2 Beschreibung

Einleitung

Bei der Antenne ANT792-6MN handelt es sich um eine Antenne mit
omnidirektionaler Charakteristik.

Lieferumfang

Folgende Teile gehören zum Lieferumfang der Antenne:

• 1x Antenne mit 1x N-Connector female

• 2x Schlauchklemmen für die Mastmontage

• 1x Abschlusswiderstand TI795-1R

• 1x Kompaktbetriebsanleitung

Lieferumfang prüfen

1. Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit.

2. Setzen Sie sich bei unvollständiger Lieferung oder bei äußeren
Beschädigungen mit Ihrem Lieferanten oder der örtlichen Sie­mens-Geschäftsstelle in Verbindung.

Zum Anschließen an SCALANCE W700 mit R-SMA-Anschlüssen ist

3 Montieren

Abbildung 3-1 Montagemöglichkeiten der ANT792-6MN

Wandmontage

Befestigen Sie die Antennenhalterung an der Wand mit zwei
Schrauben.
Dafür sind in der Antennenhalterung zwei Bohrungen vorgesehen
(Position A in der vorangegangenen Abbildung).

Mastmontage

Befestigen Sie die Antennenhalterung am Mast mit zwei Schlauch­klemmen (Position B in der vorangegangenen Abbildung).
Dabei bringen Sie die Schlauchklemmen so an, dass sie in die
Ausklinkungen der Antennenhalterung eingreifen.
Das Anzugsmoment beträgt 3,5 Nm.

Vorgehensweise

Nehmen Sie die Schutzkappe vom N-Connector der Antenne ab und
schrauben Sie die flexible Verbindungsleitung auf den N-Connector
auf. Das Anzugsmoment am N-Connector beträgt 1,7 Nm.

2 Description

Introduction

The ANT792-6MN antenna is an antenna with omnidirectional
characteristic.

Scope of delivery

The following components are supplied with the antenna:

• 1x antenna with 1x N connector female

• 2x hose clips for mounting on a mast

• 1x terminator TI795-1R

• 1x Compact Operating Instructions

Checking the components of the product

1. Check that all components are present.

2. If it is not complete or there are signs of external damage, please
contact your supplier or your local Siemens office.

3 Installation

Wall mounting

Mount the antenna mounting plate at the wall by means of 2 screws.
Use two holes (see position A in the figure above).

Mast mounting

Mount the antenna mounting plate on the mast using two hose clips
(see position B in the figure above).
Position the hose clips that they fit into the recesses in the antenna
mounting plate.
The tightening torque is 3.5 Nm.

We recommend that you use the maintenance

-free lightning protector

LP798

-2N.

Exception

: When there is also DC power is supplied via the antenna

cable. In this case, only the lightning

protector LP798-1N can be used.

Installing this lightning protector between an antenna and a
SCALANCE W7xx is not adequate protection against a lightning
strike. The lighte

ning protectors mentioned above only works within

the framework o

f a comprehensive lightning protection concept. If you

have questions, ask a qua

lified specialist company.

Procedure

Remove the protective caps from the N connector of the antenna and
screw down the flexible connecting cable onto the N connector. The
tightening torque at the N connector is 1.7 Nm.
