The first edition of MP3 for Guarto was released in January 2003. See related Up­data sheet UPe128. This release MP3 SR2 becomes available in January 2009.

MP3 is the common version for networked applications or standalone respectively.
Mind the special version YCD01503 for the integration into the management sta­tion MM2000 with a relaxed check for the time synchronization via network.

This Service Release contains a new Real-Time-Clock driver with an auto-detect
function for the current RTC chip and the new respectively. The new RTC chip re­places the current one which is not available anymore. Therefore, a new HW is
provided with a socket for holding the new RTC chip device.

1.2 Fixed Application Problems

The current RTC chip is not available anymore. So, a new pin compatible device
with a new chip was produced in cooperation for Guarto and AlgoRex. This re­quires the use of a new RTC driver, which supports the current chip as well as the
new device.
Therefore, a new HW version is provided too, where the current RTC chip is re­moved from the board and a socket is mounted instead, so that the piggy-back de­vice with the new RTC chip can be inserted.

1.3 Fixed Tool Problems

For the mentioned SR1 of MP3 an improved SWE6 tool V5.0a was provided.

The following problems were fixed:

z The delay of remote transmission for 'Security-jeopardizing fault' and 'Major fault'

was not visible and configurable anymore
(new range for each remote transmission type 10..1800s)

z Generation of CNAP profile adjusted that a data import of the management sys-

tem doesn't stop anymore because of a section without zone

z Listing of configuration data (for sections) contained also the section number

and not only the numbers of the linked zones

Installation (Update V5.0):

– Uninstall SWE6 MP3 V5.0
– Install SWE6 MP3 V5.0
