Digital Infrared Thermometer
Operation
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:
• Press the trigger (2) to activate the
thermometer.
• Press the laser switch (5) to activate the laser.
• Press the ˚F/˚C switch to change the
reading from fahrenheit to celcius.
• Aim the thermometer at the target and
press the trigger to read the temperature
of the object.
• Release the trigger, the temperature will be
displayed for 5 seconds.
• Press the " " switch (6) to activate the
LED light.
NOTE
• Shiny or polished surfaces can give
inaccurate readings. To compensate for
this, cover the surface with masking tape or
matt paint.
• The thermometer cannot measure
through transparent surfaces such as
glass or plastic. It will measure the
surface temperature instead.
CAUTION
Do not look directly at the laser
• Not recomended for taking human
temperature.
• Protect the thermometer from
electro-magnetic interference, induction
heaters and microwave ovens.
• Keep the thermometer away from electrostatic
discharge.
• Protect the thermometer from thermal
shock, caused by large or abrupt
ambient temperature changes. Allow 30
minutes for the thermometer to stabilize
before use if exposed to large
temperature swings.
• Do not leave the thermometer on or
near hot objects.
• Remove battery during periods of prolonged
inactivity.
STORAGE & MAINTENANCE
Keep the thermometer dry; if it gets wet, wipe it dry
immediately. Use and store the thermometer only in
temperature environments as given on these
instructions.
Handle the thermometer very carefully; do not drop it.
Keep the thermometer away from dust and dirt, and
keep clean with a damp cloth.
