Installation

Hardware Installation

General instructions for installing the PC Card CF R/W
are provided below. Since the design of computers vary,
refer to your system’s reference manual for further
information, if needed.

1. Insert a memory card into the PC Card CF
R/W then insert the adapter into the PC Card slot
of the computer. Push the PC Card CF R/W into the
slot gently, yet firmly for a solid connection.

2. If your system was powered off when you plugged
in the PC Card CF R/W, turn it on and driver will
install automatically.

Driver Installation

Important: The PC Card CF R/W with CF memory card
must be inserted into the computer before running the
driver installation.

Windows will automatically install it's built in driver for
the PC Card CF R/W when inserted.

To Verify Windows Installation

1. Check Device Manager for proper installation.
For Windows 7: Right click Computer, click Manage.
