Mobile Communications Systems are pla nned as cellu lar systems and each
cell of the base station is required to provide geographical area as per defined propagation propert ies, even using high rad iated antenna systems, there are zones within the coverage area where the
signal strength from base station remains inadequate for establishing the desired connectivity to mobile users.
