Operating Instructions
The Solar Portable Battery Charger can be charged in two ways, by exposing the solar panel to sunlight or by connecting it to a desktop or notebook using the USB charging cable included.
Charging the Battery Using the Solar Panel
Expose the face of the solar panel to sunlight. LED C will go on indicating that the charge has begun. The time required to fully charge the battery is dependent on the quality of light available. The stronger the light is, the faster the battery will be charged.
4
It takes a shorter time to charge the battery under the direct sunlight (it should take approximately 11 hours to fully charge the battery under strong sunlight). LED C will switch off when the battery is fully charged.
Charging the Battery Using a Computer
1. Find the proper adapter tip (included or buy separately) and connect to the DC Jack of the supplied USB charging cable, see Figure 4 on page
4. Then connect it to the INPUT (Mini USB port) of the Solar Portable Battery Charger.
2. Connect the USB type A plug of the supplied USB charging cable to an available USB port of your desktop or notebook computer (make sure the system is turned on). LED A will turn on, indicating the charging process has begun, see Figure 5 below.
3. When LED A goes off, the Solar Portable Battery Charger is now fully charged. Expect 3-4 hours to fully charge the battery.
