1080p Video
1080p (1080 lines of resolution, progressive scan mode) is a new high-resolution video mode used on some of the newest DVD players and TVs. Because of the high signal bandwidth, you will need to use the highest quality cables in order to obtain a solid picture. It is recommended that these cables are HDMI certified. If you have picture problems in 1080p mode you can either reduce the picture mode to 1080i (interlaced) or 720p or purchase higher quality cables that are designed to support 1080p video.
