WARNING: User exposure to tool vibration can result in loss of sense of touch, numbness, tingling and reduced ability to grip. Long term exposure can lead to a chronic condition. - A guard or other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorised service centre unless otherwise indicated in this instruction manual

- Have defective switches replaced by an authorised service centre WARNING: Do not use the tool if the on/off switch does not switch the tool on and off. The

switch must be repaired before the tool is used. 21 - Have your tool repaired by a qualiﬁed person - This electric tool complies with the

relevant safety rules. Repairs should only be carried out by qualiﬁed persons, otherwise this may result in considerable danger to the user

WARNING: When servicing use only identical replacement parts. WARNING: If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an

authorised service centre. 22 - Power tool mains plugs must match the mains socket - Never modify the plug in any

way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodiﬁed plugs and matching sockets will reduce risk of electric shock

23 - If operating a power tool outside use a residual current device (RCD) - Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock

NOTE: The term “residual current device (RCD)” may be replaced by the term “ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI)” or “earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB)”.

WARNING: When used in Australia or New Zealand, it is recommended that this tool is ALWAYS supplied via Residual Current Device (RCD) with a rated residual current of 30mA or less.

WARNING: Before connecting a tool to a power source (mains switch power point receptacle, outlet, etc.) be sure that the voltage supply is the same as that speciﬁed on the nameplate of the tool. A power source with a voltage greater than that speciﬁed for the tool can result in serious injury to the user, and damage to the tool. If in doubt, do not plug in the tool. Using a power source with a voltage less than the nameplate rating is harmful to the motor.

Polarized Plugs (for North America only) To reduce the risk of electric shock, this equipment has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will ﬁt in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not ﬁt fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not ﬁt, contact a qualiﬁed electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

Multi Sharpener Safety

• Grinding can generate sparks – ensure there are no ﬂammable materials in the vicinity when using this tool.

• Do not switch on this tool without a sharpening module in place.

• Do not use the any modules without factory ﬁtted guards in place.

• Do not attempt to install or remove a sharpening module whilst the tool is operating.

• Before removing a sharpening module, switch off the tool and allow the grinding wheel to come to a complete stop.

• Never touch the grinding wheel whilst it is in motion.

• Do not test blade sharpness with your ﬁngertip or other body parts.

• Do not use this tool for more than the time speciﬁed for the duty cycle in the speciﬁcations. Failure to follow this guidance may result in dangerous overheating of the motor and may damage the tool or cause injury to the operator.

Intended Use

Stationary, bench-mounted device with concealed rotating grindstone for sharpening HSS drill bits, chisels, knives, scissors, plane irons and other thin, straight blades.

Unpacking Your Tool

• Carefully unpack and inspect your new tool. Familiarise yourself with all its features and functions

• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or damaged, have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool

Before Use

WARNING: Ensure the tool is disconnected from the power supply before attaching

or changing any accessories, or making any adjustments.

Bench mounting

• For added safety the multipurpose sharpener can be secured to a rigid work surface such as a work bench. This is recommended if the sharpener is to be used in a permanent position

• Use the four Bench Mounting Holes (3) in the base of the Motor Unit as a template to mark and drill four holes in the intended mounting surface. Secure the Motor Unit in position using bolts, washers and nuts (not supplied)

• For a portable arrangement, ﬁx a board to the base of the Motor Unit which can be easily clamped and removed from various mounting surfaces

On-board storage of sharpening modules

• The Module Fixing Slots (6) located on the side faces of the Motor Unit provide on-board storage for sharpening modules when not in use

• Simply slide the modules into the Module Fixing Slots on the sides of the Motor Unit

Fitting a sharpening module

• The sharpening modules provide a guide for safe, precision sharpening of cutting tools

• Do not use the multipurpose sharpener without a sharpening module in place

• There are three sharpening modules:

- Drill Bit Sharpening Module

- Chisel & Plane Sharpening Module

- Knife & Scissor Sharpening Module

Fitting a sharpening module:

1. Slide the appropriate sharpening module into the Module Fixing Slot (6) on the Grinding Wheel (5) face of the Motor Unit

2. Push the module down until it is fully engaged in the Module Release Lever (7) in the base of the Motor Unit. You will hear a ‘click’ as it locks into place

Removing a sharpening module:

• Depress the Module Release Lever and pull the module up and out of the Module Fixing Slot

Operation

WARNING: ALWAYS wear eye protection, adequate respiratory and hearing

protection, as well as suitable gloves, when working with this tool.

Switching on and off

• Switch the sharpener on by depressing the side of the On/Off Switch (4) marked ‘I’

• Switch the sharpener off by depressing the side of the On/Off Switch marked ‘O’

Duty cycle

WARNING: This product has a duty cycle of 30%.

• After every three minutes of use, the sharpener must be allowed to cool down for seven minutes, before continuing with another maximum three minutes’ continuous use

• This product is equipped with a thermal cut-out device to protect the motor

• If the tool cuts out, the duty cycle has been exceeded. Switch off the tool and allow the motor to cool down fully. You will then be able to proceed, using the tool in accordance with the 30% duty cycle

Sharpening HSS Drill Bits

• The multipurpose sharpener will sharpen high-speed steel drill bits of 3 – 13mm diameter

• When sharpening drill bits of 3-3.5mm diameter, ensure the Top Clamp (12) is installed on the Drill Bit Clamp with the protruding face directed inwards (Image A)

• When sharpening drill bits of 3.5-13mm diameter, ensure the Top Clamp is installed on the Drill Bit Clamp with the protruding face directed outwards (Image B)

Preparation:

1. Slide the Drill Bit Sharpening Module into position over the Grinding Wheel (5) on the

Motor Unit

2. Remove the Drill Bit Clamp (11) from the module and loosen the jaw sufﬁciently to insert

the drill bit

3. Tighten the Drill Bit Clamp just to the point where the drill bit is retained but its position

can still be adjusted

4. Place the Drill Bit Clamp in the Alignment Shoe (11), being sure the Drill Bit Clamp

engages the rails on the Alignment Shoe (Image C)

5. Push the drill bit forward and rotate the bit so that it lays in the ‘V’ Guide with the tip in

contact with the metal end stop and the cutting edges are in contact with the metal sides of the ‘V’

6. Tighten the Drill Bit Clamp to secure the drill bit in this position

7. Remove the Drill Bit Clamp, with the drill bit secured in position, and place it in the

Grinding Shoe (8) ensuring the Drill Bit Clamp engages the rails on the Grinding Shoe

8. Check the cutting edges of the drill bit are in contact with the Grinding Wheel. If not,

repeat the alignment procedure

9. The drill bit is now ready for sharpening with the cutting edges positioned at the correct

angle

Sharpening:

1. Switch the tool on and move the top section of the Drill Bit Sharpening Module from side

to side to sharpen both cutting edges (Image D) Note: The amount of sharpening required will depend upon the condition of the cutting

edges

2. Switch the tool off, remove the Drill Bit Clamp from the Grinding Shoe, and then re-

insert it the other way round in order to sharpen the other side of the cutting edges

3. Repeat the sharpening procedure for an equal amount of time then switch the tool off

4. Lift the Drill Bit Clamp out of the Grinding Shoe and check that the leading edges of both

ﬂutes are equally sharp. They should meet exactly in the middle

5. Repeat the sharpening procedure to correct any misalignment as necessary

6. Switch the tool off and allow the Grinding Wheel to stop completely before removing the

Drill Bit Sharpening Module

Sharpening chisels and plane irons

• The multipurpose sharpener will sharpen chisels and plane irons of 6 – 51mm width (1/4” – 2”)

Preparation:

1. Slide the Chisel & Plane Sharpening Module into position over the Grinding Wheel (5) on the Motor Unit

2. Place the blade on the Tool Bed (15) so the side of the chisel or plane iron is adjacent to the lip on the far edge of the Tool Bed. The magnets will help to secure the blade in position

Note: For thin chisel blades, ﬁt the Spacer (16) on to the lip, and ensure the chisel is

adjacent to the spacer.

3. Check the angle of the Tool Bed matches the existing bevelled angle on the blade. This is important to maintain blades at their optimum shaving angle

4. To adjust the angle of the Tool Bed, loosen the Angle Adjustment Knob (13), tilt the Tool Bed to the correct angle, then tighten the Angle Adjustment Knob to secure the Tool Bed at the correct angle

5. Check the edge of the blade is in contact with the Grinding Wheel and that the Guard (14) is ﬁtted. DO NOT use the Chisel & Plane Sharpening Module without the Guard in place

Sharpening:

1. Switch the machine on, and whilst holding the tool in position on the Tool Bed, move the Tool Bed back and forth across the Grinding Wheel, using steady pressure and a continuous, consistent motion (Image E)

2. Do not allow the blade to remain stationary – this will cause uneven sharpening

3. Remove the blade and check the bevelled edge and tip are sharp and even across their entire width

4. If necessary, continue the sharpening procedure to correct any misalignment

5. Switch the machine off and allow the Grinding Wheel to stop completely before removing the Chisel & Plane Sharpening Module

6. After grinding, it is recommended that you hone the blade on an oil stone

Sharpening knives and scissors

• The multipurpose sharpener will sharpen all straight-edged knives and scissors

• To sharpen knives and scissors, slide the Knife & Scissors Sharpening Module into position over the Grinding Wheel (5) on the Motor Unit

Sharpening knives:

1. Switch the tool on

2. Fully insert the knife blade into one of the Knife Sharpening Slots (2), so the cutting edge is facing the Grinding Wheel (Image F)

3. Bring the blade into contact with the Grinding Wheel and draw it slowly towards you, using light pressure to keep the blade in contact with the Grinding Wheel throughout the length of the blade

4. Turn the knife over and insert the blade in the opposite knife sharpening slot. Repeat step 3 to sharpen the other side of the blade

5. Repeat the sharpening process on each side of the blade in turn until a clean, sharp edge is attained

6. Switch the sharpener off and allow the grinding wheel to stop completely before removing the Knife & Scissors Sharpening Module

inspection, maintenance or cleaning.

Replacing the grinding wheel Note: The nut securing the Grinding Wheel (5) is left-hand threaded. To loosen the nut, turn

it clockwise. To tighten the nut, turn it anticlockwise.

1. Remove any module that is obscuring direct access to the Grinding Wheel

2. Whilst holding the Grinding Wheel loosen the securing nut

3. Replace the Grinding Wheel and securing nut

4. Ensure the left-hand threaded nut is securely fastened

General inspection

• Regularly check that all the ﬁxing screws are tight

• Inspect the supply cord of the tool, prior to each use, for damage or wear. Repairs

should be carried out by an authorised SILVERLINE service centre. This advice also applies to extension cords used with this tool

Cleaning WARNING: ALWAYS wear protective equipment including eye protection and gloves when

cleaning this tool.

• Keep the tool clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly and shorten the device’s service life

• Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth

• Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts. If dry cleaning is not sufﬁcient, a mild detergent on a damp cloth is recommended

• Water must never come into contact with the tool

• Ensure the tool is thoroughly dry before using it

• If available, use clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes (where applicable)

Lubrication

• Slightly lubricate all moving parts at regular intervals with a suitable spray lubricant

Brushes

• Over time the carbon brushes inside the motor may become worn

• Excessively worn brushes may cause loss of power, intermittent failure, or visible sparking

• If you suspect that the brushes may be worn, have them replaced at an authorised SILVERLINE service centre

Storage

• Store this tool carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children

Disposal

Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer

functional and are not viable for repair.

• Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), with household waste

• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct way to dispose of power tools

Sharpening scissors:

1. Switch the tool on

2. Open the scissors fully

3. Place one of the blades in the Scissor Sharpening Slot (1), keeping the pivot of the scissors and the other blade to the right hand side (Image G)

4. Draw the length of the blade across the Grinding Wheel (5) from pivot to tip. Use a light, steady pressure; do not press hard

5. Remove and turn the scissors over to sharpen the other blade

6. Repeat sharpening each blade in turn until clean, sharp edges are attained

7. Switch the tool off and allow the Grinding Wheel to stop completely before removing the Knife & Scissors Sharpening Module

deﬁciencies are related to material or manufacturing of the product. Carriage will not be refunded. Items for return must be in a suitably clean and safe state for

repair, and should be packaged carefully to prevent damage or injury during transportation. We may reject unsuitable or unsafe deliveries.

All work will be carried out by Silverline Tools or its authorized repair agents.

The repair or replacement of the product will not extend the period of guarantee

Defects recognised by us as being covered by the guarantee shall be corrected by means of repair of the tool, free of charge (excluding carriage charges) or by replacement with a tool in perfect working order.

Silverline Tools does not guarantee repairs required as a result of: Normal wear and tear caused by use in accordance with the operating instructions eg

and other related items. Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, careless

operation or handling of the product. Use of the product for anything other than normal domestic purposes. Change or modiﬁcation of the product in any way. Use of parts and accessories which are not genuine Silverline Tools components. Faulty installation (except installed by Silverline Tools). Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than Silverline Tools or its authorized

Battery Guarantee

Silverline batteries are guaranteed for 30 days. If a defect occurs on a registered battery during the term of the Battery Guarantee, due to material or manufacturing fault, then Silverline will replace it free of charge. This guarantee does not apply to commercial use nor does it extend to normal wear and tear or damage as a result of accident, abuse or misuse.

11. Ne pas maltraiter le cordon électrique. Ne jamais utiliser le cordon électr ique pour porter, tirer ou débrancher l’appareil. Protéger le cordon électrique de la chaleur, du contact avec l’essence, des bords tranchants et pièces rotatives. Un cordon électr ique endommagé ou entortillé accroît le risque de décharge électrique.

12. Immobiliser votre travail. Si possible, ut iliser des serre -joints ou un étau pour maintenir la pièce de t ravail. C’est plus sûr et efﬁ cace que de tenir avec la main.

- Veiller à ce qu e les outils de coupe soient tenus affûtés et pro pres.

15. Débrancher l’appareil électrique. Lorsque l’appareil n’est pas utilisé, ou avant t out opération d’entretien ou de changement d’accessoires, veiller à débrancher l’appareil de sa source d’alimentation.

ATTENTION : utiliser des accessoires non recommandés par le fabricant peut engendrer des blessures.

16. Enlever les clés et outils de réglage. Prendre l’habitude de retirer ces outils avant de

mettre l’appareil en marche.

18. Usage en extérieur : Lors d’une ut ilisation de l’app areil électrique en extér ieur, se servir

20. Inspecter les pièces endommagées

- Avant d’utiliser un appareil, toujours vé riﬁer qu’il soit en bon état de marche.

- Vériﬁe r que les éléments rotatif s soient bien alignés et non grippés. S’as surer de l’absence

de pièces c assées ou endommagées sus ceptibles de nuir e au bon fonctionnement de l'appareil.

- Une protection o u partie défec tueuse doit êt re réparée ou remplacée par un c entre agrée,

sauf en cas d’indica tion du manuel.

- Les inte rrupteurs déf ectueux doivent être remplacés par un centre agrée.

ATTENTION : ne pas utiliser un appare il électrique dont la comman de ne s’effectue plus par l’interrupteur marche-arrêt. Il est dangereux et doit être réparé.

21. Ne faire réparer votre appareil électrique que par un réparateur qualiﬁé. Cet

appareil est conf orme aux normes de sécurité en vigueur. Cela permet de maintenir la sécuri té d’utilisatio n de l’appareil électrique et d’éviter des risques considérab les pour l’utilisateur.

ATTENTION : utiliser uniquement des pièces de rechange identiques. ATTENTION : si le câble d’alimentation est endommagé, le fair e remplacer par un centre

agrée.

22. La prise d’un appareil électrique doit être adaptée à la prise du secteur. Ne jamais

modiﬁer la prise en aucune façon. Ne jamais utiliser d’adaptateur sur la prise électrique d’appareil mis à la terre. Des prises non modi ﬁées, adaptée s aux boîtiers de prise de co urant, réduiront le risque de décharge électrique.

peut être évitée, utiliser une alimentation protégée par un disjoncteur différentiel.

ATTENTION : Avant de brancher un appa reil sur une source d ’alimen tation (prise secteu r, groupe él ectrogène, et c.) assurez-vous que la tensio n fournie soit la même que celle spéciﬁ ée sur la plaque de l’app areil. Une sourc e d’alimentation avec une tensi on supérieure à celle indiquée sur l’appareil peut engendrer de sérieuses blessures pour l’utilisateur et endommager l’appar eil. En cas de doute, ne branch ez pas l’appareil. Une source d’aliment ation avec une tens ion inférieure à celle indiquée sur l’appareil est néf aste pour le moteur.

Prises polarisées (uniquement pour les pays de l’Amérique du Nord). Pour ré duire les risques de chocs électriques, cet appareil comporte une prise polarisée (une des ﬁches est plus large que l’autre). Cet te prise se branche dans une prise de courant polarisée uniquement dans un sens. Si la prise ne rentre pas complètement, inverser la prise. Sinon, contacter un électricien qualiﬁé p our installer une prise de courant ada ptée. Ne pas changer la prise de l’appareil.

Consignes générales de sécurité relatives aux affûteuses multifonction

• L’opération d’affûtage peut générer des étincelles – assurez-vous qu’il n’y ait aucun matériau inﬂammable à proximité lorsque vous utilisez cet appareil.

• N’allumez l’appareil qu’une fois qu’un module d’affûtage est en place.

• N’utilisez que des modules pourvus de systèmes de protections intégrés.

• N’essayez pas d’installer ni de retirer un module d’affûtage alors que l’appareil est en marche.

• Avant de retirer un module d’affûtage, éteignez l’appareil et attendez que le disque de meulage soit complètement arrêté.

• Ne touchez jamais le disque de meulage alors qu’il est encore en train de tourner.

• N’utilisez jamais vos doigts ni quelque autre partie de votre corps pour vériﬁer si une lame est assez aiguisée.

• N’utilisez pas cet appareil pendant un temps supérieur au cycle opératoire indiqué. Le non-respect de cette consigne vous expose à un grave risque de surchauffe du moteur qui pourrait avoir pour conséquence d’endommager l’appareil ou de provoquer des blessures à l’utilisateur.

Usage conforme

Appareil stationnaire monté sur établi et pourvu d’une meule rotative dissimulée pour réaliser l’affûtage de forets en acier HSS (acier rapide), burins, couteaux, ciseaux, fers de rabots, et autres lames ﬁnes et droites.

Déballage

• Déballez le produit avec soin. Veillez à retirer tout le matériau d’emballage et familiarisez-vous avec toutes les caractéristiques du produit.

• Assurez-vous que toutes les pièces soient présentes et si certaines pièces sont endommagées ou manquantes, faites-les réparer ou remplacer avant d’utiliser l’appareil.

Avant utilisation

ATTENTION : Assurez-vous que l’outil est éteint et débranché de la source

d’alimentation avant de procéder à l’installation ou au retrait d’un accessoire, ou de réaliser toute opération de réglage, de nettoyage ou d’entretien.

Montage de l’affûteuse multifonction

• Pour garantir davantage de sécurité, l’affûteuse multifonction peut être ﬁxée sur une surface de travail rigide, telle qu’un établi. Ceci est particulièrement conseillé si l’affûteuse est destinée à être utilisée dans un endroit bien déﬁni et de façon permanente.

• Servez-vous des quatre trous de montage (3) situés sur l’embase du bloc-moteur comme d’un gabarit pour marquer et perforer quatre trous dans la surface de montage envisagée. Fixez le bloc-moteur en place au moyen de boulons, rondelles et écrous (non fournis).

• Alternativement, pour jouir davantage de portabilité, ﬁxez une planche sous l’embase du bloc-moteur, qui pourra aussi bien être immobilisée à l’aide de serre-joints qu’être déplacée vers une autre surface d’utilisation.

Rangement intégré des modules d’affûtage

• Les plots de ﬁxation de modules (6) de chaque côté du bloc-moteur permettent de ranger les modules d’affûtage à même la machine lorsqu’ils ne sont pas en service.

• Faites simplement coulisser les modules dans les rainures formées par les plots sur les côtés du bloc-moteur.

Installation d’un module d’affûtage

• Les modules d’affûtage constituent un guide permettant d’aiguiser des outils de coupe avec précision et en toute sécurité.

• N’utilisez pas l’affûteuse sans avoir préalablement installé de module d’affûtage.

• Vous disposez de trois modules d’affûtage :

- Module d’affûtage de mèches

- Module d’affûtage pour burins et rabots

- Module d’affûtage pour couteaux et ciseaux

Pour installer un module d’affûtage :

1. Faites coulisser le module d’affûtage approprié sur les fentes de ﬁxation du module (6) de

chaque côté du disque de meulage (5).

2. Enfoncez-le jusqu’à ce qu’il s’emboîte dans le mécanisme de retenue situé dans l’embase

du bloc-moteur (7). Il produira un déclic sonore en s’emboîtant.

Pour retirer un module d’affûtage :

• Appuyez sur le poussoir de dégagement de module et tirez le module vers le haut pour le

dégager des fentes de ﬁxation.

Instructions d’utilisation

ATTENTION : Portez TOUJOURS des lunettes de protection, des protections

respiratoires et auditives appropriées ainsi que des gants adaptés à la tâche à réaliser lorsque vous travaillez avec cet outil.

Mise en marche et arrêt

• Pour allumer l’affûteuse, appuyez sur le côté de l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (4) portant le

symbole « I ».

• Pour éteindre l’affûteuse, appuyez sur le côté de l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (4) portant

le symbole « O ».

Cycle opératoire

AVERTISSEMENT : Cet appareil a un cycle opératoire de 30 %.

• Après trois minutes d’utilisation, vous devez laisser l’affûteuse refroidir pendant sept minutes avant de pouvoir reprendre à l’utiliser pendant un autre cycle d’utilisation continue de trois minutes maximum.

• Cet appareil est pourvu d’un dispositif de protection thermique du moteur qui éteint automatiquement l’appareil en cas de surchauffe.

• Si cela se vériﬁe, cela signiﬁe que le cycle opératoire a été dépassé. Appuyez sur l’interrupteur pour effectivement éteindre l’appareil et attendez jusqu’à ce que le moteur ait complètement refroidi. Une fois que le moteur aura refroidi, vous aurez la possibilité de réutiliser l’appareil, mais toujours en veillant de respecter le cycle opératoire de 30 % prévu.

Affûtage de mèches HSS (acier rapide)

• Cette affûteuse multifonction est conçue pour affûter les mèches en acier rapide de 3 à 13 mm de diamètre.

• Lorsque vous affûtez des mèches de 3 à 3,5 mm de diamètre, veillez ce que la vis de serrage supérieure (12) soit positionnée sur la vis de serrage de mèches avec la partie saillante tournée vers l’intérieur (Image A).

• Lorsque vous affûtez des mèches de 3 à 13 mm de diamètre, veillez ce que la vis de serrage supérieure soit positionnée sur la vis de serrage de mèches avec la partie saillante tournée vers l’extérieur (Image B).

Préparation

1. Installez le module d’affûtage de mèches en le faisant glisser au-dessus du disque de

meulage (5) sur le bloc-moteur.

2. Retirez la vis de serrage de mèche (11) du module et produisez une ouverture sufﬁsante

pour pouvoir insérer la mèche.

3. Resserrez la vis de sorte à retenir la mèche tout en pouvant encore ajuster sa position.

4. Placez la vis de serrage de mèche dans le sabot d’alignement (11), en vous assurant que

l’ensemble s’insère bien dans les rails de guidage du sabot d’alignement (Image C).

5. Repoussez la mèche vers l’avant et faites tourner la mèche sur elle-même de manière

à ce qu’elle pénètre dans la fente de guidage en V, sa pointe en contact avec la butée métallique et ses tranchants en contact avec les côtés métalliques du V.

6. Resserrez la vis pour maintenir la mèche dans cette position.

7. Retirez la vis, toujours porteuse de la mèche, et installez-la dans la semelle d’affûtage

(8), en faisant attention à ce que l’ensemble s’insère bien dans les rails de guidage de la semelle d’affûtage.

8. Vériﬁez que les tranchants de la mèche soient bien au contact de la meule. Dans le cas

contraire, recommencez la procédure d’alignement.

9. La mèche est prête à affûter, ses tranchants orientés selon l’angle approprié.
