Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating and safety

Safety precautions for the avoidance of excessive exposure
to microwave energy
► Do not try to operate the appliance while the door is open,
as this can lead to you being exposed to a potentially harmful
dose of microwave radiation. It is also important not to break
open or manipulate the safety locks.

► Do not jam anything between the front of the appliance and
the door, and make sure that there is no food or cleaning
agent residue left on the seals.

► Never submerse the appliance, the power cable or the plug
in water or other liquids.

Do not route it in front of the microwave oven door. The heat
could damage the cable.

in this manual. Do not use any caustic chemicals or vapours
in this appliance. This microwave oven is designed especially
for heating, cooking or grilling foodstuff s. It is not intended
for use in industrial applications or laboratories.
► Do not operate the microwave oven if the power cable or
plug are damaged. To avoid injury, arrange for damaged
power cables or plugs to be exchanged by qualifi ed specialists before re-using the appliance.
► Keep children well away from the microwave oven when it is
in use. Risk of burns!
► Under no circumstances should you remove the microwave
oven housing.
► If the lamp in the interior of the microwave oven needs re-
placing, have this done by a qualifi ed specialist.
► Never touch the microwave oven door, housing, ventilation
openings, accessories or the crockery directly after the grill,
combi or automatic menu process. The parts will be very
hot. Allow them to cool down before cleaning them.
► Ensure that the plug is easily accessible at all times, so that it
can be removed quickly in the event of an emergency.

► People fi tted with a heart pacemaker should consult their
doctor about the possible risks of using a microwave oven
before using it.
► Do not allow the power cable to hang down from a table or
work surface. Children could pull on it.
► After heating, always open containers, popcorn bags, etc.
so that the opening faces away from your body. Escaping
steam could cause scalds.
► Never stand directly in front of the microwave oven when
opening the door. Escaping steam could cause scalds.
► Do not fry foods in the microwave. Hot oil can damage
parts of the appliance and utensils and even cause skin
burns.
► Always shake up or stir heated up jars of baby food or baby
bottles! The contents can heat up unevenly and burn or scold
your baby. Always check the temperature before you feed
your baby!
► Do not modify the microwave oven.
► Microwave radiation is dangerous! Maintenance and repairs
requiring the removal of access covers, which are intended for
protection against contact with microwave radiation, are to
be carried out by trained specialists only.
► Always check the temperature of the food before eating, to
avoid a potentially life-threatening burning injury, for instance,
to babies. Cooking utensils can become hot from the heat
emitted by the food, therefore you may require oven gloves
to touch them. Cooking utensils must also be checked to
ensure they are microwaveable.

► Never leave the microwave oven unattended if you are
heating foodstuff s packed in plastics or paper.
► Do not place fl ammable materials close to the microwave
oven or the ventilation openings.
► Remove all metallic closures from the packaging of the food-
stuff that you intend to warm up. Risk of fi re!
► When making popcorn, use only microwaveable popcorn
bags.
► Do not use the microwave oven to warm up cushions fi lled
with kernels, cherry stones or gels. Risk of fi re!
► Do not use the microwave oven for storing foodstuff s or
other objects.
► Do not exceed the cooking times given by the manufacturer.
► Do not place any objects on the microwave oven when it is
in use. This will block the ventilation openings!
► Do not place the microwave oven next to other appliances
discharging heat, for example, an oven.
► Clean the microwave oven thoroughly after warming up
greasy foods, especially if they were not covered. Allow the
appliance to cool down completely before cleaning it. Residues such as fat or grease cannot be allowed to collect on
the heating elements of the grill. They could possibly ignite.

► Do not thaw frozen fat or oil in the microwave oven. The fat
or oil could ignite.
► Do not use an external timer switch or a separate remote
control system to operate the appliance.
► This microwave is designed for heating foods and drinks.
Drying foods or clothing or the warming of heating pads,
slippers, sponges, damp cloths or similar can lead to injuries,
ignition of the material or fi res.
► This cooking appliance should be cleaned regularly and all
food residues should be removed.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Never operate the microwave when it is empty.
The only exception to this is the fi rst use (see section "First
use"), during which the microwave may be operated empty
for a brief period in the "Grill" operating mode "Grill".
► Never insert any foreign objects into the ventilation openings
or the door safety locks.
► Do not use metallic utensils which could refl ect microwaves
and lead to sparking. Do not place cans in the microwave
oven.
► Do not place plastic containers in the microwave oven imme-
diately after a grill, combi or automatic menu process.
The plastic could melt.
► The microwave oven may not be set up in areas with high
humidity or where moisture could collect.

CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not heat liquids and other foods in airtight containers, as
these may explode and damage the appliance.
► Do not lean on the microwave oven door.
► Insuffi cient cleanliness of the appliance could lead to the
destruction of the upper surfaces, which themselves aff ect its
useful lifespan and could possibly lead to dangerous situations.
► Use only microwave-suitable cookware.
NOTES ON SAFE USE
► To minimize the risk of fi re in the microwave: When heating
food in plastic or paper containers, always keep an eye on
the microwave when it is in operation, as these materials can
catch fi re.
► When heating drinks in the microwave, bubbling may be
delayed when the drink boils. Therefore, be careful when
handling the container. To avoid sudden bubbling-up:
– If possible, place a glass rod in the fl uid for as long as it
is being heated.
– To avoid unexpected bubbling-up, leave the liquid to stand
in the microwave oven for about 20 seconds after heating.
► Puncture the skins of potatoes, sausages and similar food
items. Otherwise, they could explode.
► Be careful when heating liquids. Use only open containers,
so that any air bubbles produced can escape.

NOTES ON SAFE USE
► If the appliance starts to give off smoke, switch it off immedi-
ately or remove the plug from the mains, and keep the door
closed to smother any fl ames that might otherwise escape.
► Eggs in their shells and hard-boiled eggs should not be
heated in the microwave oven as they could explode, even
after completion of the heating process.
Food with thick skins, such as potatoes, whole pumpkins,
apples and chestnuts must be pricked before cooking.
► Do not move the microwave oven when it is in use.
EARTHING INFORMATION /
CORRECT INSTALLATION
► This appliance must be earthed. This appliance is to be
connected only to a correctly earthed power socket. An
individual circuit solely for the connection of the microwave
is recommended.
DANGER! Improper use of the earthing connector
could increase the risk of an electric shock.
NOTE: If you have any questions about earthing or the
electrical aspects of these instructions, please consult an
electrician or a maintenance technician.
► Neither the manufacturer nor the dealer can accept liability
for damage to the microwave oven or injury to persons resulting from failure to comply with the instructions for electrical
connection.

INTERFERENCE WITH OTHER APPLIANCES
► The operation of the microwave may cause interference on
your radio, television or similar appliances.
If such interference occurs, it can be reduced or corrected
by the following remedial measures:
– Clean the door and the seals of the microwave.
– Realign the aerial of your radio or television.
– Set up the microwave in a diff erent place to the
receiver.
– Move the microwave away from the receiver.
– Plug the microwave into another wall socket. The
microwave and the receiver should be connected to
diff erent circuits.
Before you begin
Basic principles of microwave cookery
■ Arrange the food in a sensible manner.
■ Place the thickest parts near the edges.
■ Pay attention to the cooking time. Select the shortest possible stated cooking
time and increase as required. Food that is cooked too long can begin to
smoke or catch fi re.
■ Cover the food during cooking with a lid suitable for microwave cookery.
The lid prevents splashing and helps in the even cooking of the food.
■ While cooking, turn the food in the microwave once so that items such as
chicken or hamburgers are cooked more quickly.
■ Large pieces of food, such as joints of meat, must be turned at least once.
■ Completely rearrange foods, such as meatballs, after half the cooking time.
Turn them and move the meatballs from the middle of the plate to the edge.

Use suitable cookware
■ The ideal material for a microwave oven is microwave-permeable, allowing
the energy to penetrate the container to heat the food. Microwaves cannot
permeate metal. For this reason, metal containers and cookware should not
be used.
■ When using the microwave for heating, do not use products made of recycled
paper. These can contain minute fragments of metal, which can generate
sparks and/or fi res.
■ We recommend the use of round/oval cookware instead of square or oblong
containers, as food in corner areas tends to overcook. The following list
provides general hints to assist you in selecting the correct cookware.

WARNING – RISK OF FIRE!
► Never use the grill stand t or other metallic objects when you are using
the appliance in the microwave mode or in combination cooking mode
(the exception here is the turntable 3). Metals refl ect the microwave
radiation and this leads to the generation of sparks. This can cause a fi re
and irreparably damage the appliance!

First use
NOTE ON HEATING UP FOR THE FIRST TIME
► Never operate the microwave in "Microwave" mode
when it is empty!
► When heating up for the fi rst time, operate the
microwave without food or accessories in the
operating mode "Grill" (Gr 3)!
(see section "Preparing the appliance")
Setting up the device
WARNING – RISK OF FIRE!
► This microwave oven is not suitable for installation in a kitchen cabinet.
Suffi cient ventilation for the appliance cannot be assured in enclosed cabinets. The appliance could be damaged and there is an additional risk of
a fi re!
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
►
Do not install the microwave above a cooker or any other appliance
generating heat. Installation in such a location could cause damage to
the appliance and thus invalidation of the warranty.
■ Select an level surface off ering suffi cient space for the adequate ventilation
of the appliance:
Ensure that you maintain a minimum clearance of 10 cm from neighbouring
walls/surfaces. Make sure that the door of the microwave oven can be
opened easily.
Keep a gap of at least 20 cm free above the microwave.
■ Ensure that the power plug is easily accessible, so that it can be easily
reached and unplugged in case of danger.
■ Do not remove the feet underneath the microwave oven.
■ Do not block the ventilation slits 5. If you do, it could cause damage to the
appliance.
■ Install the appliance as far away as possible from radios and televisions.
The operation of the microwave oven can cause interference to radio and
television reception.

Preparing the appliance
■ Remove the packaging material and the protective fi lms from the panel and
the door opener button 2.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not remove the light grey mica cover plate, which
is mounted inside the cooking chamber to protect the
magnetron.
■ Insert the plug into a mains power socket. Use a 230–240V ~, 50 Hz,
mains power socket with a 16 amp fuse. It is recommended that the microwave oven is powered from its own power circuit. If you are unsure about
how to connect the microwave oven, consult a specialist.
■ Before the fi rst regular usage of the microwave oven the appliance must be
heated up to remove any remaining production residues.
■ After inserting the mains plug into the socket, open the microwave door once
by pressing the door opener button 2.
Switch the appliance on in Grill mode without any food or accessories (turntable 3
and grill stand t):
NOTE ON HEATING UP FOR THE FIRST TIME
► Only operate the microwave without food or acces-
sories when heating up for the fi rst time.
Operate the microwave for a maximum of 5 minutes
when empty!
1) Press the Grill button 7 . "Gr 1" appears on the display 1.
2) Turn the control dial r
, until "Gr 3" and the and symbols appear
on the display 1 and confi rm your choice by pressing the start/quick start
button r .
3) Use the control dial r
to set a cooking time of 5 minutes.
4) Press start/quick start r
to start the grilling process.

NOTE
►
The appliance may generate light smoke and a slight smell during initial
use. This is due to the production residues and is not harmful. Provide for
suffi cient ventilation. For example, open a window.
After 5 minutes, the appliance will switch itself off automatically. Wait until it has
cooled down completely.
5) Remove the plug from the mains power socket and clean the inside of the

Standby mode
The microwave oven automatically switches to standby mode and the time is
displayed if no button is pressed for a long time. A few seconds after switching to
standby mode, the display lighting is also dimmed.
Setting the kitchen timer
The microwave oven is provided with a kitchen timer which you can use independently of the microwave operation.
1) Press the timer button w when the appliance is in standby mode. "0:00" and
the symbol
will appear on the display 1.
2) Set the desired time using the control dial r
.
You can select any time from 10 seconds to 95 minutes.
3) Press the start/quick start button r
. The appliance beeps. The time starts
counting down. After approx. 3 seconds the current time is shown once
again. The cooking timer continues to run in the background.
If you wish to check the progress of the kitchen timer, press the timer button w.
The timer appears for a short time on the display.
As soon as the programmed time period has expired, you will hear some beeps.
Child safety lock
Activate this setting to prevent accidental activation by children and other persons
not familiar with the operation of the appliance.
The symbol for the child safety lock
appears on the display 1, and the appli-
ance cannot be put into operation for as long as this function is activated.
■ Press and hold the stop/child safety lock button e until you hear a
beep and the child safety lock symbol appears on the display 1. The buttons
and the control dial are now deactivated.
■ To deactivate the child safety lock, press and hold the stop/child safety lock
button e until you hear a beep and the symbol for the child safety
lock disappears.

Query the time during operation

■ Press the stop button e twice to stop the cooking process. The appli-
ance reverts to standby mode.
Heating and cooking
NOTE

This microwave is equipped with a cooling function. This means that after
a cooking or grill process of at least two minutes, the appliance fan will
continue running for approximately 3 minutes. This is not a malfunction of
the appliance! The rapid cooling helps to prolong the life of the appliance.
Microwave operation

Programming the cooking time
After you have selected the power level, programme in the desired cooking time:

There are 3 grill levels available:
■ Grill function "Top heat" (Gr 1):
With this function, the heat comes only from above. Only the upper grill is
activated. Therefore, this grill function is ideal for making topped sandwiches
and gratins.
■ Grill function "Bottom heat" (Gr 2):
With this function, the heat comes only from below. Only the lower grill is
activated. Therefore, this grill function is ideal for dishes or food that needs
to be cooked/grilled from below.
■ Grill function "Top and bottom heat" (Gr 3):
With this function, the heat comes from above and below. The upper and
lower grills are activated. This grill function is ideal for thin slices of meat,
steaks, rissoles, sausages or chicken pieces.

Combination cooking mode "Grill"
This function combines the grill function and the normal microwave operation. In
combination mode, a certain amount of time is automatically set aside for cooking
and the remaining time for grilling in a single process. You may notice a quiet
clicking noise when the oven is switching between modes.

■ Combination 3 (C 3):
In Combination 3, the microwave component is 30% and the grill element
amounts to 70% of the cooking time. This is suitable for potatoes.
The microwave function and the grill functions "top and bottom heat" are
used.
■ Combination 4 (C 4):

Automatic menu
It is not necessary to program the duration of the cooking process and the power
level for foods that are prepared in the automatic menu mode. You only need to
enter the type of food you wish to cook and its weight.
WARNING – RISK OF FIRE!
► Do not use lids or non-heat-resistant dishes for programmes using the grill
function (A-01, A-02, A-03, A-04, A-05) as they can melt or catch fi re!
NOTE
►
The microwave calculates the time/powerful level for fresh foods. Frozen
foods will not be fully cooked with the timings set by the microwave (except
for automatic programme "Pizza").
If required, defrost frozen foods using the defrost programme beforehand
(see section "Defrosting").

Rissoles
Preparation
1) Shape approx.125g of minced beef into a patty
(roughly 75 mm in diameter and 35 mm thick).
2) Distribute the rissoles evenly on the turntable 3.
3) You will get the best results if you use the convection and microwave functions
alternately. Wait until each set cooking process is fi nished and then set the
next operation:
1 Convection 200°C, 4:00 mins.
2 Microwave 900 W, 5:30 mins.
3 Convection 200°C, 2:00 mins (depending on personal taste, a time of up
to 4:00 mins is also possible).
Baking frozen ready-made bread rolls
1) Select the convection function to bake the rolls.
2) Place 3 - 4 rolls on the turntable 3.
Preheating of the microwave is not required. Select the following settings for the
baking process:
■ Convection 170°C, duration: 12 minutes
If you wish to bake additional rolls directly afterwards, shorten the baking time

Potato gratin
Ingredients
▯ 750 g waxy potatoes, peeled

Use a microwave-proof, round dish with a lid, height 5–6 cm and a diameter of

Courgette soup
Ingredients
▯ 1 courgette (approx. 250 g)
▯ 80 ml water
▯ 2 teaspoons of powdered vegetable stock
▯ approx. 150 g processed cheese (with herbs)
▯ 100 ml cream
Preparation
1) Finely dice the courgette.
2) Place the courgette, water and the powdered vegetable stock into a suitable
microwaveable container.
3) Start microwave cooking at 700 watts for about 6 minutes.
4) Add the processed cheese and cream.
5) Start microwaving again for 10 minutes at 600 watts.
NOTE
►
You can purée the soup with a hand blender before serving.
This gives the soup a creamy consistency.

Chocolate apple cake
Ingredients
▯ 125 g butter
▯ 125 g sugar
▯ 1 packet of vanilla sugar
▯ 2 eggs
▯ 125 g fl our
▯ 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
▯ 1/2 packet baking powder
▯ 1 apple
▯ a little icing sugar
Preparation
1) Mix the sugar, softened butter, vanilla sugar, eggs, fl our, baking powder and
cocoa powder to make a dough.
2) Peel and core the apples. Chop the apples into small pieces.
3) Fold the apple pieces into the dough.
4) Put the dough into a microwaveable dish.
5) Cook the cake at 900 watts for approx. 9 minutes in the microwave.
6) Allow the cake to cool a bit after cooking before knocking out of the form.
7) Sprinkle a little icing sugar over the cake.

Meat loaf
Ingredients
▯ 500 g minced meat (half and half)
▯ 1/2 onion
▯ 1 egg
▯ 1/2 bread roll
▯ Pepper, salt, paprika powder
For the sauce:
▯ 75 ml water
▯ 1 tbsp mustard
▯ 2 tbsp. tomato ketchup
▯ 2 tbsp. gravy
▯ Nutmeg, parsley, paprika powder
▯ a little sauce thickener (if required)
Preparation
1) Soften the bread in a little water.
2) Finely dice the onion.
3) Mix the mince, onion, egg and the softened bread to make a meat loaf
dough and season with salt and pepper.
4) Form a meat loaf and place it in a microwaveable dish. Sprinkle the meatloaf with paprika powder and cover the dish.
5) Cook the meat loaf for about 18–22 minutes at 700 watts.
6) After cooking, remove 2 tbsp. of stock and mix it with the water, tomato
ketchup and mustard to make a gravy.
7) Pour the gravy over the meat loaf and cook without a lid using the grill
combination 1 (C 1) for about 10 minutes.
8) If necessary, add a little sauce thickener to the gravy.

Cleaning and care
DANGER! ELECTRIC SHOCK!
►
Before cleaning, switch the microwave oven off and remove the plug from
the mains power socket. Otherwise, there is the great risk of receiving an
electric shock!
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. This could
result in you receiving a fatal electric shock and the appliance
could be damaged.
▯ Always keep the interior of the microwave oven clean.
▯ If splashes of food or spilt liquids stick to the walls of the microwave, wipe
them off with a damp cloth.
▯ Use a mild detergent if the microwave is more heavily soiled.
▯ Avoid using cleaning sprays and other aggressive cleaning agents, as they
can cause stains, smears or clouding of the door surface.
▯ Clean the external surfaces with a damp cloth.
▯ To avoid damage to the functional components in the interior of the micro-
wave, do not allow liquids to seep in through the ventilation slits 5.
▯ Remove splashes or soiling. Clean the door, both sides of the viewing
window, door seals and adjacent components with a damp cloth. Do not use
abrasive cleaning agents.
▯ If condensation accumulates on or around the outside of the door, wipe it off
with a soft cloth. This can happen if the microwave is operated in extremely
humid conditions.
▯ Clean the turntable 3 regularly. Rinse it in warm, soapy water.
▯ Clean the grill stand t in warm washing up water and dry it well.
▯ Remove odours regularly. Put a deep microwave bowl with a cup of water,
juice and peel of a lemon into the microwave. Heat for 5 minutes. Wipe off
thoroughly and rub dry with a soft cloth.
▯ If the bulb in the microwave needs replacing, arrange for it to be exchanged
by a dealer or consult our Service Department.

vous qu'aucune salissure ou résidu de détergent ne s'accumule

INTERFÉRENCES CHEZ D'AUTRES APPAREILS
► La mise en service du micro-ondes peut entraîner des pertur-
bations sur votre radio, votre téléviseur ou appareils similaires.
Si de telles interférences devaient se produire, il est possible de
les réduire ou de les éliminer en prenant les mesures suivantes:
– Nettoyage de la porte et joints du micro-ondes.
– Nouvelle orientation de l'antenne de réception de la
radio ou du téléviseur.
– Positionnement du micro-ondes à un autre endroit que
celui où le récepteur est placé.
– Éloignez le micro-ondes du récepteur.
– Branchez le micro-ondes dans une autre prise. Le
micro-ondes et le récepteur doivent utiliser chacun
deux ramifi cations diff érentes du circuit électrique.
Avant de commencer
Principes fondamentaux lors de la cuisson au micro-ondes
■ Disposez les aliments de manière correcte.
■ Placez notamment les morceaux les plus gros près des bords.
■ Veillez au temps de cuisson. Sélectionnez le temps de cuisson le plus court
indiqué et prolongez-le en cas de besoin. Des aliments cuits trop longtemps
peuvent commencer à fumer ou s'enfl ammer.
■ En cours de cuisson, recouvrez les plats avec un couvercle compatible au
micro-ondes. Le couvercle empêche les éclaboussures et contribue également
à la cuisson uniforme des aliments.
■ Pendant la préparation au micro-ondes, retournez les aliments, afi n que les
plats comme le poulet ou les hamburgers soient plus rapidement cuits dans
leur intégralité.
■ Les aliments de grande taille comme un rôti doivent être retournés au moins
une fois.
■ Il est recommandé de remuer entièrement les aliments comme par exemple
des boulettes de viande à mi-cuisson. Tournez-les et déplacez les boulettes
du milieu de l'assiette vers le bord.

Utiliser de la vaisselle de cuisson appropriée
■ Le matériau idéal pour un four à micro-ondes laisse passer les micro-ondes, et
par conséquent l'énergie à travers le récipient, pour réchauff er les aliments.
Les micro-ondes ne passent pas à travers le métal. C'est la raison pour
laquelle il ne faut pas utiliser de récipient ou de vaisselle métallique.
■ N'utilisez pas de produits en papier recyclé pour le réchauff ement au micro-
ondes. Ces derniers peuvent contenir de minuscules fragments métalliques et
générer des étincelles et/ou un incendie.
■ Il est recommandé d'utiliser de la vaisselle ronde/ovale plutôt que rectangu-
laire/oblongue étant donné que les aliments dans les angles risquent d'être
trop cuits. La liste ci-après doit être considérée comme une aide générale
pour le choix correct de la vaisselle.

Préparez l'appareil
■ Retirez le matériau d'emballage et le fi lm de protection fi xé sur le panneau et
la touche d'ouverture de porte 2.
ATTENTION - DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS !
Ne retirez pas la plaque de recouvrement en mica gris
clair car elle sert de protection pour les tubes magnétrons
dans l'espace de cuisson.
■ Branchez la fi che secteur dans une prise secteur. Utilisez une prise électrique
de 230 - 240 V ~, 50 Hz avec un fusible de 16 A. Il est recommandé d'utiliser
un circuit électrique individuel pour l'alimentation du micro-ondes. Si vous
n'êtes pas sûr de la manière dont vous souhaitez raccorder le micro-ondes,
faites appel à un expert.
■ Avant de pouvoir l'utiliser, vous devez tout d'abord réchauff er l'appareil à
vide afi n de faire évaporer tous les résidus liés à la fabrication.
■ Une fois que vous avez inséré la fi che de raccordement dans la prise de cou-
rant, ouvrez la porte du micro-ondes en appuyant sur la touche d'ouverture
de porte 2.
Mettez l'appareil en marche sans aliments et sans accessoires (plateau tournant 3

REMARQUE

En raison de résidus liés à la fabrication, la première mise en service peut
entraîner de légères odeurs ou de la fumée. Ceci est absolument inoff ensif.
Veillez à une aération suffi sante. Ouvrez par exemple une fenêtre.
L'appareil s'arrête automatiquement après 5 minutes. Attendez que l'appareil ait
entièrement refroidi.
5) Retirez la fi che de raccordement de la prise secteur et nettoyez ensuite l'appareil de l'intérieur à l'aide d'un chiff on humide et séchez-le soigneusement.
Mettre le plateau tournant en place
Placez le plateau tournant 3 au milieu de l'axe, dans le compartiment de cuisson.
Veillez à ce qu'il glisse sur l'axe dans son intégralité et qu'il soit fermement en
assise.
Utilisation
Réglage de l'heure
Une fois que vous avez inséré la fi che dans la prise de courant, ouvrez une fois
la porte du micro-ondes. L'écran 1 affi che "1:00". Refermez à nouveau la porte.

. Sur l'écran 1 apparaît "Hr 12".

Mode veille
Le micro-ondes passe automatiquement en mode veille et l'heure est affi chée
lorsqu'aucune touche n'est actionnée pendant quelque temps. Quelques secondes
après le passage en mode veille, l'éclairage de l'écran est également assombri.
Réglage de la minuterie de cuisine
Le micro-ondes dispose d'une minuterie de cuisine que vous pouvez utiliser
indépendamment du fonctionnement du micro-ondes.
1) Appuyez sur la touche Minuterie w lorsque l'appareil est en mode veille.
Sur l'écran 1 apparaît "0:00" et l'icône
.
2) À l'aide du bouton de sélection r
, réglez la durée souhaitée.
Vous pouvez choisir une valeur entre 10 secondes et 95 minutes.
3) Appuyez sur la touche Démarrage/Démarrage rapide r
. Un signal
sonore retentit. Le temps est compté à rebours. Au bout d'env. 3 secondes,
l'heure normale s'affi che à nouveau. La minuterie de cuisine continue en
arrière-plan.
Si vous voulez contrôler entre-temps l'heure de la minuterie de cuisine, appuyez
sur la touche Minuterie w. La minuterie de cuisine s'affi che brièvement.
Lorsque le temps réglé est écoulé, des signaux sonores retentissent.
Sécurité enfant
Activez ce réglage pour empêcher une mise en service accidentelle du micro-ondes
par de jeunes enfants et d'autres personnes non familiarisées avec l'opération.
L'icône de la sécurité enfant
apparaît sur l'écran 1, et aussi longtemps que
cette fonction est activée, l'appareil ne peut pas être mis en service.
■ Appuyez sur la touche Stop/Sécurité enfants e et maintenez-la
appuyée jusqu'à ce qu'un signal sonore retentisse et que l'icône de la sécurité enfants apparaisse à l'écran 1. Maintenant, les touches et le bouton
de réglage du micro-ondes ne sont plus fonctionnels.
■ Pour désactiver la sécurité enfants, appuyez sur la touche Stop/Sécurité
enfants e et maintenez-la appuyée jusqu'à ce qu'un signal sonore
retentisse et que l'icône de la sécurité enfants s'éteigne.

Cuisson
REMARQUE
►
Ce micro-ondes est équipé d'une fonction de refroidissement. Autrement dit,
après un processus de cuisson ou de grillade qui dure au moins 2 minutes,
le ventilateur de l'appareil continue encore de tourner pendant 3 minutes.
Ce n'est pas un dysfonctionnement de l'appareil ! Un refroidissement plus
rapide contribue à accroître la longévité de l'appareil.
Mode micro-ondes
REMARQUE
►
Des gouttes d'eau peuvent se former sur la porte du micro-ondes durant la
cuisson. C'est un phénomène normal qui n'indique aucun dysfonctionnement
du micro-ondes. Essuyez l'humidité à l'aide d'un chiff on sec une fois que
l'appareil s'est refroidi.
RISQUE D'INCENDIE !
► N'utilisez jamais le support de gril t ou d'autres objets métalliques lorsque
vous utilisez le micro-ondes en mode micro-ondes. Le métal refl ète le

Défi nir le temps de cuisson
Après avoir sélectionné la puissance, défi nissez le temps de cuisson souhaité :
■ Tournez le bouton de sélection r jusqu'à ce que le temps de cuisson
souhaité soit réglé.
Les tranches de durée à régler par le bouton de sélection r
sont les suivantes :
– de 0 sec. à 5 min. : par tranches de 10 sec.
– de 5 à 10 min. : par tranches de 30 sec.
– de 10 à 30 min. : par tranches de 1 min.
– de 30 à 95 min. : par tranches de 5 min.
Interrompre/terminer la procédure de saisie
Appuyez une fois sur la touche Stop e pour interrompre un processus
de saisie et le conclure. L'appareil passe de nouveau en mode veille.
Démarrer l'opération de cuisson
Une fois que vous avez réglé la puissance et la durée de cuisson, vous pouvez
faire démarrer l'opération de cuisson : Pour démarrer la cuisson, appuyez sur
la touche Démarrage/Démarrage rapide r . L'écran 1 affi che l'icône de
mode micro-ondes . L'heure réglée fait l'objet d'un compte à rebours. Lorsque
l'heure réglée s'est écoulée, vous voyez apparaître alternativement "End" et "Hot"
à l'écran 1. Un signal sonore retentit plusieurs fois de suite.
Démarrage rapide 1
En mode veille, tournez le bouton de sélection r vers la droite et réglez la
durée de cuisson souhaitée. Démarrez la cuisson avec une puissance de 900W
en appuyant sur la touche Démarrage/Démarrage rapide r .
Démarrage rapide 2
Avec cette fonction, vous pouvez démarrer immédiatement la cuisson pour 30
secondes (ou plus longtemps, jusqu'à 95 minutes) avec une puissance de 900 W.
■ Appuyez une fois sur la touche Démarrage/Démarrage rapide r .
L'écran 1 affi che l'icône de mode micro-ondes , ainsi que "00:30".
Le micro-ondes démarre l'opération de cuisson pendant 30 secondes.
Le temps est compté à rebours.
Si vous voulez cuire pendant plus de 30 secondes, appuyez sur la touche
Démarrage/Démarrage rapide r jusqu'à ce que la durée souhaitée
soit atteinte.
Les niveaux de temps se répartissent comme suit :
– de 30 sec. à 5 min. : par mesure de 30 sec.
– de 5 sec. à 95 min. : par mesure de 1 min.

Fonction gril

► Lors de l'utilisation des fonctions gril, n'utilisez en aucun cas des couvercles
ou une vaisselle non thermorésistante car ils risquent de fondre ou de
s'enfl ammer!
REMARQUE
►
Pour le gril, utilisez toujours le support de gril t. Vous obtenez ainsi
un résultat optimal. Placez toujours le support de gril t sur le plateau
tournant 3.
3 fonctions gril sont à votre disposition :
■ Fonction gril "chaleur de voûte" (Gr 1) :
avec cette fonction, la chaleur ne vient que du haut. Seul le gril supérieur est
activé. Cette fonction est de ce fait adaptée aux croque-Monsieur, et aux gratins.
■ Fonction gril "Chaleur de sole" (Gr 2) :
avec cette fonction, la chaleur ne vient que du bas. Seul le gril inférieur est
activé. C'est la raison pour laquelle cette fonction gril convient aux plats ou
aux aliments qui doivent être cuits/grillés par le dessous.

Processus de cuisson combinée "Gril"
Cette fonction associe la fonction d'un gril au fonctionnement normal du microondes. Pendant la combinaison, une certaine durée de cuisson et la durée restante pour le gril sont appliquées automatiquement et dans un même processus.
Le moment de commutation de l'appareil se caractérise par un léger clic audible.

poisson ou les gratins. On utilise la fonction micro-ondes et la fonction gril
"Chaleur de voûte".
■ Combinaison 2 (C 2) :
En combinaison 2, la puissance du micro-ondes s'élève à 55 % et la puissance du gril à 45 % du temps de cuisson. Cette fonction est par exemple
appropriée pour les omelettes, les puddings ou les lasagnes. On utilise la
fonction micro-ondes et la fonction gril "Chaleur de voûte".
■ Combinaison 3 (C 3) :
En combinaison 3, la puissance du micro-ondes s'élève à 30 % et la puissance du gril à 70 % du temps de cuisson. Cette fonction est par exemple
appropriée pour les pommes de terre.
On utilise la fonction micro-ondes et la fonction gril "Chaleur de voûte et de sole".
■ Combinaison 4 (C 4) :
En combinaison 4, la puissance du micro-ondes s'élève à 55 % et la puissance du gril à 45 % du temps de cuisson. Cette fonction est par exemple
appropriée pour les plats de volaille. On utilise la fonction micro-ondes et la
fonction gril "Chaleur de voûte et de sole".

et une durée de max. 95 minutes.

Ne confi rmez PAS ce réglage en appuyant sur la touche Démarrage/

Menu automatique
Pour les plats devant être préparés en mode menu automatique, il n'est pas
nécessaire de régler la durée de cuisson et le niveau de puissance. Il suffi t plutôt
d'indiquer le type de denrée alimentaire qui doit être cuit ainsi que son poids.

Le micro-ondes calcule le temps/le niveau de puissance pour les aliments
frais. Les produits alimentaires surgelés ne seront pas cuits avec les durées

Le cas échéant, décongelez au préalable les aliments congelés à l'aide du
programme de décongélation (voir le chapitre "Décongeler").
Démarrer le menu automatique
1) Tournez le bouton de sélection r (en mode veille) lentement vers la

Recettes
Boulettes de viande
Préparation
1) Formez des boulettes de viande avec environ 125 g de hachis de bœuf
(diamètre : env. 75 mm, hauteur : env. 35 mm).
2) Répartissez maintenant les boulettes uniformément sur le plateau tournant 3.
3) Vous obtiendrez le meilleur résultat en utilisant l'air chaud et la fonction
micro-ondes à tour de rôle. Patientez jusqu'à ce que l'opération de cuisson
réglée soit terminée et réglez l'opération suivante :
1. Air chaud 200°C, 4:00 min.
2. Micro-ondes 900 W de puissance, 5:30 min.
3. Air chaud 200°C, 2:00 min. (selon le goût personnel, une durée pouvant
atteindre 4:00 min. est également possible).
Décongélation de petits pains surgelés
1) Pour cuire des petits pains, sélectionnez la fonction air chaud.
2) Placez 3 - 4 petits pains sur le plateau tournant 3.
Aucun préchauff age du micro-ondes n'est nécessaire. Sélectionnez maintenant
le réglage suivant pour le processus de cuisson:
■ Air chaud 170°C, durée : 12minutes
Lorsque vous voulez immédiatement décongeler d'autres petits pains, vous
raccourcissez la durée d'env. 1 à 2 minutes, car l'appareil est maintenant déjà
préchauff é.
Gratin de pommes de terre
Ingrédients
▯ 750 g de pommes de terre fermes et pelées
▯ 300 g de crème liquide
▯ 100 g de fromage râpé d'une teneur en matières grasses de 25 à 30 %.

Préparation
1) Coupez les pommes de terre en rondelles d'env. 3 à 4 mm d'épaisseur.
2) Posez à peu près la moitié des pommes de terre comme des tuiles dans le
moule à gratin.
3) Parsemez à peu près la moitié du fromage sur les pommes de terre.
4) Ajoutez la moitié des épices et env. 150 g de crème.
5) Posez ensuite dessus, aussi comme des tuiles, le reste des pommes de terre
coupées.
6) Répartissez le fromage restant sur les pommes de terre et versez le reste de
la crème dessus.
7) Répartissez les épices restantes sur le gratin.
8) Recouvrez la vaisselle avec le couvercle et placez-la au milieu du plateau
tournant 3.
Préparation
Vous obtiendrez le meilleur résultat en utilisant l'air chaud et la fonction microondes à tour de rôle. Patientez jusqu'à ce que l'opération de cuisson réglée soit
terminée et réglez l'opération suivante :
1. Micro-ondes 900 W de puissance, 10:00 min.
2. Air chaud 200 °C, 13:00 min.
3. Micro-ondes 900 W de puissance, 10:00 min.

Ingrédients
La recette permet d'obtenir env. 10 à 20 muffi ns.
▯ Margarine pour pâtisserie (80 % de matières grasses) ou beurre salé
▯ 170 g de sucre cristallisé (grosseur max 0,3 mm)
▯ 3 œufs (55 à 60 g avec coquille/taille M)
▯ 225 g de farine de blé

Préparation
1) Mélangez bien ensemble tous les ingrédients.
2) Versez la pâte à muffi n dans des petits moules à papier du commerce
(diamètre env. 45 mm, hauteur env. 28 mm)
3) Préchauff ez le micro-ondes avec la fonction d'air chaud à 170 °C.
REMARQUE

Si vous avez besoin de plusieurs opérations de cuisson compte tenu du
nombre de muffi ns, un seul préchauff age est nécessaire.
4) Répartissez maintenant les muffi ns uniformément sur le plateau tournant 3.
5) Sélectionnez maintenant le réglage suivant pour le processus de cuisson:
■ Air chaud 170°C, durée : 12minutes
Soupe aux courgettes
Ingrédients
▯ 1 courgette (env. 250 g)
▯ 80 ml d'eau
▯ 2 cc de bouillon de légumes en poudre
▯ env. 150 g de fromage à pâte fondue (aux herbes)
▯ 100 ml de crème fraîche
Préparation
1) Coupez les courgettes en petits dés.
2) Mettez la courgette, l'eau et le bouillon de légumes en poudre dans un
récipient allant au micro-ondes.
3) Démarrez une opération de cuisson au micro-ondes pendant env. 6 minutes
à 700 watts.
4) Ajoutez alors le fromage à pâte fondue et la crème.
5) Démarrez ensuite une autre opération de cuisson au micro-ondes pendant
10 minutes à 600 watts.
REMARQUE

Vous pouvez passer la soupe au mixeur avant de la servir.
Vous obtiendrez ainsi un soupe à la consistance crémeuse.

Gâteau au chocolat et aux pommes
Ingrédients
▯ 125 g de beurre
▯ 125 g de sucre
▯ 1 sachet de sucre vanillé
▯ 2 œufs
▯ 125 g de farine
▯ 2 cuillères à soupe de cacao en poudre
▯ 1/2 paquet de levure chimique
▯ 1 pomme
▯ un peu de sucre glace
Préparation
1) Mélangez le sucre, le beurre ramolli, le sucre vanillé, les œufs, la farine, la
levure chimique et le cacao en poudre pour obtenir une pâte.
2) Pelez et épépinez les pommes. Coupez les pommes en petits dés.
3) Incorporez les morceaux de pomme à la pâte.
4) Placez la pâte dans un plat allant au micro-ondes.
5) Faites cuire le gâteau à 900 watts pendant 9 minutes environ au micro-ondes.
6) Laissez le gâteau refroidir un peu après la cuisson avant de le démouler.
7) Saupoudrez un peu de sucre glace sur le gâteau.

Rôti de viande hachée
Ingrédients
▯ 500 g de viande hachée (moitié/moitié)
▯ 1/2 oignon
▯ 1 œuf
▯ 1/2 petit pain
▯ Poivre, sel et poudre de piment
pour la sauce :
▯ 75 ml d'eau
▯ 1 cs de moutarde
▯ 2 cs de ketchup
▯ 2 cs de jus de viande
▯ Muscade, persil, piment en poudre
▯ évtl. un peu de liant pour sauce
Préparation
1) Faites ramollir le petit pain dans un peu d'eau.
2) Coupez les oignons en petits dés.
3) Mélangez la viande hachée, les dés d'oignons, l'œuf, le petit pain ramolli
pour former une boule de viande hachée, salez et poivrez.
4) Formez un rôti de viande hachée et mettez-le dans un plat allant au microondes, saupoudrez le rôti de piment en poudre et couvrez-le.
5) Faites cuire le rôti de viande hachée pendant env. 18 – 22 minutes à
700 watts.
6) Une fois la cuisson terminée, prélevez 2 cuillères à soupe de jus de cuisson
et mélangez-les à l'eau, au ketchup et à la moutarde pour obtenir une sauce
de cuisson.
7) Versez la sauce sur le rôti de viande hachée et faites cuire à couvercle
ouvert en combinaison Gril 1 (C 1) pendant 10 minutes environ.
8) Si nécessaire, liez la sauce du rôti avec un peu de liant pour sauce.

Nettoyage et entretien
DANGER! RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION!

Éteignez le micro-ondes avant de le nettoyer et retirez la fi che secteur de la
prise secteur. Sinon, il y a un risque de choc électrique !
L'appareil ne doit sous aucun prétexte être plongé dans l'eau ou
d'autres liquides ! Il peut en résulter un danger de mort par choc
électrique et l'appareil peut être endommagé.
▯ Maintenez l'intérieur du micro-ondes toujours à l'état propre.
▯ Si des éclaboussures d'aliments ou des liquides renversés collent aux parois
du micro-ondes, essuyez-les avec un chiff on humide.
▯ Utilisez un produit vaisselle doux si le micro-ondes présente des salissures
plus importantes.
▯ Évitez l'utilisation de sprays de nettoyage et autres produits détergents
puissants, car ces derniers peuvent créer des taches, des marques ou une
opacité de la porte.
▯ Nettoyez les parois extérieures avec un chiff on humide.
▯ Pour éviter d'endommager les pièces fonctionnelles à l'intérieur du micro-
ondes, ne laissez pas pénétrer de l'eau dans la fente d'aération 5.
▯ Éliminez régulièrement les éclaboussures ou les encrassements. Nettoyez la
porte et les fenêtres des deux côtés, les joints de porte et les pièces adjacentes avec un chiff on humide. N'utilisez pas de produits récurants.
▯ En cas de dépôt de condensation dans la porte ou à l'extérieur, essuyez-la
avec un chiff on doux. C'est le cas, lorsque le micro-ondes est utilisé dans des
conditions d'humidité extrêmes.
▯ Nettoyez également régulièrement le plateau tournant 3. Rincez-le à l'eau
savonneuse chaude.
▯ Nettoyez le support de gril t dans de l'eau chaude et séchez-le bien.
▯ Éliminez régulièrement les odeurs. Placez un récipient profond pour micro-
ondes avec une tasse remplie d'eau, du jus et du zeste de citron dans le
micro-ondes. Réchauff ez ce dernier pendant 5 minutes. Essuyez-le bien et
séchez-le avec un chiff on doux.
▯ S'il faut remplacer l'ampoule du micro-ondes, demandez alors à un revendeur
de la remplacer ou contactez notre service après-vente.

► Probeer het apparaat niet met geopende deur te gebruiken,
omdat het gebruik bij geopende deur kan leiden tot contact
met een schadelijke dosis microgolfstraling. Hierbij is het ook
belangrijk geen veiligheidsvergrendelingen open te breken of

► Klem niets tussen de voorzijde van het apparaat en de deur
en zorg ervoor dat zich geen kleine verontreinigingen of restanten van schoonmaakmiddelen op de sluitvlakken kunnen
ophopen.
GEVAAR! ELEKTRISCHE SCHOK!
► Dompel het snoer of de stekker nooit onder in water of
andere vloeistoff en.
► Houd het snoer uit de buurt van warmtebronnen. Leid het
snoer niet voor de deur van de magnetron langs. Door de
hitte kan het snoer beschadigd raken.
► Giet nooit vloeistof in de ventilatiesleuven of in de veiligheids-
vergrendelingen van de deur. Mocht er toch vloeistof in de
magnetron komen, schakel de magnetron dan meteen uit en
haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Laat de magnetron nakijken door gekwalifi ceerd en deskundig
personeel.
WAARSCHUWING - LETSELGEVAAR!
► Als de deur of de deurafdichtingen beschadigd zijn, mag u de
magnetron in geen geval verder gebruiken. Laat deze onmiddellijk door gekwalifi ceerd en deskundig personeel repareren.
► Probeer nooit het apparaat zelf te repareren. Bij het verwij-
deren van de behuizing kan energie in de vorm van microgolven vrijkomen. Laat reparaties alleen door gekwalifi ceerd
en deskundig personeel uitvoeren.
► Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf
8 jaar en door personen met beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of
geestelijke vermogens of gebrek aan ervaring en/of kennis,
mits ze onder toezicht staan of over het veilige gebruik van
het apparaat zijn geïnstrueerd en de daaruit resulterende
gevaren hebben begrepen.
► Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen.

► Reiniging en onderhoud door de gebruiker mogen niet worden
uitgevoerd door kinderen, tenzij ze 8 jaar of ouder zijn en
onder toezicht staan.
► Houd het apparaat en het snoer buiten bereik van kinderen
jonger dan 8 jaar.
► Gebruik dit apparaat uitsluitend in overeenstemming met het
gebruiksdoel conform de beschrijving in deze gebruiksaanwijzing. Gebruik in dit apparaat geen bijtende chemicaliën
of dampen. Deze magnetron is speciaal gemaakt voor het
verwarmen, koken of grillen van voedingsmiddelen. Hij is
niet ontworpen voor gebruik in de industrie of in een laboratorium.
► Gebruik de magnetron niet als het snoer/de stekker bescha-
digd zijn. Laat netsnoer/stekker vervangen door gekwalifi ceerd en deskundig personeel om risico's te vermijden.
► Houd kinderen uit de buurt van de deur van de magnetron
terwijl deze in werking is. Verbrandingsgevaar!
► Verwijder onder geen beding de behuizing van de magnetron.
► Laat de lamp in de magnetron uitsluitend vervangen door
gekwalifi ceerd en deskundig personeel.
► Raak nooit de deur of behuizing van de magnetron, de ven-
tilatieopeningen, accessoires of het eetgerei aan direct na
de grill-, combi- of automaatmenu-procedure. De onderdelen
worden zeer heet. Laat de onderdelen afkoelen voordat u
ze schoonmaakt.
► Zorg dat de stekker altijd goed te bereiken is, zodat u deze
in geval van nood snel uit het stopcontact kunt halen.

► Personen die een pacemaker dragen, dienen voor ingebruik-
name van de magnetron bij hun huisarts te informeren naar
mogelijke risico's.
► Laat het snoer nooit over de rand van tafel of werkblad han-
gen. Kinderen zouden eraan kunnen trekken.
► Open verpakkingen, popcornzakjes enz. na het verwarmen
altijd met de opening van uw lichaam af. Ontsnappende
stoom kan verbrandingen veroorzaken.
► Ga niet direct voor de magnetron staan wanneer u de deur
opent. Ontsnappende stoom kan verbrandingen veroorzaken.
► Frituur niet in de magnetron. Hete olie kan onderdelen van
het apparaat en hulpstukken beschadigen en zelfs brandwonden veroorzaken.
► Schud opgewarmde glazen potjes met babyvoeding of zuig-
fl essen altijd na het verwarmen of roer de inhoud om! De
kans bestaat dat de inhoud niet gelijkmatig is verhit en de
baby zou zich aan de inhoud kunnen verbranden. Controleer altijd de temperatuur voordat u uw baby voedt!
► Verander de magnetron niet.
► Microgolfstralen zijn gevaarlijk! Laat onderhouds- of repa-
ratiewerkzaamheden, waarbij afdekkingen moeten worden
verwijderd die bescherming bieden tegen contact met microgofstraling, uitsluitend uitvoeren door deskundig personeel.
► Controleer vóór consumptie de temperatuur, om verbrandin-
gen te voorkomen die voor baby’s mogelijk levensgevaarlijk
kunnen zijn. Kookbenodigdheden kunnen heet worden door
de hitte die door de verwarmde gerechten wordt afgegeven,
zodat u ze mogelijk alleen met pannenlappen kunt aanpakken.
Controleer of het kookgerei geschikt is voor de magnetron.

WAARSCHUWING - BRANDGEVAAR!
► Laat de magnetron nooit zonder toezicht wanneer u levens-
middelen in plastic- of papierverpakkingen verwarmt.
► Plaats geen brandbare materialen in de buurt van de mag-
netron of de ventilatiesleuven.
► Verwijder alle metalen sluitingen van de verpakking van de
levensmiddelen die u wilt verwarmen. Brandgevaar!
► Gebruik voor het maken van popcorn uitsluitend popcorn-
zakjes die geschikt zijn voor de magnetron.
► Gebruik de magnetron niet om korrels, kersenpitten of met
gel gevulde kussens te verwarmen. Brandgevaar!
► Gebruik de magnetron niet voor het opbergen van levens-
middelen of andere zaken.
► Overschrijd nooit de door de fabrikant aangegeven garings-
tijden.
► Zet geen voorwerpen op de magnetron terwijl deze in
werking is. De ventilatiesleuven worden dan afgedekt!
► Plaats de magnetron niet in de buurt van andere apparaten
die warmte afgeven, zoals een oven.
► Reinig de magnetron grondig na het verwarmen van vethou-
dende gerechten, vooral als die niet waren afgedekt. Laat
het apparaat volledig afkoelen voordat u het schoonmaakt.
Op de verwarmingselementen van de grill mogen zich geen
resten, bijvoorbeeld vet, bevinden. Deze kunnen oververhit
raken en in brand vliegen.

WAARSCHUWING - BRANDGEVAAR!
► Ontdooi geen bevroren vet of olie in de magnetron. Het vet
of de olie kan in brand vliegen.
► Gebruik geen externe timer of een aparte afstandsbediening
om het apparaat te bedienen.
► Deze magnetron is bestemd voor het verwarmen van spijzen
en dranken. Het drogen van spijzen of kleding en het verwarmen van warmtekussens, pantoff els, sponzen, vochtige
poetslappen en dergelijke kan letsel, ontbranding of brand
tot gevolg hebben.
► De magnetron moet regelmatig worden gereinigd en resten
van levensmiddelen moeten worden verwijderd.
LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!
► Gebruik de magnetron nooit in lege toestand.
Een uitzondering hierop vormt de ingebruikname (zie hoofdstuk “Ingebruikname”), waarin de magnetron kortstondig in
lege toestand in de modus Grillen mag worden gebruikt.
► Steek geen voorwerpen in de ventilatiesleuven of de veilig-
heidsvergrendelingen van de deur.
► Gebruik geen metalen voorwerpen die microgolven refl ecte-
ren en vonken kunnen veroorzaken. Plaats geen blikjes in de
magnetron.
► Plaats geen plastic voorwerpen direct na een grill-, combi-
of automaatmenu-proces in de magnetron.
Het plastic kan smelten.
► De magnetron mag niet worden geplaatst op plekken met
een hoge luchtvochtigheid, of op plaatsen waar zich vocht
verzamelt.

LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!
► Vloeistoff en en overige voedingsmiddelen mogen niet in
luchtdicht afgesloten voorwerpen verhit worden, omdat deze
kunnen ontploff en en het apparaat kunnen beschadigen.
► Leun niet op de deur van de magnetron.
► Als het apparaat niet afdoende wordt schoongehouden, kan
het oppervlak beschadigd raken. Hierdoor neemt de levensduur van het apparaat af en kunnen er gevaarlijke situaties
ontstaan.
► Er mag alleen servies worden gebruikt dat geschikt is voor
gebruik in magnetrons.
AANWIJZINGEN VOOR VEILIGE OMGANG
► Om het risico van brand in de magnetron tot een minimum
te beperken: houd wanneer u spijzen in kunststof- of papieren schalen verwarmt ten alle tijde de magnetronoven in het
oog, want deze materialen zouden vlam kunnen vatten.
► Bij het verwarmen van dranken in de magnetron kan er
sprake zijn van borrelen enige tijd nadat de drank kookt.
Wees derhalve voorzichtig bij het hanteren van de beker.
Voorkom plotseling aan de kook komen:
– Plaats zo mogelijk een glasstaafje in de vloeistof, zolang
die wordt verwarmd.
– Laat de vloeistof na het verwarmen 20 seconden in de
magnetron staan, om onverwacht opborrelen te voorkomen.
► Prik op een paar plaatsen in de schil van aardappelen,
worstjes of dergelijke. Ze kunnen anders exploderen.
► Wees voorzichtig bij het verwarmen van vloeistoff en. Ge-
bruik alleen open vloeistofhouders, zodat luchtbelletjes die
worden gevormd, kunnen ontsnappen.

AANWIJZINGEN VOOR VEILIGE OMGANG
► Als er rook uit het apparaat komt, moet u het uitschakelen
of de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken en de deur gesloten
houden om eventuele vlammen te doven.
► Eieren in de schaal en hardgekookte eieren mogen niet in
de magnetron worden verwarmd, aangezien ze zelfs na het
verwarmen in de magnetron kunnen exploderen.
Prik voor het koken een paar gaatjes in voedingsmiddelen
met een dikke schil, zoals aardappelen, hele pompoenen,
appels en kastanjes.
► Beweeg de magnetron niet terwijl deze in werking is.
AANWIJZINGEN OVER AARDING/
INSTALLATIE VOLGENS DE VOORSCHRIFTEN
► Dit apparaat moet geaard zijn. Dit apparaat mag alleen
worden aangesloten op een volgens de voorschriften geaard
stopcontact. Aanbevolen wordt om een eigen stroomgroep
te gebruiken, die alleen de magnetron van stroom voorziet.
GEVAAR! Ondeskundige omgang met een geaarde
stekker kan het risico van een elektrische schok tot
gevolg hebben.
OPMERKING: wend u met vragen over het aarden of
voor instructies over de elektrische installatie tot een installateur of onderhoudsvakman.
► Zowel de fabrikant als de dealer wijzen de aansprakelijk-
heid van de hand voor een beschadiging van de magnetron
of voor persoonlijke schade die voortvloeit uit de niet-naleving van de aanwijzingen voor de elektrische installatie.

INTERFERENTIESTORINGEN BIJ ANDERE APPARATUUR
► Het gebruik van de magnetron kan storingen bij uw radio,
tv-toestel of vergelijkbare apparatuur veroorzaken.
Indien dergelijke interferenties optreden, kunt u deze met behulp van de volgende maatregelen verminderen of wegnemen:
– Reinig deur- en afdichtvlakken van de magnetron.
– Richt de ontvangstantenne van de radio of het tv-
toestel opnieuw.
– Zet de magnetron op een andere plek dan de ont-
vanger.
– Haal de magnetron weg bij de ontvanger.
– Sluit de magnetron aan op een ander stopcontact. De
magnetron en de ontvanger moeten elk hun voeding
krijgen van een andere stroomgroep.
Voordat u begint
Basisprincipes van het koken in de magnetron
■ Rangschik de spijzen op weloverwogen wijze.
■ De dikste plekken komen zo dicht mogelijk bij de rand.
■ Let op de garingstijd. Kies de kortst aangegeven garingstijd en verleng deze
zo nodig. Veel te lang gekookte gerechten kunnen beginnen te roken of
kunnen vlam vatten.
■ Bedek de spijzen tijdens het garen met een voor de magnetron geschikt deksel.
Het deksel voorkomt spatten en draag er voorts toe bij dat de gerechten
gelijkmatig gaar worden.
■ Draai de gerechten tijdens de bereiding in de magnetron één keer om, zodat
gerechten zoals kip of hamburgers sneller van binnen gaar zijn.
■ Levensmiddelen in grote stukken, zoals bijv. gebraad, moeten ten minste
eenmaal worden omgedraaid.
■ Rangschik delen van levensmiddelen, bijv. gehaktballen na de helft van de
garingstijd helemaal anders. Draai ze om en verplaats de ballen van het
midden van het servies naar de rand ervan.
