Introduction
The 1x2 HDMI Distribution Amplifier with 3D and 4K x 2K provides the most cost effective and advanced HDMI splitter solution by which high definition video and high quality audio can be transmitted to 2 different locations without losing quality.

DIP Switch: Changes between normal work mode and firmware update mode. Please keep the switch down at position 1 for normal work mode. See the instructions on page 5 for firmware update, if needed

Hardware Installation
General instructions for connecting devices are provided below. Please consult your device's users manual for more information, if needed.
1. Power off all devices, including monitors.
2. Connect your HDMI source (such as a Blu-ray DVD player) to the HDMI In.
3. Connect your HDMI display(s) to the HDMI Out(s). (HDMI 1.4 TV recommended)
4. Plug in 5V 4A DC power supply.
5. Power on all devices.
Notes
1. For transmitting over long distance and high definition transmission, we suggest an HDMI over CAT 5/6 extender.
2. When a new display is connected to the splitter, the splitter will automatically configure the connected display. Please wait several seconds for the signal output, this delay is normal.

Firmware Update
Follow the instructions below to update the firmware when suggested to do so.
1. Power off the switch.
2. Set the DIP switch up to ON.
3. Connect an RS-232 cable between your PC and the RS-232 connector of the switch.
4. Open the firmware update software, set the correct COM port and baud rate, see Figure 3. Note: baud rate 57600 is required.

5. Click File button and select the firmware HEX or BIN file, see Figure 4 on page 6.
6. Power on the switch and press the Program MCU symbol, see Figure 4 on page 6.

7. Once the process is done, power off the switch and disconnect it from the computer.
8. Set the DIP switch back to position 1.
9. Power up the switch again to complete the firmware update.

If you encounter any problems with this product, please follow the procedures below.
A) If it is within the store's return policy period, please return the product to the store where you purchased it.
B) If your purchase has passed the store's return policy period, please follow these steps to have the product repaired or replaced.
Step 1: Submit your RMA request. Go to www.siig.com, click Support, then Request A Product Replacement to submit a request to or fax a request to 510-657-5962. Your RMA request will be processed, if the product is determined to be defective, an RMA number will be issued.
Step 2: After obtaining an RMA number, ship the product.
Properly pack the product for shipping. All software, cable(s) and any
other accessories that came with the original package must be included.
Clearly write your RMA number on the top of the returned package.
SIIG will refuse to accept any shipping package, and will not be responsible for a product returned without an RMA number posted on the outside of the shipping carton.
You are responsible for the cost of shipping to SIIG. Ship the product
