instructions for use are a part of this product. They
contain important information concerning safety,
use and disposal. Before using the product, please
familiarise yourself with all the operating and safety instructions. The product must only be used as
described and for the specified fields of application. When passing this product on to third parties,

Remove the plug-in mains

- if a malfunction occurs,
- before you clean the product,
- if you have not used the
product for a long time,
- during a thunderstorm and
- after each use.
When doing so, remove the
plug-in mains adapter directly
from the socket and do not pull
it out using the supply cord.
Avoid risk

Do not use the product if you
detect any kind of visible,
external damage. Never use a

If liquid gets into the product,
check before using the product

If you notice that the supply

Connect the plug-in mains

well within reach.
Never use the product unsuper-

Connect the supply cord to the

The tips of the attachments are
sharp.
Switch off the product before
attaching or switching the attachments, as well as before
cleaning.
Lay the supply cord so nobody
will step on or trip over it.
Do not use the product if you
have an open wound, cut, sunburn or blister.

also damage the product. Always keep animals away from

Protect the product from moisture,
drops of water and splashing

Ensure that the supply cord
does not get stuck in cupboard

Use the original accessories
only.
Do not place the product on hot
surfaces, near hot surfaces or
near an open fire.

Risk of batteries / rechargeable batteries leakage
Avoid extreme environmental
conditions and temperatures,
which could affect batteries /
rechargeable batteries, e.g.
radiators / direct sunlight.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes
and mucous membranes. In the
event of contact with battery
acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of clean
water and seek immediate
medical attention.
WEAR PROTECTIVE
GLOVES! Leaked or
damaged batteries / rechargea-
ble batteries can cause burns
on contact with the skin. Wear
suitable protective gloves at all
times if such an event occurs.
This product contains a re-
chargeable battery which cannot be removed. The removal or
replacement of the rechargeable battery may only be carried
out by the manufacturer or his
customer service or by a similarly qualified person in order to
avoid hazards. When disposing
of the product, it should be
noted that this product contains
a rechargeable battery.

Before use
Note: The product may be powered using the
built-in rechargeable battery or the plug-in mains
adapter.
Remove all parts from the package.
Charging
Note: Before first use, the rechargeable battery in
the product should be charged for at least 90 minutes. A charging time of 90 minutes is also required subsequently.

Operating using the plug-in mains adapter
If the product stops working during use due to an
empty or insufficient battery, you can continue if
the plug-in mains adapter is connected.

To avoid injuries and damage to the product,
always switch the product off before connecting to the plug-in mains adapter

Oiling the blades
It is recommended that you oil the blades before
first use and after cleaning to guarantee complete
functionality (see Fig. E).
Apply one or two drops of blade oil 14 bet-
ween the blades and distribute them evenly.
Wipe away any excess oil using a cloth.
You can also use any acid-free oil such as
sewing machine oil.

thumbs, as depicted in Fig. G.
Setting the trim length
To set different trim lengths, hold the upper part

Trimming hair
Begin by using the longer comb attachment 11
and trim the hair gradually to the desired length.
Note that the desired trim length can only be
achieved if the product is held perpendicularly
to the skin‘s surface.
Avoid making sudden movements when trim-
ming.

volume of the hair by collecting and cutting only
some of it off.
Place the thinning attachment 12 onto the pro-
duct as described in the chapter „Changing
the attachments.“

Trimming beards
Note that the desired trim length can only be
achieved if the product is held perpendicularly
to the skin‘s surface.
Comb the beard using the supplied comb 17
in its direction of growth.
Shorten the beard downwards from the ear to
the chin, one side after the other.
Use the cutting unit 1 without the comb
attachment
to trim a moustache or hairline.

must be recycled in accordance with Directive
2006/66/EC and its amendments. Return the battery and / or the product through the appropriate

Improper disposal of rechargea-
ble batteries can damage the
environment!
Rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of
with the household refuse. They may contain toxic
heavy metals and require to be handled as special
waste. The chemical symbols of heavy metals are:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is
why you should dispose of used batteries at a local collection point.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before
delivery. In the event of product defects you have
legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your
legal rights are not limited in any way by our
warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the
date of purchase. Should this product show any
fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years
from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of
purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in
a safe location. This document is required as your
proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if
the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product
parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage
to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.

Træk stikkontaktnetdelen ud af
stikdåsen
- når der optræder en forstyrrelse,
- inden De rengører produktet,
- når De i længere tid ikke benytter produktet,
- under et uvejr og
- efter hver brug.
Træk derved direkt ved stikkontaktnetdelen og ikke ved
netkablet.
Undgå risiko for
tilskadekomst
Byt ikke tilbehøret, når produktet
er tændt.
Anvend ikke produktet, når De
konstaterer nogle synlige udvendige beskadigelser. Tag ikke et
beskadiget produkt i brug.
Skulle der trænge væske ind i
produktet, så kontrollér dette
inden fornyet brug.
Skulle der konstateres en skade
ved netkablet, stikkontaktnetdelen, ved kabinettet eller andre
dele, så må produktet fortsat
ikke bruges.
Lad reparationer kun udføres af
en fagforhandler. Uhensigtsmæssige reparationer kan resultere i
alvorlige farer for brugeren.
Desuden ophører ethvert
garantikrav.
