Laser light localizer isocenter 0
For simple positioning of the patient without radiation, the horizontal axis and consequently the isocenter of the new C-arm family should be able to be marked in addition to
the already existing “I.I. laser light localizer positioning aid”.
Switching the laser light localizer on and off 0
The laser light localizer is switched on and off directly at the housing of the laser unit by
pressing a button.
Power supply via battery 0
Power should be supplied via button cell 1.5 V batteries or corresponding accumulators.
This yields a continuous operation time of approx. 4 hours.
Automatic switch off 0
After 60 seconds, the laser switches off automatically to prevent the batteries for being
run down.

A laser light localizer of laser class 2 (ICE 825) is used and is on the horizontal axis of the
C-arm.

The following identification labels are included with delivery.
These are to be attached to the laser light localizer.

• The SIREMOBIL Iso-C/ ARCADIS Orbic is switched off.
• The holes can also be marked when the cable module cover is removed.

• Open the laser light localizer.
• Secure the laser light localizer - as shown in figure (Fig.5/p.10) - to the cable module
cover; notches are provided in the laser light localizer for this purpose.
These notches must point toward the existing line.
• The front part of the laser light localizer is flush with the existing line.
• Mark the holes.
• If not already performed, remove the cable module cover.

• Use a 6-mm drill bit to make holes at the 4 markings, see (Fig.6/p.11).
• Screw the laser light localizer on using the supplied plate.
• Reattach the cable module cover to the SIREMOBIL Iso-C/ ARCADIS Orbic.

• The laser light localizer has two Allen screws which can be used to adjust the height
and tilt of the laser beam.
• Set the laser beam to the center of the image intensifier as specified by the two screws
at the image intensifier.
