electrician to replace the obsolete (unpolarized) outlet. Do not defeat the safety
purpose of the polarized plug.
10. Power Cord Protection - Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked upon or pinched by items placed upon or
against them. Pay particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit the Soundbar. To prevent electric
shock, do not use the Soundbar polarized plug with an extension cord, receptacle or other outlet unless the blades can be fully inserted to prevent
blade exposure.
11. Non-use Periods - The power cord of the Soundbar should be unplugged from the outlet when left unused for a long period of time.
12. Damage Requiring Service - The Soundbar should be serviced only by qualified service personnel when:
A. Soundbar power supply cord or the plug has been damaged; or
B. Objects have fallen or liquid has spilled into the Soundbar; or
C. The Soundbar has been exposed to rain; or
D. The Soundbar does not appear to operate or exhibits a marked change in performance; or
E. The Soundbar has been dropped or damaged.
13. Servicing - The user should not attempt to service the Soundbar beyond those means described in this operating manual. All other servicing should
be referred to an authorized Service Center.
14. Cleaning - Unplug the Soundbar from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
15. Attachments - Do not use attachments not recommended as they may cause hazards.
16. Accessories - Do not place the Soundbar on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The Soundbar may fall, causing serious injury to a
child or adult, and serious damage to the product. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table recommended by manufacturer, or sold with
the product. Any mounting of the Soundbar should follow manufacturer's instructions, and should use a mounting accessory recommended by
manufacturer. An Soundbar and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the
product and cart combination to overturn.
17. Lightning - For added protection for the Soundbar during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time,
unplug it from the wall outlet.
18. Overloading - Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
19. Safety Check - Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to determine that the
product is in proper operating condition.
20. Servicing - Do not attempt to service the Soundbar yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltages or other hazards.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
21. Replacement Parts - When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician has used replacement parts specified by manufacturer or
have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
22. Wall or Ceiling Mounting - The product should be mounted to a wall or ceiling only as recommended by manufacturer.
23. Object and Liquid Entry - Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings, as they may touch dangerous voltage points or shortout parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.

This 3.5mm input can be used with
many portable devices.

This input is to be used with the supplied IR sensor only when mounting
the Invisibar TV3 behind the TV. When used it will bypass the function of
the front display. Connect the 3.5mm jack of the IR sensor here when the
sound bar is being positioned behind the TV and place the square portion
with the round red plastic window facing the TV.

The learning function allows you to program the functions of
the Soundbar into your current remote. Example: If you
would like the Number 1 key on your current remote to
control the power of the Soundbar, follow the steps below:

Press the LEARN button on the
Soundbar for about three seconds, the
display will show “LRN” and flashes.

If a mistake was made programming your current remote or the Invisibar TV3 remote no longer works with the Soundbar, push and
hold the “LEARN” button on the Soundbar until the LED stops flashing. Now your current remote will no longer work and your
Invisibar TV3 remote now controls the Soundbar. The supplied remote will always control the Invisibar, regardless of what has been
programmed.

Connecting your TV to the Soundbar / Branchement de votre téléviseur
Invisibar TV3
Option 1: The Popular Analog Connection
Make sure all components are off before starting the connections. Using the supplied stereo audio cable, connect the
Soundbar’s Line 1 (analog) input to your TV’s stereo audio
output. If your TV has two sets of audio outputs labeled as
Fixed and variable, use the pair labeled fixed. This will let you
turn your TV’s speakers down while the TV still supplies a
constant audio signal to the Soundbar. Then, connect your
source (Satellite, DVD, etc) using the remaining Optical input.
Option 2: The One Wire Digital Connection
Make sure all components are off before starting the
connections. If your TV has an Optical Out, and all your
sources (blu-ray, satellite, game, etc.) are currently
connected to the TV using digital cables (such as HDMI,
Optical, or Digital Coaxial) then follow the simple guidelines
below. You will need an optical cable, not included but
available at your local Sinclair Audio dealer.
NOTE: If your DVD player, cable tuner or satellite tuner does not have a
coaxial digital output, you can connect its analog audio output to your TV.
The TV will send its audio signal to the Soundbar through the analog
connection described above.

Connecting your Sources Directly to the Soundbar / La connexion de vos sources directement à la Soundbar
If you prefer, you can also connect your sources (Bluray, Satellite, etc.) directly to the Soundbar. Using this
method, you will need to select the proper video input
on your TV to match sound. If you are not getting any
sound, you might have to set your source to PCM output
in their audio menus (see p.17). The common choices on
a source like a DVD or Blu-ray would be some type of
Dolby Surround or PCM.

Once you have connected the Soundbar to your TV and
sources, you can then connect it’s power cord. Connect the
small, round connector to the back of the Soundbar where
DC INPUT is indicated. Then, insert the plug into an active,
unswitched AC outlet.
DO NOT PLUG THIS CORD INTO THE ACCESSORY OUTLETS
FOUND ON SOME AUDIO COMPONENTS.
You are now ready to turn on the Soundbar, as well as all
other components.

Invisibar TV3
Pairing with Bluetooth
The Invisibar TV3 is equipped with Bluetooth to allow you to stream
your music wirelessly via a Bluetooth enabled device.
Turn on your Invisibar TV3. Select the Bluetooth input on the
remote by pushing the SRC (source) button until you see BT flashing. Turn on your Bluetooth device, let it find Invisibar TV3, and
accept the connection. The BT will stop flashing and is paired. If
this doesn’t work, press the BT code button until BT appears in the
display and flashes. Turn on your device and select Invisibar TV3
from the list of found devices. The device and Soundbar will pair in
about 30 seconds and the BT will stop flashing.

Power ‘On/Auto/Off’ / Commutateur ‘On/Auto/Off’
You may choose to have your Subwoofer turn on automatically once it senses an incoming signal. In that case please
select the "AUTO" position on the back of the amplifier. The amplifier will turn itself off to stand-by mode if it does not
sense a signal after approximately 10 seconds. When listening at very low levels, the amplifier’s signal may be too low
to turn the amplifier on automatically. In such cases please select the "ON" position on the amplifier.
Vous pouvez choisir de faire mettre sous tension votre caisson sous-grave automatiquement une fois qu’il détecte un
signal parvenant de votre récepteur audio, en choisissant le mode "AUTO" en l’endos du caisson sur l’amplificateur.

Phase switch / Commutateur de Phase
The Phase switch allows your subwoofer to match the output of the bass driver in relation to the other speakers in the
listening room. The correct position for this switch is whichever way produces more perceived bass. You may experiment
by switching between NOR and REV, and determining which position sounds best. In most cases, however, leaving the
switch in the NOR position will produce the best results.

Volume
When setting the volume control at the subwoofer, begin with your main speakers playing at a normal listening level
and the volume control at the subwoofer completely in the MIN position (counterclockwise position). Then, begin to turn
up the volume at the subwoofer slowly (clockwise) until the desired bass response is achieved. Bass output will then be
regulated by your A/V receiver’s volume control.

VOLUME SETTING TIP
Have one person sit at the regular listening position, and a second person turn up the volume at the subwoofer until
the desired bass output is achieved at the listening position. Remember most natural sounding bass results when
bass reproduction is balanced with the main speakers.

Low frequency sound is generally non-directional. This allows
for great flexibility in the placing of a subwoofer, as it is difficult for the human ear to discern where the low frequency
sound originates. Ideally, however, the subwoofer will be
placed on the same plane as the main left/right speakers.

Placing the Soundbar on a flat surface
If your TV is placed on a flat surface such as a TV stand or
another piece of furniture, center the Soundbar as much as
possible with the TV screen. Attach the supplied rubber pads to
the bottom of the Soundbar to prevent scratching the furniture.

The Sinclair Invisibar TV3 has the unique ability to be placed behind most 42”-80” TVs* so it cannot be seen and still fill your room with stunning

Insert the provided bolts into the Vesa inserts behind your TV.
These are the inserts (seen as holes) that are used when you
use a wall bracket to mount your TV. Do not install them all
the way into the TV cabinet and flush, leave 3-5mm of the
bolt outside of the cabinet because the Invisibar integrated
brackets need to attach to them.

Connect the supplied Infrared Sensor into the input
called “IR” in back of the Invisibar. Once installed you
will now need to point the remote at the Infrared
sensor to control the Invisibar.

Hang the Invisibar on the bolts protruding from the back of
the TV, making sure that the integrated brackets are securely
holding them. The head of the bolt should be almost touching
the back of the Invisibar’s cabinet while the shaft of the bolt is
supporting the bracket.
The supplied rubber bumpers can be added to the back of the
Invisibar to provide even more stability between it and the TV.
They are not required, but can be added to provide added the
best possible fit.
Suspendre l’Invisibar sur les vis installées à l’arrière de la
télé, faites sûr qu’elles soient bien soutenues par les
Supports. La tête de vis devrait presque toucher l’arrière de
l’Invisibar alors que les supports sont bien accotés sur la vis.
Les coussins en caoutchouc peuvent être installés à l’arrière
de l’Invisibar pour offrir une meilleure stabilité. Ils ne sont pas
obligatoire, mais offre un meilleur ajustement.

Position the Infrared Sensor under the TV screen and facing
the listening area. Double sided tape is supplied should you
want to fix it into place. It is not required, it will simply prevent the Infrared from moving should it be bumped which can
affect performance. Remember, the remote now needs to be
pointed at the sensor to control the Invisibar’s functions.

Positionnez le Capteur Infrarouge sous la télévision face à la
zone d’écoute. Le collant double face vous permet de l’installer.

Not getting sound from your Soundbar
While most set-ups should be very simple and work immediately,
there is a chance that additional set-up might be required on your
TV, cable box or other device. If you have no sound you may want
to verify the settings on your TV or source and change the output
to PCM Stereo or Dolby Digital.
