What is a barebone?

Shuttle Mini-PCs form basis for top-spec gaming PCs
Shuttle XPCs use the same chipsets and Desktop components as standard large-format
PCs. Despite the smallcase dimensions,the listed
XPC models support large-format dual-slot
graphics cards with lengths of up to 26.7cm
(for the H series) or 27.3 cm (for the R series).

Shuttle usesefficient power supplyunits that arespecifically
tailored to the maximum power requirements of an XPC
and providethe precise performance that they effectively
need. For instance, a 300 W supply unit has the capacity
to power an AMD Radeon HD 7770 graphics card. Shuttle
XPCs offerreliable andstable operation withall thecomponents shown in the relevant compatibility lists.

XPC power supply units and power connectors
for graphics cards
If the power consumption of a graphics card exceeds 75 W, the energy
requirements cannot be met via the PCI-Express slot on its own and the
power supply unit needs to provide one or even two additional power
connectors coupled to relevant graphics cards. You therefore need to
check the power connectors and the compatibility list to find out
whether the desired graphics card is compatible.

Here black-clad elegance combines with perfect workmanship. All front
ports and drives are concealed, only to be revealed when the individual
flaps of the front panel are opened. The H7 models boast a distinctive

Shuttle XPCs in R4-design offer incredible value for money. The special
featureof thesemodels isthe frontpanel which isavailablefor your personal
design. Therefore simply remove the four screws, and a sheet of paper
with a design produced on a standard printer can be inserted. Ideal for
