Care and Maintenance
To clean the headphones, use a soft, damp cloth.
CAUTION: Do not use cleansers that contain solvents. Keep liquid and
foreign objects out of the driver openings.
Detachable Cable
You may need to detach the cable from the headphones for storage or
to replace the cable if it becomes damaged. The cable connection is not
designed for everyday use, and to prevent accidental separation, the connector has a snug fit. Take special care when removing and attaching the
cable.
• Do not use pliers or other tools.
• Do not pull on the cable.
• Pull straight apart—not at an angle.
• Do not twist, cable is a snap fit, not threaded.
• Listen for a click when connecting.
• When reattaching the cable, match the “L” and “R” markings and the
color (Red = Right).
Note: If you pull at an angle, the connector will not detach.

Entretien et maintenance
Pour nettoyer le casque d’écoute, essuyer avec un chiffon doux et humide.
ATTENTION : Ne pas utiliser de produits de nettoyage contenant des

Câble détachable
Il peut s’avérer nécessaire de détacher le câble du casque d’écoute pour le

séparation par mégarde, le connecteur possède un ajustement serré. Faire

Pflege und Reinigung
Zum Reinigen des Kopfhörers ein weiches, angefeuchtetes Tuch
verwenden.

Abnehmbares Kabel
Evtl. muss das Kabel zur Aufbewahrung vom Kopfhörer abgenommen
werden oder um es auszutauschen, falls es beschädigt wurde. Um einem versehentlichen Lösen der Kabelverbindung vorzubeugen, hat der
Anschluss einen festen Sitz. Beim Abnehmen und Anbringen des Kabels
besonders vorsichtig sein.
• Keine Zange oder anderen Werkzeuge verwenden.
• Nicht am Kabel ziehen.
• Gerade auseinander ziehen — nicht angewinkelt.
• Das Kabel nicht verdrehen, da es einen Rastsitz aufweist und kein
Gewinde hat.
• Beim Anschließen auf ein Klickgeräusch achten.
• Beim Wiederanbringen des Kabels auf die Markierungen „L“ und „R“ und
die Farbe (Rot = rechts) achten.
Hinweis: Wenn angewinkelt gezogen wird, löst sich der Anschluss nicht.

El audífono distintivo de Shure, el Audífono abierto profesional SRH1840,

Cuidado y mantenimiento
Para limpiar los audífonos, use un paño suave humedecido.
PRECAUCION: No use agentes de limpieza que contengan disolventes.
Mantenga los líquidos y objetos extraños fuera de las aberturas de las
cápsulas.
Cable desconectable
Puede ser necesario desconectar el cable de los audífonos para alma-
cenarlo o para cambiarlo, si se daña. La conexión del cable no está diseñada para uso diario, y para evitar la separación accidental, el conector tiene
un calce ceñido. Tenga especial cuidado al quitar y conectar el cable.
• No utilice pinzas u otras herramientas.
• No tire del cable.
• Tire recto, sin formar ángulo.
• No lo tuerza; el cable es de calce a presión, no roscado.
• Debe escuchar un clic cuando haga la conexión.
• Cuando reconecte el cable, haga coincidir las marcas “L” y “R” y el color
(rojo = derecho).
Nota: Si tira de la conexión en un ángulo, el conector no se desconectará.
