FOR YOUR SAFETY READ BEFORE OPERATING
A. This appliance does not have a pilot. It is equipped with an ignition device which automati-
cally lights the burner. Do not try to light the burner by hand.
B. BEFORE OPERATING smell all around the appliance area for gas. Be sure to smell next to
the floor because some gas is heavier than air an will settle on the floor.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
- Do not try to light any appliance.
- Do not touch any electric switch; do not use any phone in your building.
- Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone.
Follow the gas supplier’s instructions.
- If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.
C. Use only your hand to turn the gas valve knob. Never use tools. If the knob will not turn by
hand, don’t try to repair it, call a qualified service technician. Force or attempted repair may
result in a fire or explosion.
D. Do not use this appliance if any part has been under water. Immediately call a qualified ser-
vice technician to inspect the appliance and to replace any part of the control system and
any gas control which has been under water.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. STOP! Read the safety information above on this label.
2. Turn the selector nobe counter-clockwise to the off position.
3. Disconnect all electric power to the appliance by disconnecting the electric cord.
4. Set both the heating potentiomenter to the lowest setting.
5. This appliance is equipped with an ignition device which automatically lights the burner.
Do not try to light the burner by hand.
6. Close the manual gas valve to the “OFF” position (handle perpendicular to the direction
of flow). Do not force.
7. Wait five (5) minutes to clear out any gas. If you then smell gas, STOP! Follow “B” in the
safety information above on this label. If you don’t smell gas, go to next step.
8. Set the heating potentiomenter to the desired setting.
9. Set thermostat to desired setting if applicable.
10. Connect electric power to the appliance by connecting the electric cord.
11. Turn the manual gas valve to the “ON” position (handle parallel to the direction of flow).
12. Turn the selector nobe clockwiseto either the winter ( ) or the summer ( ).
13. If the appliance will not operate, follow the instructions “To Turn Off Gas To Appliance” and
call your service techncian or gas supplier.
TO TURN OFF GAS TO APPLIANCE
WARNING: Should overheating occur, or the gas supply fail to shut off, shut off
the gas supply external to the appliance. Do not switch off the electrical supply
to the pump.
1. Turn the sector nobe counter-clockwise to the off position.
2. Close the manual gas valve to the “OFF” position (handle perpendicular to the direction of
flow). Do not force.
3. Once the pump has been given the oppor tuinity to decipate the heat away form the applian-
ce, disconnect all electric power to the appliance by disconnecting the electrical cord.

1 BOILER IGNITION (fig. 1)
Open the gas cock and position the index of
the selector knob in the following positions:
• With the rotary switch in the summer
position ( ), the boiler will start-up
upon demand for domestic hot water,
and will start to modulate in automatically to reach the selected temperature.
The gas feeding pressure will then automatically vary to ensure that the required temperature is kept constant.
• With the rotary switch in the winter
position ( ), once the boiler has reached the value set on the heating potentiometer, it will start to modulate in automatically in order to supply the required
power output to the system.
The operation of the boiler will be stopped through the intervention of the room
thermostat or the programable thermostat.
ATTENTION: no noise is produced when
you position the index of the knob on the
desired setting.
2 TEMPERATURES ADJUSTMENT
(fig. 2)
1. The D.H.W. temperature can be adjusted by turning the knob of the D.H.W.
potentiometer which has a range of
between 30 to 60°C (86-140° F) .
2. The C.H. temperature can be adjusted by
turning the knob of the C.H. potentiometer which has a range of between 30
to 80°C (86-176° F)
3. To ensure optimal boiler efficiency at all
times, we recommend not to drop below
a minimum working temperature of 50°C
(122° F).
3 TURNING THE BOILER OFF
(fig. 1)
When the selector is in OFF position, the
boiler is in standby, the green LED flashes
at intervals of five seconds and all features are disabled, except the pump antiblocking feature. Move the bipolar switch
to “OFF” to disconnect the unit from the
power supply.
If the boiler is not going to be used for a
lengthy period it is advised to turn off the
electricity supply, close the gas cock, and if
low temperatures are foreseen, empty the
boiler and the hydraulic system to avoid
breakage in the tubes due to the freezing of
the water.

4 GAS CONVERSION
Should it be necessary to convert the
appliance to a different gas from the one
for which the boiler has been equipped,
approach the technical staff.
5 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Preventive maintenance and checking of
the efficient operation of the equipment
and safety devices must be carried out
exclusively by the authorized technical
staff.
5.1 Flue gas and burner
maintenance
Flue gas passageways should be checked
and cleaning every six months.
The burner should be checked and cleaning every six months.
Authorized technical staff inspect the burner and if necessary clean using a soft
brush and a vacuum cleaner, taking care
not to dameage the front isulation.
Before reassembly inspect all seals and
replace as required.
5.2 Venting maintenance
The venting system shall be visually inspected
for deterioration or deposits every 6 months
it is recommended to periodically inspected
the intake and the exhaust terminal for debris
or snow removed from blocking the termination.
Any dirt within the vent shall be removed with
a soft brush.
6 FAULTS FINDING
A. Ignition failure/safety stat intercep-
tion (fig. 3)
If the burner fails to start the red led
that signals blockage will light up. To
attempt starting it again, the selector
knob must be turned to the position ( )
and released soon after, returning to
the summer
()
or winter
()
position. If the failure should occur again,
call the authorised technical staff to
check the boiler.
B. Restoring pressure in the heating
system (fig. 3/a)
Periodically check that the pressure in
the system is between 1 and 1.2 bar
(14.5 and 17.4 psi). If the pressure is
below 1 bar (14.5 psi) when the system
is cold, set the system pressure using
the pressure reducing valve, that has
been remotely installed, until the pressure gauge indicator falls within the
blue range.
The blue coloured scale shows the
working field with heating plant functioning.
C. Other faults (fig. 3/b)
If orange indicator light comes on (SM
probe fault), turn off the boiler and contact your authorised technical service
centre.
If the green flashing indicator light
comes on (fan fault/exhaust pressure
switch), turn off the boiler and contact

your authorised technical service centre.
If the flashing orange light comes on (no
water circulation), turn the boiler off and
then turn it on again to restore functioning. If the indicator light comes on
again, turn off the boiler and request
assistance from an Authorised Technical
Service Centre.
If the boiler and the green voltage LED
switch off, it is possible to reset the unit
by disconnecting it from the mains for a
few minutes and by pressing the main
switch on the outside of the boiler.

POUR VOTRE SÉCURITÉ LISEZ CECI AVANT L’UTILISATION
A.
Cet appareil n’a pas de veilleuse. Il possède un dispositif d’allumage qui allume automatiquement le brûleur. N’essayez pas d’allumer le brûleur à la main.
B.
AVANT L’UTILISATION, sentez s’il y a du gaz autour de l’appareil. Faites bien attention à humer près du
sol car certains gaz sont plus lourds que l’air et stagneront au sol.
QUE FAIRE SI VOUS RELEVEZ LA PRÉSENCE DE GAZ
-
Ne tentez pas d’allumer l’appareil ;
-
Ne touchez aucun interrupteur électrique; n’utilisez aucun téléphone dans votre bâtiment ;
-
Appelez immédiatement votre fournisseur de gaz avec le téléphone de votre
voisin. Suivez les instructions du fournisseur de gaz ;
-
Si ne réussissez pas à joindre votre fournisseur de gaz, appelez les pompiers.
C.
Tournez le bouton de la soupape de gaz uniquement à la main. N’utilisez jamais d’outils. Si le bouton ne
tourne pas à la main, n’essayez pas de le réparer, appelez un technicien d’entretien qualifié. Le fait de
forcer ou de tenter de réparer peut provoquer un incendie ou une explosion.
D.
N’utilisez pas cet appareil si l’une de ses parties a été sous l’eau. Appelez immédiatement un technicien d’entretien qualifié pour inspecter l’appareil et remplacer toute pièce du système de commande
et toute commande du gaz qui aurait été sous l’eau.
INSTRUCTIONS DE FONCTIONNEMENT
1.
STOP ! Lisez les informations de sécurité situées au-dessus de cette étiquette.
2.
Tournez le bouton de sélection dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre sur la position off.
3.
Mettez hors tension l’appareil en débranchant le cordon électrique.
4.
Placez les potentiomètres de chauffage sur le réglage le plus bas.
5.
Cet appareil possède un dispositif d’allumage qui allume auto matiquement le brûleur. N’essayez pas d’allumer le brûleur à la main.
6.
Fermez la soupape de gaz manuelle en la plaçant sur la position “OFF” (poignée perpendiculaire à la direction
du flux). Ne forcez pas.
7.
Attendez cinq (5) minutes pour évacuer tout le gaz. Si vous sentez alors du gaz, ARRÊTEZ-VOUS ! Suivez le
paragraphe “B” dans les informations de sécurité situées au-dessus de cette étiquette. Si vous ne sentez pas
de gaz, passez à l’étape suivante.
8.
Placez les potentiomètres de chauffage sur le réglage souhaité.
9.
Placez le thermostat sur le réglage souhaité le cas échéant.
10 .
Mettez sous tension l’appareil en branchant le cordon électrique.
11.
Tournez la soupape de gaz manuelle en la plaçant sur la position “ON” (poignée parallèle à la direction du
flux).
12.
Tournez le bouton de sélection dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre sur le réglage ( ) d’hiver ou ( ) d’été.
13.
Si l’appareil ne fonctionne pas, suivez les instructions “Pour couper le gaz de l’appareil” et appelez
votre technicien d’entretien ou votre fournisseur de gaz.
POUR COUPER LE GAZ DE L’APPAREIL
AVERTISSEMENT : si une surchauffe se produit ou si l’alimentation en gaz ne se
coupe pas, coupez l’alimentation externe en gaz de l’appareil. N’éteignez pas l’alimentation électrique de la pompe.

Tournez le bouton de sélection dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre en le plaçant sur
la position off.
2.
Fermez la soupape de gaz manuelle en la plaçant sur la position “OFF” (poignée perpendiculaire à la
direction du flux). Ne forcez pas.
3.
Une fois que la pompe a eu la possibilité de dissiper la chaleur de l’appareil, mettez l’appareil hors tension en débranchant le cordon électrique.
AVERTISSEMENT : si vous ne suivez pas précisément ces instructions, un incendie ou une explosion pour-
raient se produire et provoquer des dommages aux objets, des blessures aux person
nes ou la mort.
– AVERTISSEMENT: En ne suivant pas scrupuleusement les informations contenues dans ce manuel vous risquez de
provoquer une explosion qui pourrait se solder par des dégâts matériels, des préjudices personnels ou un accident
mortel.
– Ne rangez pas cet appareil, ou tout autre appareil, et ne l'utilisez pas à proximité de liquides inflammables ou d'essence
.
– QUE FAIRE SI VOUS SENTEZ UNE ODEUR DE GAZ :
• Ne tenez d'allumer aucun appareil.
• Ne touchez aucun interrupteur électrique, n'utilisez pas le téléphone de votre immeuble.
• Allez chez un voisin et appelez immédiatement votre compagnie de gaz.
• Si vous n'arrivez pas à le contacter, appelez les pompiers.
– Les opérations de montage et de dépannage doivent être confiées à un monteur professionnel, au SAV ou à la compa-
gnie de gaz.

1 ALLUMAGE DE LA CHAUDIÈRE
(fig. 1)
Ouvrez le robinet de gaz et placez l'aiguille
de la molette du sélecteur dans les positions
suivantes:
• Aved le commutateur rotatif sur Eté
( ), la chaudière démarre s'il y a une
demande d'eau chaude sanitaire et marche à pleine puissance pour atteindre la
température sélectionnée.
La pression d'alimentation en gaz varie
automatiquement pour garantir que la
température obtenue reste constante.
• Avec le commutateur rotatif sur Hiver
( ), lorsque la chaudière a atteint la
valeur configure sur le potentiomètre de
chauffage, elle commence à moduler
automatiquement pour fournir la puissance requise au système.
Le fonctionnement de la chaudière cesse
si le thermostat ou le thermostat horaire interviennent.
ATTENTION: Lorsque vous placez l'aiguille
de la molette sur le réglage voulu vous
n’entendez aucun déclic.
2 RÉGLAGE DES TEMPÉRATURES
(fig. 2)
1. La température de l'eau chaude sanitaire peut être réglée avec la molette du
potentiomètre de l'eau chaude sanitaire, entre 30 et 60°C (86-140° F).
2. La température de l'eau de chauffage
peut être réglée avec la molette du
potentiomètre de l'eau de chauffage,
entre 30 et 80°C (86-176° F).
3. Pour que le rendement de la chaudière
soit toujours excellent, nous vous recom-
mandons de ne pas laisser la température descendre au-dessous de 50°C (122°
F).
3 EXTINCTION DE
LA CHAUDIÈRE (fig. 1)
Avec le sélecteur sur OFF, la chaudière
est en attente, le témoin verte clignote
toutes les 5 secondes et toutes les fonctions sont désactivées, sauf la fonction
antiverrouillage de la pompe. Déplacez le
commutateur bipolaire sur OFF pour
débrancher l'appareil du secteur.
Si vous ne devez pas utiliser la chaudière
pendant assez longtemps, nous vous conseillons de fermer l'arrivée de gaz et, si des
températures très basses sont prévues, de
vider la chaudière et le système hydraulique pour éviter que les tuyaux ne se cassent si l'eau venait à geler.

4 CONVERSION DE GAZ
Si vous devez changer le gaz d'alimentation
de l'appareil pour un gaz pour lequel la
chaudière est aménagée, adressez-vous au
service après-vente.
5 NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
L'entretien préventif et le contrôle du bon
fonctionnement de l'appareil et des dispositifs de sécurité doivent être confiés à du
personnel spécialisé autorisé.
5.1 Entretien gaz et brûleur
Contrôler les conduites de passage du gaz
et les nettoyer tous les six mois.
Contrôler et nettoyer le brûleur tous les six
mois.
Personnel compétent il devra vérifier le
brûleur et si nécessaire le nettoyer à l’aide
d’une petite brosse et d’un aspirateur en
faisant attention de ne pas endommager l’isolation frontale.
Avant le remontage contrôler tous les
joints et remettre en place comme indiqué.
5.2 Entretien de l’aération
Le système d'aération doit être inspecté
visuellement tous les 6 mois pour contrôler
s'il y a des détériorations ou des dépôts.
Il est recommandé d'inspecter les terminaux d'entrée et d'échappement pour vérifier s'il y a des débris ou de la neige qu'il est
nécessaire d'enlever pour ne pas bloquer
l'extrémité.
Toute saleté présente à l'intérieur de la sortie d'air devra être enlevée avec une brosse
à poils doux.
6 RECHERCHE DES PANNES
A. Panne d'allumage/intervention du
thermostat de sécurité (fig. 3)
Si le brûleur ne démarre pas le témoin
rouge signalant le verrouillage s'éclaire.
Pour tenter à nouveau de le démarrer,
placez la molette de sélection sur ( ) et
lâchez-la immédiatement, en revenant à
la position Eté
()
oui Hiver
()
.
Si la panne se reproduit, faites contrôler la chaudière par le personnel spécialisé.
B. Rétablissement de la pression dans le
système de chauffage (fig. 3/a)
Vérifiez régulièrement si la pression du
système est comprise entre 1 et 1,2 bar
(14.5 and 17.4 psi). Si la pression est
inférieure à 1 bar (14.5 psi) lorsque le
système est froid, mettez à niveau jusqu'à
ce que le manomètre se trouve dans la
plage bleu fonce.
L'échelle graduée bleu clair montre le
champ de travail lorsque l'installation de
chauffage fonctionne.
C. Autres panes (fig. 3/b)
Si le témoin orange s'éclaire (panne
sonde PM), éteignez la chaudière et
adressez-vous au service après-vente.
Si le témoin verte clignotante s'éclaire
(panne de ventilateur/pressostat d'échappement) éteignez la chaudière et
adressez-vous au service après-vente.

Si le témoin clignotante orange s'éclaire
(pas de circulation d'eau), éteignez la
chaudière et rallumez-la pour rétablir le
fonctionnement.
Si le témoin s'éclaire à nouveau, éteignez la chaudière et faites intervenir le
service après-vente.
Si la chaudière et le témoin verte de
tension s'éteignent vous pouvez réarmer l'appareil en le débranchant du secteur pendant quelques minutes et en
appuyant sur l'interrupteur principal à
l'extérieur 'e l chaudière.
