Winch Assembly for the
PT1420 and PT1720

Assembly Instructions: For PT1420 and PT1720
Remove carriage bolt, hex nut, lock washer, and flat
washer along with the black pad from both sides of the
bow stop. Do not dispose of these components as
some will be reused when mounting the kit.
Align the spacer tube (Ref.#1) holes to the holes in the
tube on the bow stop. Place a washer (Ref.#6) on to a
3/8 x 2 3/4” hex bolt (Ref.#3) and insert into the upper
most hole and into the spacer tube. Secure with a 3/8”
flange lock nut Ref.#8).
Insert a 3/8 x 6” full thread carriage bolt (Ref.#4) thru
the hole in the black pad previously removed. Insert
this bolt thru the large hole in the spacer tube and the
holes in the bow stop tube on the winch assembly.
Secure using the flat washer, lock washer, and hex nut
that were previously removed.
Repeat this process on the other side. Once all
components are assembled all components may be
tightened and the assembly will be complete.
Winch Assembly for PT1922 thru PT2955
Assembly Instructions:
for PT1922 thru PT2955
Remove carriage bolt, hex nut, lock washer, and flat
washer along with the black pad from both sides of
the bow stop. Do not dispose of these components
as some will be reused when mounting the kit.
Align the spacer tube (Ref#1) holes to the holes in
the tube on the bow stop. Insert 3/8 x 1” hex bolts
(Ref.#4) into the holes in the spacer tube and align
with the holes in the mounting channel. Secure with
a 3/8” flange lock nut Ref.#9).
Insert a 3/8 x 4 ½” carriage bolt (Ref#5) into the
hole on the black pad previously removed and thru
the large hole in the spacer tube thru the small hole
in the other side and the large hole in the channel.
Re-install the cup washer, flat washer, lock washer,
and hex nut
Repeat on the other side. Once all components are
installed tighten all components securely. Installation
is now complete.
