PITCHING INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations on the purchase of you new Sierra Designs Tent! In order to familiarize yourself with your new tent, we recommend you “test pitch” it before embarking on your wilderness adventure.
PACKAGE INCLUDES: Tent body with attached Rain Fly, 4 Poles, Guy Cords, Stakes, Pole/Stake Bag and Tent Stuff Sack.
STEP 1: Find an even piece of ground; be sure the
area is clear of debris. Layout your tent as shown. Stake the 4 corners. (circled)
STEP 3: Insert pole tips of green hoop pole in
grommet at corner of tent. Push pole into sleeve attaching opposite pole tip to grommet on other side. Note: there will be alot of tension.
STEP 2: Assemble
poles. Insert the long green poles into the sleeves that run parallel to the doors.
STEP 4: Insert one end of the silver pole into ball cap connector
located on the awning of the tent. Then insert the other side erecting the hoops.

STEP 5: Attach all clips to the silver pole and install the short green
ridge pole ON TOP of the silver pole using the ball cap connectors.

STEP 6: Pull the corners of the attached fly over the green
sleeve and clip to corner buckles. Adjust webbing tension. Stake out gear closets and your tent is pitched.

STEP 7: To stow the gear closets, unclip the corner buckles,
roll the fly and clip the center push button.

USING YOUR TENT
TWO PITCH CONFIGURATION:
The Flash features an integrated rain y that can quickly and easily be deployed in two versatile con gurations.
GUYING OUT YOUR TENT: Your tent includes guy out loops,
guylines, and stakes. It is good practice to always guy out your tent, but is absolutely necessary when it’s windy.
FULL RAIN PROTECTION NIGHT VIEWING
Guy out your Flash tent where shown below to prevent pole rotation/breakage during high winds.
Tie the end of the guy line to the re ective guy out loop on your tent.
Use the black LINE-LOK® to adjust the length of the guy line.
Stake out the end of the guy line loop into the ground.
