AO 6004 Audio Output Unit

Description

The AO 6004 Audio Output Unit is a 4-channel digital-to-analog audio converter
designed for the DCS 6000 Digital Conference System. It is used as the D/A con­verter for analog language distribution systems, such as infrared or wired transmis­sion systems, tape- or hard disk recorders, etc. The AO 6004 can be installed in a
standard 19" rack. Up to 20 units can be combined in one system to decode more
channels.

Each AO 6004 unit provides decoding for up to 4 language channels with 4 trans­former-isolated XLR outputs. AO 6004 connects anywhere to the DCS-LAN, the
same as any other DCS 6000 unit.

The AO 6004 can be controlled using a PC running the SW 6000 Conference
Management Software. The SW 6000 can be used for changing the assignments of
output channels and for setting the volume for each channel.
