Package New Cooker Hood
Disposal of Used Cooker Hood
Before You Begin
All the packaging materials are environment-friendly and
recyclable. Please dispose the packaging materials for
environmental protection to preserve a good environment.
Remove plastic wrappings and discard to avoid suffocation of
children. Keep children away from the packaging materials
and remember packaging materials are not toys.
Discard the used cooker hood which cannot be used any
longer. Remove the power line plug and cut off the power line.
The used cooker hood contains recyclable materials. Dispose
or recycle the returnable materials correctly to protect our
environment.
This unit is approved for use with domestic appliances for
general domestic kitchen ventilating use only. DO NOT use
the unit for other purposes.
Discharging type of this cooker hood is external discharge.
Please read the appended documents including the important
installation, operation and safety instructions carefully. Save
these documents for future reference or delivery to the next
user. Closely follow the instructions set out in the instructions.
All responsibility, for any accidents caused by not complying
with the instructions, is declined.
The operation and installation instruction is applicable to
cooker hoods of different models. You may find illustrations of
features different from your cooker hood.
To assure the correct and safe use of your cooker hood,
please read the operation instruction of your cooker carefully.
If there is any obvious damage to the cooker hood, DO NOT
connect the cooker hood to the power supply. Please contact
the local Siemens home appliance customer service center or
distributor immediately.
DO NOT disassemble this cooker hood. Repair work must be
done by well-trained qualified person(s).

WARNING- RISK OF CARBON MONOXIDE INTOXICATION:
When using the cooker hood and gas cooker hob at the same
time, OPEN the door and window of the kitchen. Sufficient
make-up air is needed for proper combustion and exhausting
of gases through the flue. Please open the door and window
to keep air ventilation to avoid suffocation.

－ DO NOT leave the kitchen when cooking (e.g. French
fries, steak fries) with animal oil or vegetable oil.
The cooker when working generates high temperature.
The incorrect operations may damage the cooker hood
due to the high temperature or cause fires due to the oil
left on the cooker hood.
Before First Use:
Make sure the light bulb, filter frame and oil collector of
the cooker hood are already correctly installed.
In Use:
Overfull oil accumulated in the grease filter and oil
collector increases the risk of fire and influences the
efficiency of cooker hood.
Operate your cooker hoods correctly and safely, and
closely follow the precautions set out in the instructions
of cooker hoods.
DO NOT let children or weak people use the cooker hood
without attendance.
If the light bulb of the cooker hood is damaged, please
contact the Siemens customer service centre to replace
the damaged light bulb to avoid short circuit.
NEVER insert or remove an electric plug with wet hands.
DO NOT drag the wire to remove the electric plug.
After Use:
If the cooker hood is put aside for a long time, please
remove the electric plug as the cooker hood in standby
state still consumes power (≤2W).
