INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
This product is suitable for use only with a supply voltage of 220-240V AC 50Hz.
All electrical work must be carried out in accordance with local and national electrical codes as applicable.
We strongly recommend that this light tting is installed by a registered electrician.

This light tting is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

manufacturer, will void any and all stated warranties.

materials or workmanship which aects its designed ability to operate. During this period if the

BEFORE YOU INSTALL YOUR FLOODLIGHT
This oodlight should be installed by a Registered Electrical Contractor.

Before installing this oodlight, please be aware of the following caution notes:
This light tting is rated to IP44. This means that it is suitable in areas which may receive light rainfall. Please ensure the desired location does not exceed this rating.
This oodlight should not be mounted to any surface that may be prone to vibration. Floodlight is designed to operate correctly with horizontal lamp orientation only.
Warning: This oodlight must not be mounted in exposed areas where wind gusts are expected beyond 130km/hr.
The housing will be HOT to the touch during operation. Allow sucient time for the unit to cool before making any adjustments or replacing the lamp. Only touch the lamp with a soft clean
cloth when tting and replacing the lamp.
• Care and consideration should be taken when the unit is located close to property boundaries, to avoid unnecessary spill light or glare to neighbours, or to passing pedestrians and/or vehicles.
INSTALLATION METHOD
Switch o and isolate the power supply before commencing any electrical work
Select a suitable location for your oodlight. Recommended mounting height is 2.0 - 3.5 metres.
Remove the bracket from the housing, and using the bracket to mark the position of the screw holes on the mounting surface, drill the holes. Tension the bracket 5nm to the mounting surface. Care should be taken to avoid drilling or screwing into concealed wiring.
Remove the rear cover of the junction box. Carefully draw a round core mains power cable through the
power entry gland and into the junction box (refer to FIG. A).
Wire the mains cable to the terminal block (refer to FIG. B) ensuring accurate polarity. This oodlight must have an Earth connection for safety. Secure cable with anchorage. Ret the junction box
cover and tighten the power entry gland.
Unscrew the front lamp cover, and insert the lamp supplied. Ret the front lamp cover. Use a soft
clean cloth when handling the lamp.
Fit the oodlight body to the mounting bracket.
Aim the oodlight and tension the bracket pivots to 5nm.
Reconnect power supply.

Replace any cracked glass immediately using only 5mm tempered glass.
A minimum distance of 1 metre from any object
in front of the oodlight must be observed.
