Introduction
SimpliFire(R) ShadowGlo HD log sets are hand-painted
and oer true-to-life look and glow. Areas on some logs
are purposefully left unpainted, creating a stunningly realistic glow in the charred portions of the log when the LED
ember bed lights shine through.
There is no specic placement requirements for media
in the SimpliFire linear replaces. These placement in-
structions serve as a starting point for displaying the logs
included in this kit. If your replace is longer or shorter
than what is shown in this example, the pattern and general
concept can be repeated.
CAUTION! Risk of Cuts, Abrasions or Flying Debris.
Wear protective gloves and safety glasses during
installation and service. Sheet metal edges are sharp.
Tools and Supplies Needed
Before beginning and installation be sure that the following
tools - supplies are available.
Gloves
Magnetic Phillips screwdriver
Safety glasses
Ember Media (included with appliance)

Refer to the appliance Owner’s Manual for instructions
to remove and install glass front.
CAUTION! Two adults recommended for the removal
or installation of glass front. Use caution when han-
dling glass. Failure to do so could result in personal injury
or property damage.

Note: Log placement examples below are variable and may be changed based on your desired look. The
number of logs needed will vary depending on the length of your replace.
1. Take the logs with signicant char and position them inside the rebox with the unpainted portion facing down (allowing
the fuel bed light to shine through) as shown in Figure 3.

2. Arrange the remaining logs throughout the rebox so that one end rests on top of another log. Refer to Figure 3 as an
example.

3. Evenly place the black or clear nishing embers that came with your appliance throughout the fuel bed, lling in the surface
areas between logs. Refer to Figure 4.

Glass Front Installation

to replace front glass.
