HM 4042 Handheld Microphone

Description

The HM 4042 is a hand-held conference microphone for the DIS DCS 6000 sys­tem. This microphone is designed for use with the DIS series of conference units
MU 604x or ambient unit AM 6040. The applications for this microphone include
press halls, auditoriums, etc. where the users are standing up, or where the mi­crophone has to be hidden when not in use.

The microphone is designed for clear speech with a low-noise condenser cap­sule and reduces feedback with a cardioid polar pattern. The capsule is acousti­cally and mechanically isolated to prevent mechanical noise from the table being
picked up by the microphone.

The HM 4042 has a large illuminated ring at the microphone tip to indicates
when the microphone is on. A switch is used for switching the microphone on/off
or for adding the unit to the request queue. The microphone provides a profes­sional 6-pin XLR plug for either a spiral or straight cable.
