ENHANCED CPU (see Figure 6)
Requirements
You must order a (740-792) 4002 Harness Upgrade Kit and a
565-265 Power Supply Board to upgrade from a 562-909 CPU
to a 565-180 CPU. Refer to Publication FA4-21-266 for
Harness Upgrade Kit installation instructions.
A 733-746 Harness is required for signal power when one
signal expansion module is used with the 565-180 CPU.
A 733-785 Harness is required for signal power when two
expansion power supplies and a signal expansion module are
used with the 565-l 80 CPU.
Refer to 841-712 Internal Wiring Diagram for information on
connecting expansion units using these harnesses.
(For more information, see FA4-51-154.)
NOTE: Switch settings and jumper placements perform the
same functions as the 562-909 CPU.
Special Features
NOTE: New Feature locations are shown in Figure 6.
The 565-l 80 Enhanced CPU is equipped with a Signals
Silenced LED.
The 565-180 Enhanced CPU board is equipped with
removable jumpers instead of zero ohm resistors. When
jumpers are on the l&2 position, they are in the ENABLED
position. When jumpers are on the Z&3 position, they are in
the REMOVED position. Do not discard jumpers.
