AO 6008 Audio Output Unit

Description

The AO 6008 Audio Output Unit is an 8-channel digital to analog audio converter de­signed for the DCS 6000 Digital Conference System. It is used as the D/A converter
for analog language distribution systems, such as infrared or wired transmission
systems, tape- or hard disk recorders etc.

Each AO 6008 unit provides decoding for up to 8 language channels with 8 analog
transformer-isolated XLR outputs. The unit connects anywhere to the DCS-LAN, the
same as any other DCS 6000 unit.

The AO 6008 provides set up of the desired languages and volume settings, read
error status, load/save settings and allows viewing of information about the unit. It is
controlled using the buttons and display on the front of the unit or by sending com­mands and reading status from the DIS-CCU Central Control Unit via a PC.
