2. When transporting the cart with transducers, place the cables through the provided hook to prevent damage.

Removing the Transducer Holder
◾ Press the tab located at the back of the holder.
◾ Pull the holder towards the floor to remove.
◾ Clean with mild detergent.
◾ Insert into transducer holder pressing upward
until you hear a click.

Attaching a Transducer
1. Ensure lever lock is in the down, unlocked position.
2. Align the connector and press into the transducer port.
3. Place the lock in the up position.
4. Once the system detects the transducer, the name displays to the right of the image.

Button: Press to start or end Zoom. Dial: Adjusts the scanning depth or amount of magnification of the image.

Button: Changes the PW Doppler angle in 60 degree increments. Dial: Changes the PW Doppler angle in 1 degree increments.
Invert
Moves the spectral tracing or color Doppler to above or below the baseline.

Dynamic TCE Tissue Contrast Enhancement Technology – Soft Key
Reduces speckle and increases image contrast.
Dyn R – Soft Key Adjust the range (minimum to maximum) of displayed gray shades.
Map – Soft Key Changes gray-scale image based on the intensity of the signal.
Tint – Soft Key Display of a color overlay applied to the gray-scale image.
L / R Flip – Soft Key Flips the left side of the image to the right and vice versa.
U / D Flip – Soft Key Flips the top of the image to the bottom and vice versa.
Zoom / Pan – Button / Touch Pad
Zoom enlarges the image and Pan allows movement through the image.

4. Position the first caliper and press Set.
5. Use the Edit button to toggle between calipers.
6. Press Set to anchor the second caliper.
The calipers and active measurements display green.

1. Press the

2. Select the desired measurement from the menu on the left of the monitor.
3. Place the caliper or goalpost at the desired start location.
4. Press Set.
5. Use the Edit button to toggle between calipers.
6. Press Set to anchor the second caliper.
7. Press Print Store to enter the measurement into the patient report.
TIP
You can also measure and enter information into the patient report from an image in Review. This function only works with an open exam.
