Target Group
• The instructions in this document are
designed only for qualified electricians.
General Safety precautions

before installing the device.

• Always pass this document on together
with the product.
• Please also take into account any
additional country-specific, local laws,
safety standards or regulations concerning
installation, operation and disposal of the
product.
Liability claim
• Do not connect the device to the 230 V
supply network if it is damaged or any
parts are missing.
• Use only spare parts and accessories that
have been approved by the manufacturer.
Setup
Damage due to unsuitable mounting location
• The environmental conditions
recommended by the manufacturer must
be observed. See Technical Data.
• Do not operate the device close to sources
of powerful electromagnetic radiation.
• Do not operate the device in dusty places.
• Protect the device against moisture.
Danger of electrical shock/fire hazard/damage
to the device due to incorrect connection
• Connect the device only to power sources
with the specified voltage. Voltage supply
requirements can be found on the rating
label of the device.
• Connect the device only to a limited power
source.
• Connect the equipment to 24 V AC UL
Listed Class 2 Power Supply.
• Ensure that the safety wire (located in the
dome base) is engaged.
Service and maintenance

• Do not attempt to service or modify this
device yourself. Refer this work to qualified
service personnel.
Description of equipment
CCDA1445 is a Dome camera for video
surveillance applications. It can be mounted to
a wall or ceiling indoors. When used with the
appropriate accessories it is also suitable for
installation outdoors. See Installation &
Configuration Manual for accessories
installation details.

Installation Instruction
Installation
1. Setup the DIP switch on Dome base and
Dome drive to select baud rate, address
and protocol (see Installation &
Configuration Manual for details).
2. Refer to Fig. A to install the dome base
and dome drive. Connect the safety wire
(3) to the hook (2) of the dome base (1)
carefully to prevent the dome from
dropping.
3. To lock the dome drive (4) to the dome
base, line up the notch (11) to the right
arrow on the label (12) then turn dome
drive to right with both hands (see figure C)
till the notch lines up to left arrow.
4. Connect BNC connector: connect BNC
extension cable (10) to BNC connector (9).
5. Connect video cable: connect BNC VIDEO
OUT cable (10) to the monitor with a coax
cable.
6. Fix video cable on BNC connector holder
(6).
7. Connect RS485 interface: Connect RS485
wire from control device to the Data+/Dataterminal (7).
8. Connect control signal: 4 alarm IN and 2
alarm OUT terminals are available (7).
9. Connect power supply (8): Only 24 V AC
±10 % power can be supplied for this
product, voltage over this range will
damage the product.
10. Connect power source to power terminal.
Start up procedure
When powered up, the Speed dome will
perform a brief homing routine during which it
checks its function and will then go its start
position. The camera information including
model number, software version, protocol,
address setting and communication baud rate
are displayed on the screen.
