GENERAL SAFETY RULES
Always read and understand the tool’s operator’s manual, tool •
marking and the instruction package before starting any work.
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when •
using this tool.
Keep your work area clean and well lit.•
Keep bystanders, children and visitors away when using this tool.•
Do not use tool when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, •
alcohol or medication.
Always wear eye protection when operating or servicing the tool.•
When servicing the tool, use only identical replacement parts. •
Follow instructions regarding maintenance in the tool operator •
manual.
Maintain labels and nameplates. If unreadable or missing, contact •
the manufacturer for a replacement.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
While assembling system components, screwdriver motor should •
be unplugged from power source.
Keep hands, feet and head away from the tip (screw outlet) of the •
tool.
Tool can eject screw without being connected to motor or power •
source.
Do not cycle attachment while pointed at any body part.•
If a screw should become jammed in the auto-feed attachment, •
immediately disengage the power source and point the tool in a safe
direction.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEMSOLUTION
Screws won’t drive.
They spin for a second, then lay over
on their side. Little or no penetration.
Screws won’t drive completely.
They go down about halfway, then
the bit spins out.
Screws won’t drive completely.
They are almost completely driven
but won’t seat completely.
Screws don’t advance properly

Make sure the screwdriver motor is NOT in reverse.
Check to be sure you are using the correct bit for the type of screws you are driving.
Check for bit wear. It may be time to install a new bit.
Push harder when driving.
Check the depth adjustment on the attachment. Reset if necessary.
You may have missed the substrate.
Ensure pressure is being applied during screw installation until clutch on
screwdriver motor disengages.
Use only genuine Quik Drive brand collated screws.
Lift tool completely off the work surface after driving each screw.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
ATTACH ADAPTOR TO YOUR SCREWDRIVER MOTOR
(Motor sold separately)
Unplug the screwdriver motor and remove nose-cone and bit
holder from your screwdriver motor according to manufacturer’s
directions (most will pull straight off).
Replace with Quik Drive adaptor made for the screwdriver motor.
Follow specifi c instructions included with Quik Drive adaptor.
CHANGING THE HEX MANDREL
The mandrel must be removed
from the front nose. To remove,
pry off retaining clip and washer,
slide mandrel out through
opposite end. Reverse steps to
install. (Install washer followed
by retaining clip)
CONNECT ATTACHMENT TO
SCREWDRIVER MOTOR OR EXTENSION
Insert mandrel into extension, slide
attachment on and push tight - until the
locking lever snaps in place.
You can turn the attachment any way that
is comfortable.
New tools may be tight and hard to lock in
place. If so, ensure there are NO screws
loaded in the attachment and put the nose
against a solid surface and push down
sharply (see photo at far right).

ATTACH EXTENSION TO SCREWDRIVER MOTOR
Turn the clamping handle in the “off” direction
(clockwise) until the internal clamp is out of the way.
Insert the screwdriver motor, with G2 Adaptor in place, into
the end of the extension. Push tight and tighten clamping
handle. If it won’t fully insert, rotate the extension until
the teeth mesh.

LOAD and REMOVE SCREWS
Insert the belt into the belt-guide up to 1 position
ahead of the fi rst screwing position. If the belt is
inserted too far, press release button on head of
tool and pull belt out of the tool an insert again.

CLEARING JAMMED SCREWS
If a screw should become jammed in the auto-feed attachment, disengage the
power source and point the tool in a safe direction. Remove jammed screw. If
needed, depress fastener release button, firmly grasp the screw belt and pull it
out of feed track. See troubleshooting guide if problem persists.

MAINTENANCE
As a regular maintenance procedure for the attachment, we recommend that regular cleaning of the attachment be
performed. Normally, blowing a high pressure stream of air on and in the attachment should be sufficient.
